  2. Alright, at least we could meet at this juncture. I do find it a bit odd that settling in the middle of nowhere presents the same threat level to the player as settling in the middle of a city or a large town. So you do admit you're hiding something.
  3. If you're talking about POI's like the Ostrich Hotel and the no-name hotel, those have loot rooms now, although not as impress as even bog standard houses. I'd imagine both POI's will be reimagined sometime in the future. If you mean the broken down buildings, no, those are staying.
  4. Would be great if we could create a world with just one biome.
  5. I'm most curious if RWG in A20 will have random biome sizes and placements or if there will be a set of predetermined templates that could come in a maximum of four orientations. 🤔
  6. Any word on town sizes in A20 RWG? The largest cities (i.e. 100 POI's or larger) should be removed entirely. From my perspective it's poor game design to allow the player to settle in one location literally forever, especially if they have two or more of these cities generated in the local area like in A19/A18. The player should be forced to be a nomad until the end-game, travelling from location to location, bringing resources with them and harvesting more if needed, building a temporary base that can hold down the horde, and when they exhaust the region of resources the move on to a new location. Only late-game - gyrocopter and 4x4 truck phase - would they have the option of realistically setting down a permanent footing. To summarize it simply, towns containing 100+ POI's are grossly overpowered and should be nerfed. Edit reason: spelling error. Speaking of nerfs, how about traders? I've had a change of heart and in my opinion a maximum of 10 traders is a little bit much for 8k map sizes. How about reducing that number to 5 (no chance for duplicates), or if you must, a maximum of 6 or 7?
  7. Don't quote me on this, but from what I've seen and been told the burnt biome is getting the axe in A20; either that, or it will be combined with the wasteland.

  9. Just be sure to provide that as feedback to Bethesda for their next Fallout game.

I would honestly stop using traders if I could, but the temptation of checking their inventories, and the thought of tossing away weapon after weapon, tool after tool, only because I didn't need them for anything other than coin... I could never stomach it. On the other hand though, after finishing my Fortitude world on day 76 I've restarted about a dozen times since, never making it past day 2 or 3 for whatever reason. Can't put a finger on it though...
  11. Or you can just quest from traders. 😛 For a T2 buried supplies I got to choose a T5 steel pickaxe as a reward. 😜
  12. @Roland You still playing 7 Days To Die in Alpha 19? If so, got any interesting tales to tell? Horde nights, current level of progression, maybe some info on your base/horde base?
  13. Has anyone else had an issue with demolishers exploding upon every projectile hit? (Molotovs, rockets, grenades, etc.) I swear that every time I toss or shoot one of these items into a crowd with demolishers, the demolishers' buttons are all immediately set off.

  15. Nevertheless, quitting a game due to one simple change almost seems a bit petty to me. Perhaps there were other changes that they cannot currently recall that they were also not a fan of- a snowball effect if you will. If you get married to any system in an alpha game, then you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
  16. No offense, but really, this is what would make you quit? To each their own, but it is obvious that your loyalty is lacking.
  17. It states under the Perception attribute that, among other things, it increases the damage of salvaging tools. I have not found this to be the case. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

What I meant was on the right-hand side you would have your currently equipped attire, and to the left of that would be an equal amount of slots that you could place an equivalent type of outfit respectively; you would gain no buffs from outfits in these slots, maybe not even the vanity, it would just be extra storage space for outfits. That way it would be a little less of a hassle (in terms of inventory space) if you wanted to switch between outfits. Perhaps instead of going into the whole "negative feedback" you could try to be constructive? Not everything is so black and white. In a civil manner you should illustrate the "issue" that you have with the current alpha, inform the reader why you are not a fan of said system, and offer a solution or a possible alternative. Also, handy tip, don't write text walls like the one above. The devs never read those; they simply don't have the time. Try to limit it to a bulky paragraph at the most. (i.e. about half the size of the one you produced.)
  20. They may have one point. Sounds a bit modded territory here, but perhaps a "vanity" section for outfits would be nice, to go alongside your currently equipped outfit. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Can we get a petting zoo POI in the game?
