  1. You don't. Cross-Platform play was never supported on the console version.
  2. OMG, did you read the instructions? One minute while I fix your post for you. 1. Backup your save and profile data. 2. Wipe everything. All save data and downloaded worlds. There is a tool in the launcher for this. 3. Exclude your client from security software. (Covered in detail in the Pinned threads you're not reading.) 4. Validate the client files. It is recommended to do this at least twice because Steam's CRC check sucks. 5. Start a fresh game and try again.
  3. Also note that that laptop isn't going to do well at 4k. You will want to drop your resolution to 1440p or 1080p. Doesn't matter that it's a 12th-gen with a 3080. You might as well have a desktop 8th gen with a 1070. Your video driver is also from June. Install this one. Don't forget to opt out of the GeForce Experience bloatware, and you should choose Advanced to perform a clean install. This is a driver issue. It's not a bug with the client. You're probably just using the crap "Microsoft Certified" driver that Windows installs with major updates. It doesn't include full Direct3D support, and causes this issue.

  6. Moved to the correct forum section. Read the Pinned threads.
  7. Yep, return is going to be managed entirely by the store you purchased the client from. Typical rules are less than 14 days from point of sale, and less than two hours of gameplay. Also note that neither the PS4 or the Xbox versions are advertised as supporting cross-platform play.
  8. I responded to you with this in Discord, but pasting it here for others that may happen across this thread... If you use SteamNetworking, it basically uses Steam servers like a VPN. All traffic goes through Steam before it gets to your server, and makes the same path in the opposite direction. This increases latency incredibly. SteamNetworking should only be used if you are unable to properly forward the ports, or for troubleshooting. In absolutely every other situation it should be disabled. Disabling LiteNetLib will have a severe impact on network performance of the server.
  9. Probably not. Just because they didn't cause a problem before, doesn't mean they weren't an issue. It just means that you didn't run into the part of the mod with a compatibility problem yet. Always validate that the mods you are using are compatible before loading.
  10. You have mods that are not compatible with a20. One was never even updated for a19.
  11. Need the whole log. Please read the Pinned thread.
  12. If your mods are only xml edits, then the server pushes the changes to the clients when they connect. If you have any mods with extra assets or dll changes, then every player must have that mod installed. Most overhaul mods like Darkness Falls fit this category. Usually the mod author will note if they are server-side only or not.
  13. You can either just type it out normally, or use \n for a new line.
  14. Need the entire log file, not a snippet.
  15. Hosting on Nitrado shouldn't be an issue. They would forward the proper ports. I had incorrectly assumed that the world data was incorrect, but I see now that I was mistaken on that. Have the problem user clear all of their game data using the tools in the launcher. Should back it up first in case they have any saves they want to keep.
  16. Server 2022-11-23T21:28:04 0.078 INF Version: Alpha 20.6 (b9) Compatibility Version: Alpha 20.6, Build: WindowsPlayer 64 Bit .... 2022-11-23T21:28:57 53.306 INF Loaded world file from different version: 'Alpha 21 (b11)' Client 2022-11-23T20:56:25 0.017 INF Version: Alpha 20.6 (b9) Compatibility Version: Alpha 20.6, Build: WindowsPlayer 64 Bit ... 2022-11-23T20:57:25 60.370 WRN NET: Requesting rules from TCP (193.34.69.108:38054) failed due to connection problems (No connection could be established because the target computer refused to connect. Honestly, it's amazing that anything worked at all.
  17. Doesn't really matter. You're using obsolete mods designed for an old version of the game. Your game version.... 2022-11-20T01:17:58 0.025 INF Version: Alpha 20.6 (b9) Some of your mods that fail the check.... Better_Leveling (19.6) Boid's Casual Spawns (1.1) - Not updated since a19 Every_Day_Restock (19.6) Zombie-HP-Bar (19.6) And that's just a few. That full mod list is insane.
  18. In Alpha 19 and previous, the cap was 40. With A20 it caps at 50 now. And these aren't frames. This is a measurement of clock rate efficiency.
  19. Ideal is 40-50. 30-40 is generally good. Anything below 25 is where you start to be concerned about performance, and below 20 is definitely going to show in gameplay. You should open up more cores.
  20. There are a number of YouTube videos detailing how to do this, and probably a thread or two over in the Prefab section of the modding section of this forum. Be aware that all clients will need to have the prefab files installed to prevent sync issues.
