  1. i would have also said your vanilla install might be funky, like father said. if you're still having this issue can you plop your output log from the mod folder in? to answer your last question there, it's all inclusive, should just unpack and send you shootin'.
  2. stuff n'things... (and thanks ^^)
  3. hi there, we try to keep an eye on all of our places, but the most active is definitely the discord- https://discordapp.com/invite/0uy8OaV8YAMGZKeS there was an issue with a much earlier version not being as streamer friendly as it said, but haven't heard anything in a long time. will pass this on, but hope to see you on discord ^^ edit- i have been told that the files have no strippers, etc. would definitely check with your provider.
  4. lol i love that! and yes, twine everywhere, sometimes even a zomble will deliver it to. mostly i target houses and trash for it. feel free to join us on discord also https://discord.gg/Wgx5P5 @gothyc, sounds like a dreamy first set up!
  5. no idea what your issue is, tbh currently it's toolhead rank1 which is generic stuff. rank2 is iron tool heads, which also requires rank1 of iron tools. rank3 is steel. there are arrows on the perk pages that let you scroll between levels to see what is where, they added this in a16. - - - Updated - - - this is insanely worse if you eat while in recipe heavy window like the deco station or adv workbench. hopefully tabs make this a little better now.
  6. there is a tool head perk, you craft them in the blacksmith station.
  7. hello! none of use a mac, but another player gave us these steps, good luck! ---MAC Install - 1) Uninstall 7dtd. Open Finder, from taskbar choose Go -> Home. Open Library -> Application Support -> Steam -> steamapps -> common. Delete 7 Days to Die folder. Reinstall 7 Days to Die. 2) Unzip downloaded mod. Open unzipped folder. You should see 4 folders: 7DaysToDie_Data, 7DaysToDieServer_Data, Data, and Mods. I will be referring to this as a “home screen”. 3) Open Steam. In your games Library, right-click 7 Days to Die and choose Properties from the drop-down menu. Choose the LOCAL FILES tab and choose BROWSE LOCAL FILES. 4) Copy & paste (do not drag-and-drop) the Mods folder to this location. 5) Open 7DaysToDie_Data -> Managed. 6) Right-click 7DaysToDie.app and choose Show Package Contents. Here you should see 2 folders: Contents and Data. This will be the other “home screen”. 7) Open Contents -> Resources -> Data -> Managed. 8) Copy & paste (do not drag-and-drop) the .dll files into this location. Mac OSX will ask if you want to keep both or replace. Choose replace. 9) Navigate back to each home screen. 10) Drag-and-drop the 7DaysToDie_Data, 7DaysToDieServer_Data, and Mods folders into this location. 11) Open the Data folders in each location. You will see there are Config, Prefabs, and UMATextures folders in each. 12) For each of these three folders, open up its corresponding folder so you can see the contents. Drag-and-drop the mod’s contents into its respective folder. For duplicate files, mac OSX will ask if you want to Skip, Stop, or Replace. Check the “Apply to All” checkbox, then choose Replace. 13) Start 7 Days to Die and enjoy the mod!---
  8. one thing you learn in this game, is destroy everything at least once and see what it gives and it's not any scarcer than vanilla, it's just rng.
  9. you can find them all the ways you did in vanilla, trash, sinks, dismantling things, etc, and you can craft them with forged iron, or in the forge directly. might be advanced forge though, can't remember.
  10. yeah when he released it, it was a sit and stare at the campfire thing, the 1-100 skill, all it did was decrease your cook times on items, then there was still the advanced cooking to unlock some recipes, unlocked based on that 1-100 skill. then it was changed (i THINK before you guys picked it up, but i could be wrong) to a manual 1/10 skill that you just funneled points into, with the same result, decreased cook times, and unlocking adv. cooking.
  11. so you actually got a metric f-tonne of skill points, even tho only leveled one level? on a skill that's not supposed to level you by cooking. is that right? a little different, but we had someone get a nre while opening a sink, they ultimately had to force close the game, but while they were trying to escape the error console, they could see the timer on their scavenge kept resetting, as if they were looting it over and over again. sure enough when they came back in game, their scavenging was at 100. weirdest thing ever. iirc, their log showed nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever. i hate the error console hijack.
  12. the extra poi's (or a lot of them) are collected into magoli's compopack. as jcrook said, jax hand selected a good many from there, but not the ones too op on the loot.
  13. farmer class unlocks green thumb and gives you the first rank of it, you need to spend points on the rest.
  14. i think you'd wind up with one extremely broken mod.
  15. the crowbar is supposed to give a chance of extra stuff when used on cars, pipe wrench is just another wrench.
  16. mmm there is no cooking 1/100 anymore, are you on an older version?
  17. just to reiterate what others said, the land claim block has NEVER been a zombie blocker, just the sleeping bag. default is a 15 block radius/bubble around the bag. it is NOT bedrock to sky. the sleeping bag will ONLY block sleepers after you've cleared the volume properly, and at that it's buggy. that's vanilla game mechanics, and still a work in progress.
  18. that is a bug wither, not sure if it will be fixed now, or in 3.0 took them a while to figure out how it was happening, that the perk was triggering it. glad you're enjoying ^^
  19. i'm not sure what you're seeing tarch, sounds like something weird happened. but the mod does have cars on chance of respawn yes.
  20. hi, none of us know anything about macs, but another mac user got it to work and gave us these steps: good luck!
  21. precisely gam, same with the rain catcher and chickens etc. shoulda made that more clear, sorry!
  22. i haven't put down the composter since we map wiped, i remember it taking two, but nothing about 20. takes a few in game days to be able to harvest iirc.
  23. you'd probably faint if you knew how requested those "clutter" items were. the inventory lag is a little better, some textures were reduced in the models, and the least voted on recipes removed. it can't get any better til TFP put forth the inventory lag fixes on their end in a17. it's just something beefier mods have to deal with for now. operating largely out of your favorites menu helps though. the only places i personally feel extreme menu lag are in the adv workbench, and deco station, most other things feel fairly normal to me, but i don't know when the last time i played vanilla was to compare
