  1. Yeahhh, gonna have to strongly disagree with that one, man. Several mods make the game more challenging, and add some of the old features like smell and degradation for example. You always mention playing mods for other games, but when it comes to 7 Days you keep repeating that mods aren't a solution. Just sounds like someone in denial. The devs more than likely won't be adding a lot of this stuff back, but plenty of modders have.

Well, just because they give us a way to change something doesn't mean we want them to give us a reason to change it. 😛 But seriously, while there are definitely some things I don't agree with(noob spawn points, smell going away, item degradation, etc) I don't spew needless hate at the devs for those changes. And most of that is fairly easily reversed with mods. Well, some of it. But that won't stop me from still mentioning some of these things whenever I get the chance in the hopes of somehow swaying their opinion on them. 😂
  4. If you look in recipes.xml for vehicleICTplaceable you'll see it has craft_time="30" on it. You can copy that and add it to whatever recipe you want. It's in seconds. I think vanilla has reduced all the vehicle crafting times from when I started modding as I know they used to take quite a while, but they are all set to just a few minutes now. Guess I either need to change them to be longer or shorten mine to match.
  5. Yeah, it'll be like how it was before. Zeds and mutants both attacking together. I only added a couple ranged ones with pistols and maybe one rifle. No M60 guys. Lol. There is a real small chance for a rocket launcher mutant to spawn though... From the folder name you mentioned I'd bet you had it nested in one too many folders. The folder you copy into your Mods folder should be called Bdubs Vehicles.

  7. No, it's set to 21. That's everyone's complaint. People seem to think they just have to max everything to be able to play the game. That's just not the case. And I do need to add the mutants back into the BM hordes. I have BM specific ones set up, I just haven't added them back in. Will get that done for the next update.
  8. Yeah, it still works. It resets you back to 21 SPIFSAL points.
  9. We'll see. I need to take another look at the overall order of perks and see how I feel now compared to when I originally did it. I'd also like to introduce something similar to NV's traits. Might hold off on that stuff till a21 drops. I'd love any and all feedback for the perks overall though. The player level requirements, order of perks in each attribute, etc. And weapon gaps, abilities, whatever.
  10. Whole lot of 2022-08-27T19:33:58 329.291 ERR GetFloat: InvalidCastException GameDifficultyBonus errors in the log. Not sure the cause but I'd imagine those spamming eventually drags your game down.
  11. I already changed it...to what it is now. Never gonna say there won't be tweaks or something, but it's not going anywhere. Believe me, you aren't the first person to complain about it. Lol. Just checking. Saw you posted in the NPCmod thread. Hopefully they can figure it out.
  12. Nah, there is no way to max out everything permanently. Just temp buffs from some items.
  13. Haven't heard of any Linux specific issues before. I'll ask the NPCmod guys on discord and see if they know of anything. Just to be sure, if you run plain vanilla people can join without issue?
  14. Any chance a multi-return scrapping ever happens? Was just watching G9 loot a Savage Country and he had an inventory full of tank tops and most had dye installed. Would be nice to be able to scrap them with the dye in them and get the cloth and paint so you don't have to remove the dye first. Just a QOL thing.

  17. Very odd. Not a lot of info there. Looks like all the mods and everything loaded fine. Maybe verify the server files and test it out with vanilla and see if that works? I just fired a dedi up on my second PC and joined without issue. But it isn't Linux so not an exact test. There isn't a super simple way to accomplish this. You can edit the cvars on the book items to allow them to be read again, but they will just apply the same buff you already have, which won't raise the attribute. You might could try adding <stack_type value="effect"/> to the attribute buffs the books add. It might not work how I'm thinking though.
  18. Can't really give any info, but if it can't be done with the current RWG maybe throw it in Pimp Dreams or the Dev Diary and see what happens. It would help if everything not on a tile wasn't 10 miles off the main road with a small path weaving to it.
  19. Easy, just tell your friends what kind of books you need and have them bring the extras/ones they don't need back for you. They sound like they will be fairly common so getting extra copies shouldn't be that hard for a group.

Alright, pushing v2.991 with a few fixes: -Changed: Swapped the 10mm pistol model for a better one (Thanks Alter for finding/setting it up) -Fixed: SPIFSAL books still using old buff system that would break attribute levels -Fixed: Hostile NPCs should now set mines off properly -Fixed: Hunters and Mosqs had crazy scales set that would make particles huge on them -Fixed: Several small loc fixes
  21. I'll look into the SPIFSAL bug. I have a good idea of what it might be. As to your conflicts...I don't have the time to troubleshoot that many mods. There are so many errors and I didn't even get all the way through the log. The Firearms mod will cause issues, and one of them changed the backpack size before my mod. In that log it showed that blocks.xml loaded without issue so not sure what's going on there.
  22. Don't think there is a mod anywhere. Only thing you could do fairly easily is to change all the NPC's guns firing sounds to the silenced versions if that would work for you.
