  1. If it helps, the dune buggy's probably already in a good place. I love driving that thing but golly, it is fragile. Which makes sense, as I don't think real-world dune buggies are paragons of durability either.
  2. I don't know if I'd agree that it was "needed" per se. A happy medium would be okay though. At the very least I could do without the random chance of "guess what, your stuff's gone and you have to build a new minibike now" once it reaches 0. I guess we'll see how it feels once we get A21. Question though - I do love your vehicle mod pack. Will you be changing the vehicle damage on yours? And if so, would it based on the vehicle type?
  3. I certainly hope so. I just don't see the reason to set the amount of damage taken that high to begin with.

  5. Nope, don't like this. Don't want to have to lose items and rebuild a vehicle due to bad luck. Vehicle damage is already going to be too high in A21, with no sign of vehicle armor mods to reduce that.
  6. Still feeling like vehicles take way too much damage from nearly everything. Hoping this gets tuned better, or we at least get some vehicle armor plating mods to increase durability. Terrain tool improvements look nice, as do the swimming improvements. Zombies eating animal corpses, also a neat little flavour addition. Wondering if animals might also eat animal corpses? All in all though, this dev stream felt kinda.. meh. Too much time spent playing with the dismemberment changes and collapsing buildings. Still, looking forward to playing A21 when it eventually comes out later this year. Arrows/bolts currently do this as well. I just find it entertaining.
  7. Hmm, that's a good point. Maybe a setting for RWG to ensure at least one of each trader is present before duplicating traders?
  8. This would be a great idea and would make a lot of sense. Though maybe have all of them offer some ammo still as a reward option, along with items geared towards their specialization.

  10. That's already going to change in A21 - schematics and recipes will no longer be gained via the perk trees nor from found schematics (with the exception of mods). That face just says "Why oh why did Rick give a release date?"
  11. Still seems pretty optimistic. I'm still guessing closer to the Steam Summer Sale (which honestly would be a great idea - game goes on sale to entice even more new players) since the following streams have hinted that things still need to be finished before A21 is finished.
  12. From what I saw in the latest dev stream, the POIs look really great, and I'm excited to explore them in A21!

  14. I have a theory that something similar might be coming. In the dev stream they mentioned almost spoiling something with the police cars. I can't say for sure, but maybe something with the lights and sirens? I'm only guessing though.
  15. You came up with that on your own. And quite frankly, it sounds pretty stupid. Zombie chickens! Pretty sure they said they had animations and AI done, but not how they wanted them, hence why they got pushed back. Almost there though! FYI, being hostile to people with differing opinions? Not a good look dude. Might consider growing up a bit.

  17. By your argument, they could have added some bandits and saved the rest for A22. Don't get @%$#y just because someone else has a different opinion than you. I'm curious to see what happens with the restore power quests. I sadly often skip them because I don't feel like waiting until a somewhat narrow window at night to start them (mostly because I miss the window due to not paying attention). I guess when I first heard about new quest types... I was expecting NEW quest types. I'm hoping that Infestation evolves into something beyond just killing harder zombies. I'm not sure at the moment what could be added to them later though.

  19. I don't think they said anything about that, but I wouldn't be surprised if Infetchstation got added as a quest type.
  20. I like it. Has "I'll pay you $5,000 to stay one night in this house" vibes. Definitely a neat "survive the night/defend the POI" quest idea. One idea I had wasn't a new quest type, but more of a sprucing up for the "Open Trade Routes" quests. Have the trader give you a contract and/or a "sample" box to deliver to the next trader as well. Wouldn't change the quest really, but would add a little flavor. Could have the receiving trader send you back with a reply, too
  21. Show me where I asked A21 to get delayed over a few quests or where I said I wasn't a fan? A fan would want a game they enjoy to be better if it can be. Isn't that why you mod? I guess my question is "why make Infestation at all?" They said new quest types in A21 - Infestation isn't "new". Yes, I sound like a broken record, I get it. They've also said other new features for A21, but some of those got pushed back to later Alphas because they weren't ready (bandits for example). Nothing wrong with pushing a feature back if it's not ready - that's the nature of game development. And that's okay.
  22. That's what all quests in just about every game are. Go here, do the thing, return for reward.
