  1. That should be the case during the summer sale on Steam. It will start on June 29.
  2. So no more crafting scrap iron into junk turret ammo for sale.
  3. The 0.5 zombie is a crawler 😁
  4. I'm looking forward to the changes to the club books. 20% less stamina consumption when sprinting while holding a club is right up my alley. EDIT: I just saw the completion bonus for spear books. That's a gamechanger.
  5. In an interview on the Youtube channel Guns, Nerds, and Steel, Richard mentioned that A22 will probably have a much shorter development cycle of about 3 months. However, he doesn't have the best track record when it comes to release date estimates.
  6. This should not happen. It should even run better than A20, since according to the developers, much was optimized in A21 so that 7 Days to Die also runs smoothly on consoles.
  7. I'll believe it when I see it, or rather, when I don't see any new bugs. But I'll have to watch the recording. 4am local time is a bit early by my standards.
  8. As far as I know it is part of the problem. The other part are windows. These were also optimized in A21 so that the performance in cities should be much better.
  9. It doesn't matter what you or I think about child zombies. A moderator has already confirmed several times that the Fun Pimps don't want that in the game, so any discussion is moot anyway. Do you really think you're the first to ask? The topic has already been discussed several times. But you are lucky. The game can be easily modified so that it is easy to add new models yourself. As far as I know there are even mods that add children zombies.
  10. According to Roland, this is rather unlikely. Reimplementing item degradation would require a lot of rebalancing. In A21, things will change in that respect anyway. Currently you can reach quality level 5 pretty fast for everything you craft, but in A21 you will have to climb up the quality levels separately for each technology level. After the quality 5 iron pickaxe comes the quality 1 steel pickaxe. You will re-craft your weapons and tools multiple times.
  11. Not really. With each horde, the quality of my weapons would drop by at least 2 levels if not more. And I don't even want to start thinking about how many augers I would consume per mining day this way. But if you want to give it a try, there is a mod that does something similar to what you want. With each repair you have a 50% chance that the quality drops by one level. https://7daystodiemods.com/item-quality-degradation/ By the way, there is already a thread about this topic.
  12. Roland said that the streamers will get new informations as soon as they are available. Therefore, I assume that they know a little earlier than us when the streamer weekend is.
  13. It depends on your specialization and play style. Do you craft everything yourself or do you loot ? What weapons do you use? For example, I used explosive crossbow bolts for the horde in one playthrough. I used 100 glue per week for that alone. Add to that the glue I use for the repair kits. Since I repair all items before I sell them, I use a lot of repair kits. It also depends on whether you are in the early, middle or late game. In the late game you have practically too much of everything, in the early game you have practically always too little. You chop up leather couches to get leather and collect all the bones you can get your hands on to have enough to craft everything. Due to the high growth rate, you don't have to plant as many trees. Since trees have a big impact on the FPS, you don't want to have many of them in your immediate area. If you want you can mod the growth rate to match what you want. Children zombies are a controversial topic and the developers of every game they had so far had to take criticism. Moreover, they risk being banned in some countries. The Fun Pimps will not risk this just to satisfy a minority of players. If you need small agile enemies in a game you can also resort to animals. I think the zombie dogs and vultures fill this role well in 7 Days to Die. I doubt that something like that will come. Burning zombies are already a lag-fest.
  14. The Mod is from @Guppycur. JaWoodle used it in his last 3 series. It is a bit wonky in the sense that cop spit and explosives can also start a fire.
  15. An attempt for a plausible explanation. The character has a bag in which he keeps the empty jars, but it is not shown in the game's inventory. Every time the character loots murky water from a toilet, he actually takes a glass from his bag and fills it with the water from the toilet tank. When he takes clean water from the dew collector he actually fills the clean water from the barrel into one of the jars in his bag. And when he gets honey from a tree stump then there was actually a honeycomb on the tree stump and the whole process to get the honey from it was just not shown. This explains on the one hand where the jars go after you drink, and on the other hand where the jars come from that shouldn't exist.
  16. It gets beamed into a dew collector and filled with clean water Or it ends up in a tree stomp filled with honey.
  17. Should be easy to mod. The probability of a demolisher spawning just needs to be increased.
  18. Or alternatively, keep an eye on the health of the vehicle and keep a stack of repair kits on you at all times. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will affect streamers. They tend not to pay attention to where they are driving and instead read the chat.
  19. What I would love to see are logic gates to expand the electrical system. An inverter and a delay alone would open up so many new possibilities. Anyone who has ever played Hydroneer knows what I mean.
  20. Call me pessimistic but I don't think it will happen next weekend either. Not because of bugs but because of the Diablo 4 release.
  21. Will be interesting to see how much damage my landings do to the gyrocopter. They are sometimes a bit rough.
  22. You could make a drinking game out of this. If the developers fix the bugs fast enough then you are too drunk to care that new bugs where discovered 😁
  23. What you are describing is Min-Maxing and you can do that with pretty much any progression system. But you didn't have to do it. The advantage of LBD was that it automatically adapted to your play style. With the skill system, you had to figure out what combination of perks best fit your playstyle. Which perks are necessary and which are completely unnecessary.
