sorry i had try to put a link but i had not succed : the logs are here https://docdro.id/1yqrO5F thx for tryng to help!
Bad drone data. This was fixed in 21.2, but either you had the issue before updating, or the fix is broken in DF.
With the client closed... Go into your save and delete the two Drones files.
Then when you are back inside the client afterwards, open the console and use the command "jd clear".

Usually that is because of one of a few options.
Mod mismatch
Corrupted chunk data where your player is
Corrupted player data on the host/server
Unfortunately, without a log we can only take guesses at what it is.

The hardware is old, however has never had a problem with this game.
Just because it never had a problem before, doesn't mean it isn't going to. The game out-paced your hardware a few years ago, and as it is developed, will only continue to do so to a greater effect. You are quickly reaching a point where it will be completely obsolete. The only reason it is still keeping up is because of the single core clock speeds. As this title leans more towards multithreading, you are going to be left behind because your CPU does not have true support for that. AMD didn't figure that out until the 3000-series CPU's.
You have a couple of mods that have not been updated to the current version, which could cause some issues. One isn't installed properly, so it isn't even starting up.
Aside from that, again there is no real information in this log. If you played the game at all during it, it was not for longer than a couple of minutes and you didn't do anything of note. Aside from the issues with the mods, I don't see any difference.

Are you setting this up on the same computer that you play on, or a separate computer?
What exact folder paths are you using? Like what is the path to the folder where main.ttw is for the server?
You should be able to capture images with something like Gyazo and then just paste the url to the image here. Your account is too new for much else. We will probably still need to approve the post afterwards, but that isn't a problem.

All that log shows is that you opened the game, and then exited it. Also that you have some extremely old hardware that only questionably supports being able to play the game.
We would want a log from when you were playing, and then exited the game normally. Then another log from when you started the game and had the issue.

Yes. And that is assuming that you did not set a save path for the server. If you did create a save path in the config, then you would make the GeneratedWorlds folder in that location.

Here is a link to the Vanilla file. Note that you can always get this yourself by backing up the files you made changes to, and then validating your game files.

Sounds like everything worked as intended except for the walls ect missing. The log from when this occurred would be useful.
Please read the Pinned topics before starting a thread.
This one in particular.

Which controller do you want to use to play the game? Exact model would be useful. I may have something similar around here I could test with.
Also, is the controller detected by Steam?

If you don't do the needful, no one can help you.

Most likely the OP was updated, and the post was awaiting validation from the moderation team. Can happen more often lately due to the rules they have had to add to block spam bots.

Thanks @Beelzybub - do you know where I might find an index of config options for Alpha 21.1 ?
Honestly, just download a21 and look at the serverconfig.xml file inside the client folder. You can do the same for whatever previous version you have. Use the config file for that version.

@SrHyena @shimdidly @Dejavuproned
Going to need you guys to provide logs. Use Pastebin. Instructions are Pinned on how to report an issue.

^^
You bind to the local IP address assigned to the network card you want to use in the LGSM config file, not in the client.
The client itself is not capable of binding to an IP. (Been there, done that.)

Steam isn't on the console version. Moving to the correct forum section. Read the Pinned thread that tells you to read it before posting, and follow the instructions.

You should be using the command differently.
steamcmd.exe +force_install_dir "Absolute\Path\To\Location" +login anonymous +app_update 251570 validate +quit

Not sure why you would post this in the Console section General Discussion forum.
Moved to the correct section. Be sure to read the PINNED threads. Particularly the one on reading it before posting.

With that hardware, you should be using DirectX for rendering and not Vulkan.

As meganoth stated...
I mean, it is really hard to claim there is "planned obsolescence" when the game has fully supported modding to a great extent since the beginning. That's kind of like Bethesda saying that they planned for people to beat Skyrim in 10 hours, and then never play it again.

Client is not able to connect to online services. Exclude the program from security software, and allow it in the firewall. This is covered in the Support FAQ.
If you don't have an online connection, then play offline.

Is the game not supposed to not give quests with LCBs or bedrolls already in them? I thought it would ignore those POIs. If not, it should. It shouldn't take a third party tool to accomplish that.
No, it doesn't do a check before it randomly chooses a POI. Doing that would require a LOT of overhead.

Corrupted player data on host.
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at GameManager.PlayerId (System.Int32 _playerId, System.Int32 _teamNumber, PlayerDataFile _playerDataFile, System.Int32 _chunkViewDim) [0x0005d] in <d7dcfa4979674f179c13273f8b30b551>:0 at NetPackagePlayerId.ProcessPackage (World _world, GameManager _callbacks) [0x00000] in <d7dcfa4979674f179c13273f8b30b551>:0 at ConnectionManager.ProcessPackages (INetConnection _connection, NetPackageDirection _disallowedDirection, ClientInfo _clientInfo) [0x000c8] in <d7dcfa4979674f179c13273f8b30b551>:0 at ConnectionManager.Update () [0x0016a] in <d7dcfa4979674f179c13273f8b30b551>:0
Host will need to go into the Players folder inside of the Save folder for that game, and delete your files. Should be something like EOS_0002e19bdc834556b5c5dc8bc1a41dbe.ttp and .ttp.bak
