Ok I did a search and did find the prefabs.xml file and there are 5 traders. I confirmed the closest 2. One was 2.2 km and the other was only 450 m. Maybe it is because there doesn't seem to be one in a pine forest. Anyway there are traders so all is solved...or most anyway lol

The one thing I miss from Nitrogen is the ability to add the elevated highway. I wanted to see if I could repair the full highway all across the map and then use a vehicle to zoom back and forth.

*sigh* I will be playing that game pretty soon. Am expecting to get maybe 5 or 6 months of gameplay before I finish.

No, not a previous map. Started a brand new game and used a new name. I am not too worried about it. Will probably end up starting a new game in a week or so. I love the new map smell Won't work for me either . I don't have 7 Days installed (under steam). I do have a copy under a 7DTD folder though. I do this so when I do have a game installed under steam I can leave it vanilla. I have been doing it this way forever. Sometimes I may have 4 or 5 copies of the game there with different mods added to "test" them out lol. I did look under Worlds in that game and There is one called empty for some reason. Maybe that is what happened.

Yeah I thought I would find a xml with the pois listed but that must only happen when you join a server or make a custom map with KingGen. I couldn't find one for this game I started.

What I thought also. Nope, random gen map. I do have half dozen mods but have used them forever in other games I have started and have never seen this happen. Matter of fact I usually have dozens of mods in most games and never had this happen. You think I may find a trader in a different biome. I am curious. I think I can get all the poi's in the game from an xml file in the save dir so I may have a look later.

I just started a new game tonight and from what I can tell I won't have that problem...maybe. I finished my basic quests and instead of getting my usual go to trader I got NO TRADER in red letters. Not sure if that means no traders on map or just no traders in the area I am in...will have to see.

Can you feel that? The hairs standing up on the back of your neck. You can just imagine someone is out there with hands on the keys ready to type that they have played way more hours of the game last week than you have worked. They are struggling not to but it is so hard............

That is a question I have asked earlier. I don't think streamers are classed as testers. From what I can tell from the forum they just need the 5000 followers to be eligible to get an early crack at the game for the streamers weekend. I don't think they are obligated to report any bugs they find. Now if they do or if someone watching reports a bug then that is entirely of their own choosing as far as I can see.

You should be able to get stable versions down to 8.8 through steam. It's the earlier versions before those that you have to get using this method I am having trouble with

If I am getting this right you want to be able to put X's on map and not have them show on your compass? Only way I know to do that right now is with a mod called Declutter Compass by Androthi. It just shows main ones like quests, bed, etc I like it.

You know I never ever really got that. I mean, I could start a game knowing A20 is coming out tomorrow. I wouldn't lose any enjoyment in the game thinking it was in vain. I would still have fun playing it up until I had to delete it and start a fresh game.

I just want A20 out so they can start the A21 Dev Post.

Can the one downloaded from steam just be transferred to the server? Would that work?

I didn't think streamers weekend was to help find bugs before public release, I thought it was purely for advertisement to new potential players. Are they classed as testers when they stream the game? Do streamers even have to report bugs? I just know that there is most likely a chance that when they get it that the rest of us will get it in a few days time after.

I can see what you mean. They may be like me and have the food but not have eaten. Wasn't thinking of it taking anymore screen space. The bar as it is now could be divided.

Not all of us Mole People wanted to stay safe in our underground bunkers on horde night. For me it was just was just easier to make than an above ground one. I still went up on horde nights and fought...that is where the xp was. If on a MP server we most likely had a dedicated horde base where we would go or I would even do the "drink something to keep up stamina and go round bashing in heads" thing. At least early game until I got a fair gun and some ammo.

Was watching dev stream and have seen same thing asked in other streams by other players. You are out with team looting or doing quest and you find some food. You ask who needs food/water the most. Was thinking, is it possible to add the water and food bars to each players info bar. Would be like "Hey Bob, I just found some food and you look like you need it the most" The bars may be tiny but don't think it would be any worse than the food/water bars at bottom of your own toolbelt. May seem a bit OP to some and not even sure if it is possible but is something to think about.
