  1. thank you everyone for your kind words, patience, and yes, criticisms! jax, sphere, and our server player base have been hard at work figuring out the few things that are either wrong, or aren't playing nicely with each other. this mod was never made to be released as a mod... and was indeed made for veteran players, and perhaps those that like to take a beating. it's not for everyone, and we're still beyond floored at how much you all enjoy it.
  2. once you loot (or craft after finding the schematic for) the hoe, or the sickle; the non farmer can use them to harvest a mix of seeds and plants from crops. perhaps one day they would gain the knowledge to unlock the full potential.

  4. the thing with the git and win7 is just about a month old now, so that makes sense. same thing happened to me, mods i already had installed were fine, adding something new made me go buh? glad it's good! we've seen people on our discord just do a manual download because they don't want to mess with the fix for the system, really should do the fix everyone, no idea what it could lead to down the line.
  5. we have a solo player on our server with almost enough for two additional classes, and serveral that are almost at their second class.... in about 14 game days. i know that's not going to be the same for everyone, but there are A LOT of scrappable books in 3.0, possibly twice as many as in v2
  6. you can do the same scrap on sticks back into wood that you could on 2.2.. or punch a tree the old fashioned vanilla way for a minute in a zombie free area. 5 hours is default i think.
  7. yes, except the part where you ran straight out of burnt before gathering wood and stones in your safe zone
  8. if it's an old prefab, block ids that they were created with might not exist anymore, and get replaced with... weird things. we've seen a few prefabs that had carrots in doorways, turns out the doors that used to be there were no longer in game. will be sure to pass that along. traders will only hold/accept 3 stacks of things, so if they happen to be selling 3 pistols, he won't take one from you. aside from that, there are many things jax blocked from being sold to traders. happy hunting!
  9. the output log info was directed more at pericao, and just for general knowledge since many don't even know it exists. sorry you had a bad spawn @khaine, sometimes just best to gather some necesseties in your safe zone, then move out for the cotton or whatever one lacks where they start.
  10. if having errors, go to (or equiv) \Ravenhearst\RH_30_7_Day_Horde_Edition\7DaysToDie_Data output_log.txt is the file you want. you can paste the content in a pastebin.com and post the link here @pericao, not clear on what you're saying about horde night.
  11. he's had cotton for bedroll for years, asking him to change it back might be like asking the pimps to exclude snow and burnt from the player spawn list at this point
  12. last night after the chickencoop errors, pre-synched on the launcher and it worked fine, 0 errors. if you haven't closed your mod launchers, close, reopen, and pre-synch. we can't do anything without your outputlogs beyond that.
  13. yes, blue fang already has their versions, just waiting on the launcher files. @anyone hitting refresh on the git page, please lay off. ty.
  14. the links on the launcher will change, so you can't accidentally over-write your 2.2 save with 3.0 that said, if you try to float 3.0 ON your 2.2 save, it's g'bye forever to that save, and a broken game. wipe wipe wipe! but you can preserve your 2.2 games if you want to

  21. cool been a while since i used compo fully myself, glad i didn't bungle that and a definitive yes to the cherry picking, including some good seafoods!
  22. pretty sure like guppy said jax has changed some block id's... HOWEVER ravenhearst has a number of poi's handpicked from compo and from the forums in general and they show up fine. not sure if it would change vanilla blocks like that. if you're flat out laying compo on top of rh, compo comes with its own rwg mixer, and not sure if anything else. so don't know if that would be the issue. if you replace rh's mixer, you're most likely going to lose things the world has to offer, especially in 3.0 are dwall's things even in compo? i thought they were specific to his mod, and are places you need to go in walkers?
  23. i run full texture for world items, but lowest on uma texture quality and don't see the invisible/partial zombies. a lot of people stop having that trouble when they turn down the uma quality, i'll have to start asking what their main texture quality is. for makabriel also, the game itself doesn't reuse already loaded assets (or this is what i've been told), and instead loads in fresh whatever it needs, causing extreme ram usage. if i'm playing for more than a couple of hours i'll actually close and reopen the game so the computer can have its ram back. hope they really do address this soon also!
