You have not been able to join a dedicated server without internet since the game has existed on Steam. The server requires Steam authentication on player connection.
A dedicated server could only increase your FPS is you were running it on another system. Running a dedi and a client on the same computer basically doubles your CPU utilization by the clients.

Try ticking the box for "use native input". Especially if your mouse or joystick have extra software you installed.

Your client log may provide some details. Alternatively there is probably also information in the Windows Event Viewer.
I would also recommend rolling back a driver version or two for Nvidia GPU's. Their drivers have been real @%$# recently, and are causing some issues in a number of games.

The first link is incomplete and has no real useful information.
The second link is the one I referenced, so that means the installation on your PC is broken. Wouldn't be able to tell about the server unless you posted an actual/full server log.

That first link is useless. The second link gives us what we need though.
Your DF install is broken. Nuke it and re-install. The error that occurs later is very likely tied to this.

First started on 21.2 with me hosting, but only occurred to her and I could see her slow jumping and slow moving, while I was moving fine. She is on a solid gaming Alienware desktop with an Nvidia card:

If you aren't going to follow the advice Beelzybub already provided in the thread, at least take the time to read the Pinned threads in the forum, and follow the instructions. Particularly the post about how to report an issue.

The current console version is not able to be updated. A new release in-line with the PC version is planned. You should have noticed that in the announcements and banners.

Also note that if you use DS4Windows, that you should shut it down fully before playing any Steam games with the controller. It will conflict and cause issues.

yeah. Once Upon A Time zeds would priority target doors and hatches over anything else except the player. That was removed a few major builds ago though. Now they target weakest spot, supporting structure if you are above, or just go all ham if they rage.

Bad drone data. This was fixed in 21.2, but either you had the issue before updating, or the fix is broken in DF.
With the client closed... Go into your save and delete the two Drones files.
Then when you are back inside the client afterwards, open the console and use the command "jd clear".

Usually that is because of one of a few options.
Mod mismatch
Corrupted chunk data where your player is
Corrupted player data on the host/server
Unfortunately, without a log we can only take guesses at what it is.

Just because it never had a problem before, doesn't mean it isn't going to. The game out-paced your hardware a few years ago, and as it is developed, will only continue to do so to a greater effect. You are quickly reaching a point where it will be completely obsolete. The only reason it is still keeping up is because of the single core clock speeds. As this title leans more towards multithreading, you are going to be left behind because your CPU does not have true support for that. AMD didn't figure that out until the 3000-series CPU's.
You have a couple of mods that have not been updated to the current version, which could cause some issues. One isn't installed properly, so it isn't even starting up.
Aside from that, again there is no real information in this log. If you played the game at all during it, it was not for longer than a couple of minutes and you didn't do anything of note. Aside from the issues with the mods, I don't see any difference.

Are you setting this up on the same computer that you play on, or a separate computer?
What exact folder paths are you using? Like what is the path to the folder where main.ttw is for the server?
You should be able to capture images with something like Gyazo and then just paste the url to the image here. Your account is too new for much else. We will probably still need to approve the post afterwards, but that isn't a problem.

All that log shows is that you opened the game, and then exited it. Also that you have some extremely old hardware that only questionably supports being able to play the game.
We would want a log from when you were playing, and then exited the game normally. Then another log from when you started the game and had the issue.

Yes. And that is assuming that you did not set a save path for the server. If you did create a save path in the config, then you would make the GeneratedWorlds folder in that location.

Can't say I have ever run into this, even when using custom cursors. I usually play with borderless fullscreen so that I can access my other two screens easily.
