  1. Details on the error are in your log.

Can't tell you what the fix is without the details on the error. 98% of the time the issue is related to a mod, but it literally could be one of ten million different things.

Instructions on how to report an issue are pinned. It even tells you to read it before starting a thread.

If it helps explain this any, I've noticed that screamers now call other screamers in A21. In A20 I never noticed screamers call anything but other zombies, but in A21 they (and their horde)end up growing exponentially. One screamer calls another, they both call again upping it to four, etc. We ended up with more zombies outside of a Tier 5 Infestation banging on the walls to get in then there was inside the T5 Infestation.

    Possibly intentional now?

That's been a feature for a loooong time now. If you don't kill them quick you not only get a horde, but more screamers called.

Still curious about how the OP managed it on day 1, but they haven't been back since posting so...

  3. This is literally posted in the Pinned Support FAQ page. I even updated it just a few weeks ago.

The min spec would be for probably 3-4 player, no mods, not a big map. Recommended would be 4-8 players, and would support mods and a larger map.

IMHO, if you have decent bandwidth and a spare PC, self-hosting is the way to go. Especially if you're not afraid to use Linux. I wrote a guide for that here.

I mean, I can run servers on an old Dell PowerEdge R710. The X5675's in it are roughly equivalent to a 3rd-gen Intel i7. It's got some latency issues though with a20 and a21 because the data bandwidth on the motherboard and RAM is getting too old to support what the game requires. Our hosting group was using that until last year when we upgraded to a custom-built system with an R9 5950X.

Really, it depends on what you have and what it is ultimately capable of. This client is very heavily CPU-bound, and the ability to read/write to both RAM and storage is very important for performance. It's why I went a bit overkill with the data setup on our new server. We have six 7 Days servers up on it, and the hardware would allow for me to double that before we start noticing any limitations in performance. (And honestly, at that point the biggest limitations are RAM and storage space.)

This is a server log where people have issues.

the log is also after it transferred the save file from Gportal to Nitrado.

    Does anyone see any issues?

First things... You're renting from Nitrado, and using a 12k world.  Does the level of your sub from them include 24-32GB RAM?  16GB is going to be pretty tight.

I would disable distant rendering in the server config. That will help out with RAM utilization.

I see this error after a player disconnects.

Not sure why that would happen unless the client and save folders were not properly excluded, or if something external was accessing the file.

I see it happen a few times, and could cause issues with trying to load player data when they are joining.

    The game was reinstalled
The graphics card has the latest drivers
With Launch without AntiCheat (EAC) disabled, it doesn't work either
Launching with administrative rights doesn't help either

    I also get a message (  7 Days To Die – Unity 2021.3.19f1_c9714fde33b6 )

Based on the severe number of connection failures you have there, either you didn't exclude the client from security software and that is blocking it, or you have some really bad DNS routing.

if  it was taken down for that then something wrong cus vroid is built into the game craftopia  like its a function of that game vroid also has a mod for valheim  and raft i have used the mod in all of those games and its the only reason i came back to play 7 days 2 die i used my own player model i paid for as doe pretty much anyone that uses these mods if the mod doesn't come back because of what ever is happening with   mod drama i  likely wont return to the game i don't want to be a human on the internet when i am in real life  i want to play games to be my own  character with my own designs not a boring human that looks the same as every other human on the planet

Apples to oranges.  Craftopia got specific licensing to utilize that system in their game. The maker of the mod that got taken down would have had to procure similar licensing in order for it to be valid. If they did not acquire that license, then they would be in violation, and would be taken down as a result.

And honestly, to think that TFP would have taken down a mod like that is a bit of a stretch. The mod author wasn't even selling the mod, and they were not making money off of the mod as near as I can tell. The Vroid templates were licensed though, and as are the templates that you purchase for yourself. The interface to utilize these templates is licensed and requires a paid subscription. If the mod author did not acquire the necessary rights for it, then it would be taken down.

Whether you want to look like a human, or a common Vroid is your prerogative. Quitting a game just because the character interface doesn't support your decision is your loss. It is basically the equivalent of boycotting Mario Cart because you can't play it as a pecan pie.

In any case, your issue is completely unrelated to this thread, and does not need to be discussed here further.

So do i get that right.

My favorite mod, that took a year to make and pop up (VRoid Player Models) got shot down via DMCA request from the devs as part of this giant drama. An innocent mod, that was already hard to make for the dev was shot down by the very game's devs because they are after some other mod that is trying to make money off of it?

This mod single handedly made me reinstall and play the game again, made me actually have some fun again with the game and it may now be gone forever because the devs wildly shot DMCA's around. I have absolutely zero tolerance when it comes to shooting against the modding community, i don't care what the devs say and if they "support" mods, if they cared about their modding community they should have made sure they target the right people.

I'll be honest, looking at the data for this mod, it could have been shut down by someone other than TFP quite easily. Especially if that "innocent mod" was using assets from a number of sources where those models are available.

  8. 1. Change in the launch options occurred. This is the second time this has happened in the past year or so. Not entirely sure if it's done by Steam or TFP, but I've seen it happen in a number of other games, so I assume it's a Steam thing with their new interface updates.

    2. The EULA was updated. TFP is required to notify you of the new EULA, and you are required to agree to it. If you do not agree, then you would no longer have access to the product. Off the top of my head, this is the second time this has happened since the game released.

Wait, for real? Are we actually getting a plasma baton?

Placeholder xml for it is already in items. I haven't seen art on it, or heard it discussed, but the data is starting to exist.

Well I tried to fight Day 7 horde in a winter biome without them, but to my great surprise cops showed up and wrecked my wooden-cobblestone starter base. That was totally unexpected for day 7...

Be aware that the difficulty is not based on the day count, but on your gamestage.  If you push hard at leveling, you will end up kicking yourself in the ass by having hordes harder than what you have resources for.
