  1. So I was moving around eating a few grilled meats in my hand when I suddenly got 60-something hunger given to me when it should have been 30. Can anyone else replicate this? Note: You have to be clicking quickly and constantly.
  2. Balance wouldn't really be a question, at least in regards to horde nights. The player could easily change the hordes to occur once every 30 days, or they could roll back the time. But yes, a less artificial option would be nice. (As would the option to change the difficulty depending on if it's nighttime or daytime.)
  3. I don't use air drops but some extra choices for those wouldn't go amiss. After all these alphas the four standard choices are "None", "Every Day, "Every 3 Days", and "Every 7 Days". Would be nice if there was a range option added similar to Blood Moon Range. One step at a time though. Still got quite a while before A20 hits EXP.
  4. In alpha 20 will there be 1 biome of each per RWG seed by default? Will there be options to customize this further? (1 biome worlds perhaps, or 80% desert and 20% other.) Is the plan to have randomly generated worlds using a set of algorithms and generation rules or will there simply be a selection of a handful of templates the game could choose from?

  6. It'll probably be the same as it is now. There haven't even been any mentions of perks changing in Alpha 20.
  7. For the first new nights I just crouch in darkness and tab out of the game to watch a video or listen to some music or whatever. No point in watching paint dry.
  8. You like Q, I prefer Flight + No Collision. 😜 You do have a fair point though and one that I agree with. I only play on 90 minute days because it gives me time to enjoy the experience and take things a little slower**. Just saying, anyone who plays on 120 minute days and above are basically cheating. You're playing 14 Days To Die, especially if you're using every moment of your time efficiently as you can. **Baking a baked potato, cooking up some cornbread, brewing up a coffee and watching the sunrise is time I would dare not waste on a 60 minute day cycle. 90 minute days however? Sure, sure.
  9. Not sure what the day length is, but if you go into DM mode and press Esc, you'll see a day speed slider on the right hand side. The default is 4 I believe; switch it to 1 and enjoy the long days and nights.
  10. Doesn't matter; they are exclusively found at the trader deep into the "Better Barter" perk. Levels 4 and 5 I believe.
  11. So after 3 playthroughs I've been getting a little bit used to the regular old 7D2D formula I do believe. To shake things up, I've made a few adjustments for my next playthrough. I'll be calling it "Nyctophobia". Settings include 90 minute days, Warrior difficulty, Nightmare speed at night / Walk during the day, no air drops, no loot respawn, default everything else. Standard stipulations include a ban on curing infection with honey and very minimal interaction with traders. As for the "nyctophobia part"? 12 hour day cycle and 12 hour night cycle. I'll also be upping zombie dog spawn rates as well as replacing some forest night spawns with feral cops, feral wights, and feral soldiers. I'll also ban myself from raising the gamma above 10. Should be interesting.
  12. Agreed. At this rate a new thread should be created that specifically holds criticisms against moderators and the dev team. The thread would be nicknamed "trash".
  13. Not to mention I've seen plenty of smaller creators (not going to mention names) all hinting at, "A20 is probably not that far off." Well, they're just setting themselves up for disappointment. *Shrug*
  14. The amount of people spreading the false rumor online that Alpha 20 will be releasing within the next month or two is insane. Could any member of TFP staff confirm this is not true? Concrete evidence is needed if I'm going to clear this up with anybody so a direct quote would be nice.

  16. That's funny. I hope you were joking there. I would never trust a millennial with something as grossly simple as washing the dishes, let alone managing a community.
  17. So I found an exploit to locate every trader in the game. You get the special quest to locate the next trader and you accept it. Head in that direction and before you visit the trader compound you cancel the quest. The new trader will offer the same quest to locate a new trader. Rinse and repeat until every trader in your seed has been discovered. Edit reason: error in instructions Depends on RNG though. It might send you back to the trader you have already discovered. TFP might want to look into this.
  18. The new burned victim looks great, although I have my doubts that just by looking at him I would be right to assume he'd set you on fire.
  19. True, but I always delete the "Locate trader" quest at the beginning of the game after completing my starter quests. The trick is to not look at the coordinates.
  20. I understand that RWG for A20 is probably in very early stages of development, but will a toggleable option be added where the player could spawn in the middle of the wilderness as we used to? Spawning on a road next to a town is great for new players, but I personally enjoy the journey of locating my first town on day 1. I would present the same "argument" if the player was guaranteed to always spawn 10 meters away from a trader.
  21. Won't someone think of the lurkers and the new players? I meant some sarcasm there but seriously, you're doing those folks a huge favor by dividing off topic discussions from the real information at hand.
