New special Zombies!

While i don't have some pics i do have a "few" special zombies ideas. sense TFP are arming us with new guns, more special zombies.

here we go!

first some new ability for some of the old special zombies!

Screamer: New look, same like the old one but better look!. she has a Long white dress, a very starved looking body, blood all over her face and has some new abiltys

  • can spawn in later bloodmoon hordes
  • A AOE stun effect!

   Burn Victim: has no cloths and looks like a walking skeleton with flesh! and can now spawn in normal homes, roaming hordes and bloodmoon hordes 

  • Same ability

Cop zombie: same look! looks more like a modern cop, with a Vest and a Belt, his skin is Very rotten with half of his face still intact, he's just has a Large boil that glows green due to acid! and this mouth leaks acid!

  • able to spit 3 shots at a short range!
  • some body armor!
  • Can spit a Yellow Ball that explodes into a Gas!
  • if he blows up he will destroy blocks and leave gas!

Feral Wight: this zombie is feared by many! this zombie can take one hell of a beating and keep coming! unless you destroy the head, break all the limbs or Burn the body! he will still keep getting up and looks more mutated!

Ability

  • Only Dies by a Headshot, breaking all limbs, or Burning it! even if he has 1 health! you need to do ether one of those to kill him! a nice hit in the head with you're gun or bat will be enough!
  • better jump!
  • even meaner! 

Spider zombie: this zombie is hated by many wastelanders due to its intelligence! its strong legs allow it to jump super high and its odd spit that it can spray you to slow you down! and has a better look!

  • Can Jump really Far and long! about 10 blocks high!
  • can spit a sticky Bile that will slow you down!
  • Can climb! 

 

Bloater: this early on special zombies kinda looks like Moe but his gut is more Bloated, has a sickly green skin, a Large Gas buildup in the throat that kinda looks like a Frogs vocal sac. he sounds like someone coughing and has a few ability

  • AOE gas Effect: he will emit a Large cloud of gas around him that will lower HP and may cause you to get sick! (causes dysentery)
  • a close Range Cough: he will Breath out a large gas cloud to you and will damage you!
  • If he died by a range attack like a gun he will pop like a balloon and will leave a large gas cloud behind, if he dies by a Headshot, he will only leave a small gas cloud, if he dies by a melee attack he will just die! (note: Gas can effect zombies too! so you can uses them as living traps!)
  • HP: 80
  • Armor: 0

 

 Feral Crawler: when night Falls, zombies go feral! and crawlers are no expedition, the king of heart attacks of most survivors! they are so deicated to eat you that they will use all their strength in their arms to leap at you! they move faster! 

  • Able to jump up kinda like a spider zombie!
  • Move at a faster speed
  • spawn during bloodmoon hordes!
  • HP: 250
  • Armor: 0

 

Feeder: these things are what make some survivors stay up at night! these zombies are pale and look very undead, they have vampire like teeth, have very skinny body's but have a Plumped belly full of Flesh and blood! they get there name due to their feeding habbits! they eat anything, dead zombies, Deer, rabbits, and PEOPLE! they will rip at a corpse and eat and drink blood! they will gain more max heath then normal! if a zombie dies they will stop what they are doing and eat the copses!

Ability, you can take it to you're advantage to kill them! 

  • Able to feed on corpse and living animals to heal themselfs or gain max heath!
  • Able to heal themselfs if they attack you! (if they do 5 damage they will heal about 2 health)
  • able to Jog in the DAY but run nightmare speed at night!
  • Attack almost every animal!
  • Goes in groups to out wight there strengh!
  • HP: 100 (can go up to 1000 if they eat enough)
  • Armor: 0

 

Fallen Riot Crew: this zombie was part of a Armored Police group or Swat team and they have Super heavy armor! while they are covered Head to toe in riot Gear and even a Bullet proof plate covers there face! there armor is Super strong ageist ranged attacks, Normal bullets, stone arrows, and normal Junk rounds do nothing to him and may stun him, (expect shotgun, they do damage), while other ammos like pipe bombs, Molotovs, AP and HP ammo, and iron and steel arrows will damage him! and Melee attacks do a nice amount of damage!

