  1. Experimental version is, stable is not. http://ul.subquake.com/download
  2. Consult the ingame Journal, it has a bunch of entries starting with UL, explaining most of the intricacies of the mod. Crafting cardboard boxes was removed, because now you can pick up almost anything, storage containers, furniture, deco, lights etc (by holding E onto an ojbect and then through radial menu) Higher tier carpenters tables craft things faster and some things yield more (like more planks, for example, and also unlock new recipes.
  3. Quests will reset the POIs to have proper boxes, other suggestion is to move onto an unexplored region of the map or, figure out what region file your base is at and then delete everything except those region files.
  4. Not my fault, it's because TFP introduced twitch integration and it so happened to be, that one of the twitch resource loot box ID was matching my undead legacy cardboard box ID and you get that now instead. There is a reason for the first sentence on my patreon post about the update/patch notes https://www.patreon.com/posts/51828952, that states: "Compatibility with old saves is unknown/untested! Proceed with caution when trying to load old saves, make backups and all that stuff!".
  5. Reinstall the game fully to fix the white buildings, experimental requires a19.5 before applying the mod. As for all items turning to H quality, that's normal with old saves, because how quality levels work was changed and completely reworked on all items
  6. @Xamllew You can thank TFP regarding having repair kits left and right thrown at the player at amounts that rarely require you to actually make them yourself if you do enough looting. It's something that will be addressed once loot overhaul first major pass will be complete. Regarding your AK from trader, mod balance with vanilla stuff is a constant struggle and some of that will be addressed with 2.4.XX update @TwitchingDude I would love to see a screenshot of that visual glitch
  7. @doghorde Try disabling Texture Streaming in Video Options and set Texture Resolution to 100%
  8. It does not, no, have to reinstall them and in your case, game files also need to be updated.

  10. The more people play the experimental version, the more eyes will be on any potential bugs or issues with the new version. But I'm gonna give it at the very minimum a week of testing, could be more, it depends on so many factors. As much as I wanted to do a push to stable, I don't feel it's ready just yet, because there are a lot of people who still have playthroughs going on A19.4
  11. @fnfear That's not how modding works anymore ever since A17, you need to make Modlets and in Undead Legacy case, they have to load after the mod. You can find information on how to make modlets here on the forums, here's the basics: https://community.7daystodie.com/topic/7653-xpath-modding-explanation-thread Also I've released A19.5 compatible version of Undead Legacy, it's not fully playtested, so it's rolling out on experimental branch first!
  12. And there's a slightly modified version of Undead Legacy available on Mod Launcher only, made by fellow patron Biddle called Undead Legacy - Biddles Retribution:
  13. @kexes go live in the wasteland to experience more zombies
  14. Currently it doesn't matter no. Getting titanium is a chance, the more you have them, the higher chance that some might yield titanium.
  15. Yeah, I decided to remove the ability to pick them up, because when you could do that, nobody bothered crafting wood storage chests as well as many server owners complained, that people picked the loot chests up and that left the POIs empty without them when loot respawn happened.
  16. Next update will feature updated info panel screen packing more features and with more refined look with dynamically rescaling description section
  17. @kexes your server is having performance problems, need a beefier CPU or lower the zombie count in server settings @AKMARK5000 it is planned for the school bus to be repairable at some point @MetroDetroitGaming Loot is balanced around 100%, every other setting is at users discretion
  18. Yeah, no... I don't want to be responsible in monitoring content added to the site. Now it's a bit more difficult than it used to be because of copyright issues and trolls and I just don't have that extra energy to do that. And speaking of wiki's, the one for vanilla 7 days to die is not even up to date and there's tens of thousands of players who play the game, yet no one bothers to help and maintain information to be relevant to the current state of the game, and you expect people to do that for the games mod with even smaller audience? People come and go, lose interest in the game and in my mod, that's just how it is. When I made the discord channel for Undead Legacy about 3 years ago, there's hardly anyone left in the channel, that's been there since the beginning, people move on and this fact alone makes me super appreciative about all my supporters on patreon, who stick around and help me in the long run and understand that things take time and managing maintaining an up to date wiki for the mod would seep into that precious time, that could otherwise be spent in developing content for the mod. Also there's nothing worse than misleading information and having people come in confusion and ask, but hey, wiki about your mod says that things are done in this or that way, but you cannot do that in the mod. I already get that when people play my mod and ask stuff like that in reference to a youtube video they saw a while back about the mod. Point of all this is that maintaining up to date and relevant information for a constantly evolving project is not an easy task and even if I don't manage a wiki myself, there's no guarantee that the people who would, would do it indefinitely and when they decide to move on, I would be stuck doing that stuff myself or beg for people to help me out and I don't want to do that.
  19. 1. Yes, for now. 2. Yes, later, once a suited asset is found for one. 3. It's that fast, the game can't keep up, might reduce fire rate for it 4. The way loot icons show up is intentional so that you see them far away. There were plans for a wiki and I had a wiki website based on mediawiki template set up for few years, but decided to drop it and made my own website without the wiki template (http://ul.subquake.com/), but it's probably never gonna have a full wiki-style rundown of all the things in the mod, because first of all, that would be a lot of extra work to maintain that information up to date for a constantly changing and improving mod, because it's very much work in progress and no where near finished and secondly I am the kind of person that doesn't like if you have to break your immersion from the game and open up some website in your browser to look up some information, therefore the solution should be improving information about things inside the game instead.
  20. 1. You pretty much answered the question with the question, you build new stations as the need arises for them, there are many of them and some have multiple tiers and due to the sandbox nature of the game, concentrate your efforts in making those, that you feel you need the most in a given moment in the game, the way the workstations were set up was by logic and item/block recipes were categorized accordingly. For example, Artisans table is responsible in crafting stone things, therefore making furnace and blacksmith's forge requires it. That said, the mod is still very much work in progress and I'm constantly working on it and improving/expanding things, so things can change in the future when enough feedback is gathered on what people like, hate, what's good, bad or difficult etc. 2. Ability to adjust encumbrance was removed a while ago, because it didn't feel right to me, that people were simply disabling it completely without even giving it a proper try. More customization options will be added later, but work on those is on halt until A20 drops and currently my efforts are focused on other things. As for any info, I'd suggest joining Undead Legacy discord channel and exchange experiences with other players playing it, I'm sure others will be happy to exchange some tips and tricks they've learned up to this point. For me it's hard, because I usually end up just spoiling and saying too much and I think the fun of it is to discover new things by yourself or together with a group of friends - that's why most of you guys are here, aren't you, to explore new experiences beyond vanilla gameplay
  21. Maybe, can't promise, because I want to add custom ammo casings for each ammo type and it would do very little good anyway.
  22. @Moragor Thanks for the report. Will be fixed in next update, however at this time there are no more plans to release stable updates for a while. I've moved on to the next experimental phase, so until that's done, it might take some time until the fix will be available for stable.
