Flying would not be a good idea.

I just made some major modifications and extended the roof way out. I'm looking up at it and it seems to me it should have collapsed. I always over build my base. I don't want to lose a pillar to an attack and have the whole thing collapse. This time it looks like I've made a mistake. But it's still there. Rum is messing with my judgment. I'm going to switch to Bourbon

You can put a 4x scope on a crossbow. Can't put nuttin on the bow. For stealth builds the bow/crossbow is the equivalent of a shotgun. You get the stealth advantage with exploding bolts. I've cleaned out entire rooms that way.

I can't find the front door to my base. I'm not too sure how I wound up at the back door in the first place. There is no back door. Why am I looking for one?

Stealth doesn't really start getting good until you put two points in it. When I start a new game it's the first thing I pick. I spec bow, pistol, armor, and the last two stealth abilities. one is from the shadows and I forget what the other one is. One of them increases your stealthiness the other one increases your damage when you attack out of stealth. Put no more than two in parkour. It helps When you have three points in stealth you will be able to walk up to them and club them. Well that is fun, I have more fun headshotting them with my 9 mm My pet peeve is silencers can be difficult to come by. But you can use your bow or crossbow until you get one. Scopes are easier to come by. You are just as effective with a bow or a crossbow. I have more fun with a bow but I can't put a scope on a bow. I can put a scope on a crossbow. Later game I will equip my crossbow and go to a city the wasteland and one shot the high end zombies that spawn there. Don't stay too long in one place or you'll get overwhelmed. Your bow or crossbow can become a grenade launcher when you find the correct ranger book. Late game I have a couple of exploding bolts ready for when I enter those rooms that are triggered to jump you. I once cleared an entire room with one exploding crossbow bolt. I put one point in armor so I can make military armor in the late game. I suppose it would be optional if you're content with padded.

You need to clear out the first floor and then remove any way they might have to climb up. Demolish the ladder or stairs. I've noticed that the pimpsters tend to use concrete stairs and metal ladders so it might take some work or Dynamite

I was working on the roof of my new base. It was in the morning and I noticed a shadow on the ground and looked up and saw a few buzzards flying around. One of them came around and flew maybe an inch off the roof. That was a very nice effect with the shadow and all. It looked good. Reminded me of a place I used to work where buzzards congregated. Hundreds of them congregated there in the winter and spring. They dispersed during the summer. One of them came in for a hot landing and knocked over one of our satellite dishes. They are big birds. So I like having them there. There aren't any other birds. You can hear them but you don't see them. Then I got my bicycle. /Sigh

That just reminded me that I don't have a door on my base yet.

I equip a baseball bat and that's it. In later stages I will use it to finish off a zombie when I just don't want to waste any more ammo on it. For taking out groups of zombies I use explosive crossbow bolts. This is a problem in later game like you said.

When I equipped the burning torch mob, I did not have any more zombies show up at night than usual. I put a torch and three candles in my base. I don't have a problem with it attracting zombies and or screamers. I am careful about how long I leave my forge and fireplace on. Never for more than 5 minutes while I'm there and I rarely have them both going at the same time.

yes it does. If you're cold and you put the burning torch mod on your axe, you'll warm up and have a light you can use to work on your base. Though that is weird when you were upgrading a wooden frame with a burning axe...

I was on my mini bike looking at my map when a buzzard hit me. Unfortunately my 9 mm was equipped. Shot. Missed. Shot shot. Missed missed. WTF? Shot missed. BAM! I was bleeding and diseased. Then I went 100% Cartman. GODAMMIT!! I equipped my baseball bat and bashed its head in. It was laying on the ground and I continue bashing its head in. Then the sane part of my mind woke up and reminded me that I was diseased and bleeding and all I was doing was ruining the condition of my bat. I did what I always do when I'm in that kind of situation. I told him to STFU and leave me alone. Then I continued beating that dead buzzard into the pavement Fellas, never go total Cartman!

good shot! Felt good, didn't it? I can only shoot those things when they're flying right at me. Usually miss when they're circling. I was on foot walking to chop a tree down this morning when one of them damn things decided to attack me. I hit it in the face with my stone ax. Just pi**ed it off. It circled around but this time I had my club ready. I keep trying to extinct the species but keep failing