  • Near bulletproof!
  • VERY SLOW!
  • Slow melee attack!
  • HP: 300
  • Armor: 300

Slasher: This Mid tier zombie is a Terror for people who use armor. AKA everyone, these zombies hands have been dulled down to the point where their hands are sharp blades!, they can go through armor! they have No bottom jaw so they can't bite! but they will try to cut you too Parts! they move at a ok speed and make loud breathing sounds!, there blades can cut through armor and armor durability! but not much agents blocks!

Ability

  • high AP damage, Armor and armor Durability!
  • low Block damage!
  • Able to cause deep cuts!
  • kinda sneaky!

Siren: this lady is what happens if a woman turns into a feral wight!, while her jaw lower jaw is missing and can't bite you! she has sharp claws to cut you! she makes loud roars that "Boost" near by zombies, some last longer in battle, some are faster, Some can even be revived from the dead (unless they have no head) and they can even heal!, she moves kinda slower to stay behind her comrades but has no problem Tearing you apart if you get close!

  • Able to boost zombies! with healing, speed boost, more damage, better jump, More armor and revive!
  • Moves kinda slower then most zombies to stay behind to help!
  • Tall so she can be spotted easier

Radioactive Walker: this zombie is the radioactive zombies we have but it only haves one model! they look like a the crawler but has legs and his skin is a Dark green! and a green glow! they spawn sometimes in the wasteland! and in later hordes! they have the same ability as the radioactive zombies but has one model!   

  • Able to heal!
  • has some natural armor
  • HP: 500
  • Armor: 25

Ravager: this zombie is a Feral beast! this zombie looks like a Man but acts more like a Beat! they Move like a Zombie dog! and they make loud Grunts and Growls! with Sharp claws and mean looking teeth! they want to feed on you're bones, Unlike its relative, the spider zombie, they can't jump well! and they are not as nasty!

Ability

  •   Fast speed!
  • can cause alot of injuries
  • Can Move side to side! or backwards
  • can go under 1 block tall hights!
  • a very short leap!

Brute: this Big tanky zombie has alot of health but little armor! he is kinda dumb but hits like a Truck! if he takes to much damage or if you are at a far distance they will charge at you! if the block is weak he will just tear though it! if it is strong enough! he will just hit the wall and fall over! they look like a Gym meat head that has been in a Lawn mower accident (Sorry madmole)

  • Rage boost makes him do more damage and makes him want to go into a charge!
  • His charge will knock over cars, traps, and will fling you back!
  • Very slow moving!
  • HP: 900 Hp
  • armor: 0

Grenadier: This Hazmat like zombie has a Odd mutation what makes his Arm grow with odd Boils that grow very quickly and will explode! he still has the Hazmat mask and makes muffled screams! his right arm is a mutated! he can tear off the boils and throw them at you and they will explode like smaller Pipe bomb but with flesh and bones!, he can also uses his arm as a shield to block attacks from weapons. of his arm is gone he will run at you and try to beat you!

Ability

  • Range attack that act like small meaty explosives 
  • able to uses his arm as a shied
  • can throw 3 bombs at once to make a bombardment!
  • HP: 750
  • Armor: 25

New One!

 

Remnant: these "zombies" are almost Unrecognizable to who they once where. their Face is a rotten skeleton and their hands are raw to the bone! there skin is red and raw like the Muscle under our skin! with hints of Black, dark green from decay!, the Clothing they had has rotted away and very little clothing is left, basically a Old ripped shirt and a Loin cloth worth of pants. they move at a staggering paste, and can be out runed even when running, if a group of them are with zombies the fastest zombies will get you before the Remnant gets you, but if you do meet one face to face, you may wish you meet a normal zombie! people in the wasteland Hunt them to "put them out of there misery" due to their human like Nature of holding weapons! while they are not smart enough to make weapons, they uses weapons or objects they found to use as a Weapon! they can destroy blocks faster and some can have different ability based off the weapon they have! picks they can Break blocks faster and deal more Armor damage. many people believe people turn into these when Someone dies from an infection while they hold a tool or while they where they where still sill alive!

