As if anyone would be stupid enough trust a bag of blood they found in a trash can during the apocalypse enough to use it on themselves. They should keep the blood draw kits, give them a limited number of uses and have that be the way to get blood bags- since that is the only blood source you would be able to trust, fresh blood from a known source.
