  1. I know this is off-topic, but this comment confused me. No BFD, just a headscratcher... All of the images in this thread are related to this thread. Are you suggesting that the images should be posted in a separate thread, in a different section, outside of the topic they are illustrating? Or are you suggesting that he makes a second thread just to showcase these menu shots? Either way, that is weird as hell, but thanks for the clarification.
  2. In your example, the mattress is composed of cloth, a needed material, so it has normal HP. The open cupboards are simply in the way. No one using them as a wood source. I never remove cupboards unless I am replacing them, so I think their low HP is a convenience, much like the damaged blocks, provided for those of us who want to do some remodeling.
  3. If you are talking Steam 2-pack, you can't buy that if you already own the game on Steam. If you try to buy single copy as a gift, they try to make you assign it to a friend at time of purchase. I do not know of a way to buy random Steam copies and hold them for later.
  4. The "Secure" storage defaults to unlocked. Maybe they have stats to support that decision too? This a security feature. The default should protect those NOT paying attention. Those already paying attention won't be bothered nearly as much as the inattentive guy who just got robbed.
  5. I think you should go for it. Thank you for caring so much.
  6. Only if designed that way, right? LCB already can regulate block damage, making your base invulnerable to other players. How hard could it be to have LCB also disallow lockpicking in MP? I really don't know...
  7. There are two wall calendars in-game. One says 2013, the other says 2034. Since one is obviously the starting date of this project, I just assume that the other is the prospective release date. Prove me wrong?😜
  8. I logged in this morning with the same four zombies circling my platform as when I went to bed last night. Not just four zombies, but the exact same models. This is on a heavily modded SP game, so it may not be indicative of vanilla or server behavior, but it happened.
  9. The setting for "Decrease/Increase God Speed" on the Misc. tab also controls detached camera speed. Shift + =, Shift + -
  10. In cm, go Props Building/Appliances
  11. What hype? It's been mostly silent around here for a while, compared to previous cycles, and the tone has changed. This forum was more fun a couple of years ago. It feels like less damns being given, but I am a confirmed pessimist, so I'm sure everything will be "fine" in the end. Yea, boyeeee!
  12. I love this feature. I would not want it to go away. I often play BM every night and I use it to progress quickly in early game. I log in and out several times during those first nights. Otherwise, the BMs are slow and boring for the first week or so. If needed, you can just turn BM off before you log back in. After sunrise, log out and turn it back on. This is safer than tinkering with the game clock.
  13. I love No-Trader runs. I just add recipes for all non-craftable items. For me, the back and forth of the trader system is the most tedious and gamey aspect of vanilla. Just let me take all the missions and go about my business. I'll be back in a week or whatever. Or give me a time limit, or a zone to clear. Anything but this travelling the same road over and over, checking in between each job. I hate it a lot. In my perfect game, there would be no traders. All POIs would be Clear and Fetch missions, triggered when I step on the property, one-and-done. Buried Supplies missions would be migrated to the Treasure Map system. Kill the zombies, collect all the MacGuffin parts, save the world. In the final scene, I'll be flying my gyro out of the death zone, homeward bound, when I get clipped by the air drop plane and go down in flames.
  14. We can only speculate, but in a situation like this, revenge is a likely motive. This person was ridiculed or spoken down to or simply disagreed with, and their ego can't handle it. If this imagined offense had happened at work or school, this is the same person who would show up later with a rifle.
  15. This is one mod that I add to my "vanilla" game: Vehicle Cruise Control – 7 Days to Die Mods It's tiny, it works great, it allows me to play the game properly without pain. Pinky-shift hurts too much. It has a 3-position toggle and propels you from a full stop without using the drive button (W) at all. It does have a bit of UI overlap where it blocks the XP pop-up, but it's only an issue when killing with the vehicle. I can live with that.
  16. I read this thread earlier, then I had my morning 7DTD session. I had just started a T4 Clear when screamer showed up. I let her scream to farm them for xp, but then I @%$#ed about too much and almost got killed. Good times. For me, screamers and wanderers are more fun and challenging than BMs because of the randomness.
  17. Not just dogs: EDIT: For the record, this is NOT a complaint. I am glad the snake is climbing, though he could look a little better doing it.
  18. When patch notes are written properly, the "Fixed" section is best read by mentally adding the phrase "has now been fixed" at the end of each line.
  19. This mod will work in D0 but I think it's only good for SP. In MP it does not seem to differentiate between your chests and your neighbors. I have not tried to fix it as I don't MP very much. Craft From Containers at 7 Days to Die Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) Don't worry about the weird buttons, that's from a different mod I am still working on adding which needs UI tweaking.
  20. Stumps produce honey by default. The book unlocks honey from TREES.
  21. Nope. I'm going to skip school and stand beside it all day, poking at it with a pointed stick. Make 7 Days great again.
  22. I do not play MP so there may be some obvious flaw in this idea but... They should add a "Share Knowledge" option beside the "Share Kill XP"? It would play as if you read a magazine then told your friend all about it. Then teammates could read everything as they go and never feel the inventory hit. It seems that this could satisfy the homebodies and den mothers without disrupting the new system too much? Funny thing, I am one of those in real life, but not in-game.
