can someone plz send me the link on how to download the cb thagreat compo pack plz as i cant find it anywhere and blue fang cant install it on my server

Sorry for the trouble. Sounds like your OneClick cache is corrupted: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/2713442/clickonce-application-fails-to-update

 

To delete the ClickOnce file cache delete the contents of this folder based on the operating system.

Windows XP and Server 2003 - %userprofile%\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\*.*
Windows Vista and Server 2008 and later - %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\*.*

 

Copy the %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ into an Explorer window, and delete everything in that folder. It'll get re-generated when the program starts up.

Gaames loaded from mod launcher stop at loading game data before options screen

 

Hi,

 

As mentioned in the title ay game I try to launch from the mod launcher stops at loading game data. I can load vanilla 7DTD fine through steam. I used to be able to play the mods through mod launcher. Bujt since just before Christmas It hasn't been working.

My video drivers are up to date Nvidia Geforce GTX which worked fine previously. I have tried having it C: drive loading it without EAC and the other options in the game launcher.

 

Anyone have some advice?

I am also crashing when I once had no issues. Valmod now crashes straight to the desktop before even loading in items. Fresh install also does this, I have 32 gigs of ram, galax gtx 1080 ti and 7700k cpu, ran off of an ssd. So I am 100% sure my pc can handle the modpacks I am attempting to run.

 

EDIT: interestingly enough, only simple mode crashes the modpacks, once I switch to advance and do it all the long way it seems to work o.o

First Question ... What Game are you trying to Launch ??

Some of the mods _ due to size will take a long time to load up or it seems forever .. examples .. WOW and Ravenhearst can take up to 3 - 7 minutes just to get into the 7D2D launch window where the option list is the first time .. It does get better .. but don't look for Instant ....

Remember .. this Launcher is updating files as you begin a game each time and checking them ...... Some of the games are quick and some are VERY Slow. ( I sometimes go get a drink while waiting ) .

Trying to get some answers on the CBmod

 

Let's welcome CBThaGreat's CB Mod as the newest mod available in the Mod Launcher! Options include with or without compo pack, and can also include Xtrakicking's Zombie Retexture pack!

 

Looking to contact CBThaGreat...i am having troubles getting the mod to work on a dedicated server hosted by HostHavoc. i have uploaded the file with FTP...set the config...restarted...launched from the 7dtd launcher...game shows up, but when i jump in, the game starts a vanilla game...so NO mod started...i am stumped and HostHavoc advised me to contact the dev for a answer...any help would be thankful....thank you!

Sorry for the trouble. CB Mod is just an XML mod. You'd just extra the files, and upload them as-is. We'd need to see the error logs to see what the issue is.

I understand that it is a XML file mod....i uploaded the mod file to the server (hosted by HostHavoc) and ran from the launcher...there is NO error...I join the server and there is No mod....was wondering how to add the mod to a dedicated server. thank you

Yes, can you grab the log files from the server? On the server, do you have a "Mods" folder?

Hi guys

 

since the last update of the mod launcher the additional command line "-configfile=serverconfig.xml" does not work.

Can someone help?

 

That functionality hasnt' changed. Can you upload your game log file showing the failure? You can go to the View menu, then Log Files, and find the output_log.txt of the current mod.

Yes sure.... but there is no error

the game starts but the settings I changed in the file serverconfig.xml are not active

Thanks for the log. In that same screen, can you change the drop down that says 7d2dlauncher.txt and select output_log.txt?

 

I'm not really looking for an error, but rather confirming that the parameter is passed in. I don't think all settings in the serverconfig.xml are valid for local games.

I changed the airdrops frequency to 1 day and DayLightLength = 21

changes are easier to verify and and worked previously

output_log.txt

Getting black screen when launcher starts 7D2D

 

Hey guys,

 

I downloaded starvation mod earlier tonight, i was able to log in fine on 2 different instances (using the 16A launcher that auto copies the 7DtD directly to an additional folder) but since then when the mod tries to load all i get is the game application launch and a black screen. I have reinstalled the launcher a few times, redownload mod, verified viles in steam, tried log in as admin and alos EAC off and on, just unsure where to go next. Not sure what information you all might need to help me out further, any help appreciated.

You are running the EAC. Can you click to uncheck the Enable EAC in the mod launcher, and try again?

 

Yes I was running EAC - I did it without EAC and it loading in fine, I thought i may have checked that option but its possible i didn't, i thought it was required for Multiplayer servers ( I logged into a multiplayer server fine without it though, will it be an issue) - these are the most recent logs -

For mods like this, that modify the DLL, you cannot use EAC. It always has to be disabled. Starvation servers would have this disabled, so you'd be able to connect to them without being kicked.
