  1. So I'm playing a world of 7d2d when I discovered a glitch house. Any block in this small area of the basement instantly respawns. It happens to be the loot room, so I can't access the loot. No biggie I think. Then I see an explosive barrel in glitched section. Well of course I had to shoot it. Thus causing infinite explosions and summoning all of the screamers. Here is the map data for this world. I am going to see if i can get it to infinitely explode again.   2. Not saying i agree or disagree with you, but talking to "loads of people" is still anecdotal. Any conclusion you come to using anecdotal evidence cannot be shown to be accurate, due to the type of evidence you are using. You don't like X about the game. You have searched out/found accidentally like minded people, so you think that is what a lot of people think/feel. Like others have said, argue from your perspective.
  3. I like that idea. Will it be easier with the new water mechanics to fill a pool? Alpha 19 i tried to build a hot tub looking thing, and it was bear to fill it to the top(plus all of the water leaking out that needed cleaned up, it was a mess lol)
  4. Probably C) 11 club, 10, 9. From what @Roland has stated in his play throughs the difference is barely noticeable. So you'll probably chalk it up to rng. I believe they are looking into making it a little more noticeable though.
  5. The pipe shotgun is the new blundy, and it is awesome. Same damage, same time to reload, super easy to make. I mean i wouldn't mind switching the model, and keeping the shot gun ammo. The pipe shotgun can also use all of the special ammo types as well.
  6. Another reason for the limit on depth is that don't spawn out past 50 blocks, so this way you can't be "safe on hoard night" Although for people who want to be safe on hoard night can just find a big lake, under-mine it and hang out there, seeing zambees don't spawn in water.
  7. Couldn't they just fill up x bottles of dirty water everyday, have it hold a max of 50 bottles of dirty water max. It could be biome based(5 in the forest 1 in the desert, etc). You could interact with it like you do water sources and it will fill up that many empty jars.
  8. My experience may be different. and i do play on default difficulty. Stealth is op. Yeah late game you get powerful enough with your weapons that you can charge through a poi and murder everything, but if you stealth build properly you 1 shot everything.
  9. That is to be expected. You only have full stability if there is an unbroken line from block to bedrock. And digging under a base can destabilize a block enough that it falls off you structure.

  12. When I run a spear build, if I have back up spears, they are usually stone ones, and they get thrown. Once I have decent guns/bows I don't use any back up spears anymore.
  13. I'm sure other people will have replied to you about this. But a lot of people are @%$#ing for no good reason. I am sure in your group of friends that play together you will have people who go loot and hunt while others will be focused on building bigger and better zombie traps. Right? Then your experience will not change. The people doing the looting will bring back tons of magazines that cover the things you want to do. This has already been discussed. They are the same people who bring you back random higher quality gear that you can't craft yet. Your experience there will not change. My honest guess, is that the progressions will feel natural and not rushed or slow. The only fair way to actually judge how it works is to actually play it yourself. My guess is that you will either be meh about the change, or actually like it.
  14. White knight here??? You aren't an idiot or wrong to have your opinion on these things. You communicated them poorly though. People reacted to your posts as they did. They are not wrong to disagree with your opinion. Aldo, no man sky is a completely different situation. They made promises on how the end product was going to be, and released a buggy mess. What is similar is that both developers love their game and continued to work to make it better.
  15. Oh I think it should have 3 sections of storage. 1 for batteries(like the batter bank) 1 for solar panels, and a small trunk. The better quality batteries the faster it goes, and more range. And the better quality solar panels the faster it charges those batteries.
  16. My only concern about this is how available will the item parts be? Like we have 4 people in our server(not much) 1 person is specced for bows, and another has an interest in them as well. We do not have the parts needed to make enough bows for people(even at 150% loot) That being said i am excited by the thought of it also lol
  17. Yeah bring along a crossbow or a bow for your silenced kills, and break out the DV when @%$# hits the fan.
  18. Also when traveling with a group of people you can toss their vehicles into the 4x4 and all ride together, to save gas on the way there.
  19. On the plus side, there'd be skeletons everywhere!
  20. Part of the problem is with clear missions. If they don't wake up at the trigger points, then it will take forever to finish those missions. That is assuming that trigger poi ts actually exist... There is a fun story about the borderlands game where people complained about the characters movement speed being too slow. So they added more terrain features, didn't increase the movement speed, and the complaints disappeared. It could simply be people's perception vs what is actually happening.
  21. Won't the previous versions have to look for the mod folder they currently use? I don't think they can/will update the older alphas to use the new appdata folder.
  22. Well obviously he is adding in sharks to all bodies of water, no matter the size. You just made a pool with a bucket? Sharks!
  23. I'd even suggest 1 item for glasses, with a mod slot that can fit any of the different eye wear stat bonuses. They could change the appearence. Yeah its not what you are looking for, but i felt it was in a similar vein
