Grolbu
I run with a bunch of mods and as well as my mods folder probably half of what's in my prefabs folder is mods, and there are files scattered around in other folders that have been replaced but I forget which ones. When I see A19 is ready to come would I be better to delete the mods and prefab folders then let it update (then verify?), or just uninstall then install a clean vanilla A19 ? Matt 1977
I always do a full reinstall and remember to find the files in roaming data too. I do this for every update. Just gives me piece of mind that no bugs carry over. I don't play with pre fabs or mods so.
warmer
If you have mods that have replaced files, I am pretty sure running a file validation on steam would fix that. Either way, wiping your install folder and starting over is the easiest way to ensure it's non adulterated with mods files.
pApA^LeGBa
Yep, i also suggest you wipe your install folder and the folder in AppData (type "%AppData%" in the Windows search bar if you use WIN10).
Boidster
I reformat my hard drive and reinstall the OS fresh, but you guys go on living on the edge! 😉

Grolbu
Clean reinstall it is then, and thanks for the tip about %appdata%, I wouldn't have given that a thought. Cheers !
Roland
I simply use the clean function in the launcher and then update and I've never had a problem.
