  1. Any pictures showing the diff between the vanilla textures and the 2k pack that supposedly looks worse than vanilla? (at least thats how I understood it from the first post).
  2. I am very confused with what is happening in my game and i've seen it more than once. So I am in my base which has one entrance with a winding corridor/path and the only way to get on top of it is to go around. I hear a zombie down there, so I go down, and here it is by the entrance on top of my iron bars, how did he get there? He was chasing me, and there is a clear way to get to me, yet I found him loitering around the entrance that has no way for a zombie to get up there without going all the way around, and I got the walls lined with barbed wire, so even if they were to go around it'd take some time. I've also had a time when I had a bloodmoon horde and I was in a place with no visable way to me, suddendly teleport to the floor I was on, the entire horde just literally poofed into existance bascally in front of me. After I got out and day hit I looked around to try to see how they got in, and what did I find? there was literally no way for those zombies to have gotten where they were, all the walls were intact, there was no way to the 3rd floor in this building without busting down the entire thing or them creating their own stairs as they tend to do in a17. Yet these zombies somehow teleported right onto the floor I was on. This a mod feature? or is something really wonky going on with my game.
  3. Had a feeling thats where the torch was, currently its blocking me in my game from minibike and a ton of other things, haven't found one yet.

  5. There is still a bug with your mod, its a UI issue, bascally the health bar does not turn black for health you need to use bandages to heal. Been there for a while now, its minor, but it does bug me lol.
  6. Kinda makes me giggle how TFP managed to break that. The custom books worked fine in a16.
  7. I haven't played this mod or 7dtd in 1.5 almost 2 months, whats new since then?
  8. I just hope when A17.2 or 3 comes that you'll not have to redo most of this again. Then again with modlets, it is sort of easier, though having to recode the dll would get annoying.
  9. What would be a ideal farm layout with them you think? - - - Updated - - - That sounds like a bug, it should be going up from opening unopened containers (By any player if someone used it before you'll prob get 0 skill exp I bet) or using the wrench on things.
  10. So you could bascally use those insted of buckets of water if it refills daily and hope?
  11. The auger in general uses way to much fuel imo. 300 fuel in the motorbike can power that thing for 20+ mins on average or at least it feels that way. Auger? burns thru that in 30s. They should have coded the auger/chainsaws engine to work like the vechicles do, it'd make way more sense. As I am sure a auger/chainsaw can go for more than 30 seconds on a full tank. Its something that has bugged me since I started 7dtd.

Any plans to have miner 69er effect the wrench/sledgehammer like in vanilla? - - - Updated - - - This happened to me several times, when doing various things, I notice everytime it happened I was regening stamina at the time, the current fix for this is to simply spam escape and quit your current game, then reload the save. I've had this bug happen while riding my bike, and while just running around. Its obscure and only happens once in a while so I bet its going to be a pain in the arse to track down whats causing it. Least the fix is easy just exit and reload your save, still is pretty annoying when it does happen though.
  13. How often do you need to replace the water? as this change just sounds annoying to me. Might do what someone else did and build it by a poi's swimming pool, or a river or some naturally spawned water source.
  14. Those notes are for the alpha 16 version, and have not been updated to the Alpha 17 version yet. Thats why it seems off atm. Alpha 17 u get 1 skill point per level usually. So thats what is going on most likely.
  15. ... So I looked and was pretty disgusted by what I seen: <property name="DamageEntity" value="500"/> <property name="DamageBlock" value="2000"/> I see you lowered entity damage down to 200, which is MUCH better than a unsurvivable no matter what 500 dmg lol.
  16. I got a better one, day 1 started in wasteland, just got my first stone axe, zombies started to spawn, 2 behemoths spawned and came after me, can't outrun them, instagibbed. Was so mad I rage quit and deleted the save/world. I think the behemoths need their entity damage toned down, or they have to be unable to run maybe, some sort of balance to balance out how stupidly hard they hit. Was by far my fastest death ever in 7dtd not even 4 minutes lol.
  17. At low levels stay out of the wasteland at all times, and snow at night as much as you can. Wasteland can have ferals at anytime, and snow well you know why. Btw Khaine, you miiiight wanna take a look at the sell value of some of your custom weapons, because... yeah.. 2 in the barter perk and a Tier 2 pipe rifle sells for 4536 Dukes Pipe pistol tier 2 was around 1300 or so. Minor bug for now as the player can just choose not to exploit it, just thought i'd mention it.
  18. I usually install my mods manually, as I tend to customize them somewhat, so using the launcher just makes it more of a pain in the ass to do it.
  19. Item description was first thing I checked lol. Though I can see people not checking it more often than not. What about this, if it can even be done, make a quest popup the first time they pick up a skill book? that tells them they need to put it on the hotbar, and the quest finishes when they use it on the hotbar. Also not a big fan of the water farms need disappearing over time. I mean I didn't mind needing it at all before, but now.. Its going to cause way to much micromanagement imo. Unless it has to be refilled like every few days? Does the old square with a water block in the middle still work? 2 blocks out? or can we go 3 or more now? I also feel some of the stats are too powerfull, perception and endurance to name 2. The stam reduction for melee tool use and the bonus headshot dmg for ranged weapons should both be in their own seperate perks imo. Either that, or stats need to cost more to level past like 5 or 6 to balance it.
  20. So that explains why none of those skill books I found worked, they have to be put on the hotbar and used from there.

  22. Such is the sad life of modders, game updates often screw with things and make you have to redo parts of it. We <3 you guys and gals for it though, I know without mods i'd not still be into 7dtd as I am. Also, that NRE I mentioned? I figure out how to kill it, you have to abandon the "go to a trader" quest in order to get it to stop. Also I found a few skill books but I haven't been able to use any of them, Found the Bikes for dumbshyts book on day 1, but it'd never let me read it. I assume I just download the new version from the a17.1 link in the first post to get the updated version? Then slap it over my current install?
  23. I've found 2 bugs, one I have no idea how to reproduce, the other, should be easy. Had one bug where I'd get a NRE error anytime i loaded into the world, had something to do with the trader quest, as it said 0.0 meters, but never actually marked anywhere on the map. It was a repeating error to the point the game was unplayable, I had to scrap that world. I tried warping to 0,1 which used to fix the trader quest bug in a earlier a17 build but that didn't fix it, and the console would pop up every 1-3 seconds after its closed. Other one, was (and I THINK this is a bug) After using the lucky googles and looting something (they are the loot bonus+50 trasure radius -1 goggles), my scavenger skill started raising almost every single time I opened a container even after taking the goggles off, unsure if this is normal around 10 or so skill. I felt it was worth mention due to how many containers on average I had to open before I put the goggles on to raise it by 1, then it was suddendly going up every 1-2 containers after using the goggles.
  24. Think its about time for me to get back into 7dtd mods, anything I need to know about the a17.1 version of this mod? Also will my modlet to reduce the stupid encumbrance penalty still work? as I hate that crap from alpha 17, why give us bigger inv if your going to penalize us for using it. P.s. u might wanna change some of the mod features descriptions if they don't match both versions. Getting 4 skills points per lv in a17 would be akward.