Ability

  • Able to uses Weapons and objects as weapons (they spawn with them depending on Game stage) (from the stone axe to the steel Sledge! any melee weapon a player can uses they can uses, even stuff like Ratchets, wrenchs, hammers, Impact drivers and others, they even have other weapons you can't uses like Sticks, pipes, bones, and rebair!
  • have a higher chance to drop loot bags and if they do drop it! you can get what item they where holding (although it will be level 1)
  • different weapons they spawn with change there behavior,
    knifes and spears them and deal bleed damage but Knifes make them move quicker!
    sledge's make them deal more damage (mostly through armor) but Are MUCH slower
    brawling makes them them Savage and they Don't Stagger as easily! 
    Picks axes and Shovels allow them to break blocks (they can't without these and they deal as much damage as a Worker zombie aka 300 block damage)
    Clubs, salvage tools, repair tools, and unusable weapon gives just gives higher damage (Big thanks to hiemfire for the feedback)
  • Have a next to zero chance to infect you! (they don't bite, only when you die they eat you)
  • they can Very rarely spawn early game but they will spawn more often in mid game and can spawn in POIs! they also spawn in the wasteland more! they can also spawn in bloodmoon hordes and they can be a hand full!
  • HP: 350 or when feral 550
  • Armor 10

 

 

Other ideas i had that i cut!

Gargoyle: this zombie arms have Mutated into wings and would attack you with a loud Screech and with its strong legs! 

 

Whipper: this zombie would have a Sunken belly and one of the arms has his intestines out and he can whip you from a range, Hence  the name

 

Puker: this zombie would be dressed up like a firefighter and would have a nice bit of armor and is fire proof! he get his name due to his short range Puke that fires 8 streaks of Cop vomit that leaves puddles on the ground!, this puke can also destroy you're armors health!

 

Infector: this zombie was the "patent zero" his skin was Blood red and has Red eyes!, and has large boles on this Face, hands and legs! he wears a Patient outfit that is covered in blood and a dark yellow mucus, his mouth is also "Broken" having this mouth Wide open like if you opened his Jaw and broke it! and his mouth has sharp rotten teeth full of Bactria.  he gargles out his Mucus and it burns! it also can infect you from a range but not as good as if he bites you!, you can die from a infection really Quickly if you fight him!

I just don't wanna lose my stripper zombie!! I hear she's being replaced by the blonde party girl 😔

I can draw some of these if you're interested, some of them are also very similar to some ideas i had 2 years ago (like the slasher zombie for example).

I had an idea for a more advanced screamer called a "siren" who hums as well as screams, but what makes her dangerous is if you are in a certain radius around her your movement and attack speed is slowed down, and you can't aim straight. She will also scream in new zombies, and is always feral.

1. just bleed would be fine, maybe have them run (not sprint or faster). Increasing the speed beyond this strikes me as meh.

3. "salvage"??? Or did you mean "savage"?

4. Bonus block damage for a zombie? @%$*#! no! Lump these with Spears or the clubs/improvised.

5. "Farther range" = Reach or are you thinking that the zombie throws the tool/weapon? Hopefully reach, a slight buff to that would be nice for a single subvariant of zombie if they were/are able to fix the MP hit reg issues.

6. You think this sounds good till you get stun locked to death, again and again and again... If a slight buff to their chance to stun, okay. Anything above slight will be a problem.

Chance of a short distance knockback maybe? Have the sledgehammer do a larger distance one and toss the claw hammer in with the clubs?

3. What do you mean by "makes them Savage"?

4. So unless this type of zombie has a pick or shovel it cannot deal block damage? Nice change.

Savage Basically means they are Faster and they persuit you more then normal!

 

Remnant's would not the best at chasing you! just the Shuffle to you, and when they "run" its more of a limp run (like if you hurt you're leg and tried to run)

 

when savage they would run at you normal and they will try to beat you up and then eat you!
