You find rocks in the trash? I dont think I find them in garbage ever.
You have interesting loot tables

added benefit should also be a larger storage area, like 2x a bicycle/mini bike

I think having easy water access removed adds an interesting twist to the game.
When I first started playing in A6 I'd die from food or water issues. I dont think thet has happened since A12 for me.
Food, water, and ammo are way too abundant on normal loot settings for my taste.

That should be how insane difficulty starts players out by default. Broken leg care of the Duke, middle of the wasteland, no starting items. Maybe even half hunger/thirst.
YES!!! Definitely. Also, be under the effects of drunk/stunned when you spawn in for maximum disorientation lol

the concept of a laptop for $400 with 16GB of ram was the "say what" bit.
No way you are getting any laptop at that price point that will run 7d2d in a playable state.

above the 200 - 400$ price range (IMO, period) should have at least 16GB of ram.
what are you smoking?

I have been playing at least a couple times a week for years and haven't had any issues with split stack, nor has there been an update for a good 6ish months aside from some twitch stuff, so it must be a change you made unintentionally.

I play dead is dead. no respawn. So for me it was knowing I had no other option than to jump and break my leg. I was looking for a real challenge hence the wasteland/burnt map.
Knowing I had to somehow crawl out of there to get enough wood to make a basic structure was really frightening. Very little wood/fiber in the wasteland so that first hour is pretty tense with a broken leg lol
Oh I also forgot to mention Spawn is turned up 3x vanilla so its thick with undead.

I made a custom map that is mostly wasteland and burnt forest.
Spawn in....
and I'm 30' up in a tree in the wasteland.
Only way to go is down...

later I have a broken leg and I'm staring at a land mine ahead of me.
This is hands down the worst 1st spawn/start I have ever had. lol
What's yours?1 -
I am a stealth/ranged build and I can count the times I have used heavy armor on 1 hand. I hate the speed reduction.
Light armor or medium with full movement mods, or at the very least no speed reduction

If you can have a mobile meth lab in an rv surely we can do the same in 7d2d.
I would love a modular system like they use in Rust. That would be super cool, or give you the ability to attach a trailer for additional crafting station storage

Damn that was intense! Nice work

It is true that stacks aren't a problem with most items, but some items do end up with multiple stacks. Even a couple spaces saved is useful. I don't think we need to add more spaces and I definitely don't want to remove spaces when not using the perk. This would say least give since value. Maybe it could just be in addition to the current effect. Slight improvement to make it a bit more valuable.
I can see a good reason for wanting more especially for things like bandages, but at the same time, those things are that way for balance sake and not realism. I mean you can have 5000 wood and build an entire house with a single stack of wood, but only 5 bandages?
It's all because of balance. I think in a PVP situation it becomes too powerful if someone was packing 2x the first aid kits in a single hot key as their opponent.0 -
Funny, I always notice things like blinking constant reminders, and this has never once bothered me or have I noticed it.
Are you using mods or something? Mine doesnt blink at all.

I rarely have issues with stacks, its always about different item types for me.

check the tools section of the forum
Teragon is the best tool for A20 currently in my opinion.

I put in about 40hrs with some friends and then I got bored. The games progression plateaus pretty quickly and it gets repetitive gameplay wise. Very fun parkour and combat, but the constantly replacing of weapons due to breakage is pretty annoying.

I challenge anyone to make a bow from GRASS and some sticks IRL and get anything resembling a tight spread on shots.
Expectations vs reality.
Something that shoddy is literally breaking down little by little with every shot.

Every bow in this game will have different flight mechanics based on projectile speed. that will completely alter the drop/flight path from bow to bow. Once you get a crossbow, headshots become incredibly easy because of the lack of drop until you get 10-20m or more out depending on your quality.
And yes, your bow skill 100% affects your aiming. Maybe try reading the description of the skills and notice the reticule size change with skill level/movement/bow quality.
Your frustration is making you blind to what we are saying.

I am in the universe of a guy that had 1000 hrs in game since A6. like Meganoth said, as you get better bows/crossbows headshots get much easier. As you level you bow skill your aim speed and your hit radius gets much better.
The difference between how easy to aim a primitive bow and get a head shot vs. a nice crossbow is night and day.
Low level bows absolutely suck in this game and they should. You need a place to go equip effective wise when you get better gear . That is my assumption about low level bows. They would be way overpowered otherwise.

I definitely miss shots at close range, but at night in the wasteland, I level up by sniping with my bow/crossbow while sneaking. I can 1 shot most non feral/radiated enemies with a headshot once my sneak powers are leveled and my critical hit maxed.

I can't remember which game it is. Might be Scum. But I remember playing a survival game where when you fall or take damage there is a chance that fragile things in your backpack break. I would much rather see that happen vs no empty jars in A21, but I am sure that involves a huge system coding workload vs. simply removing the jar spawn once a liquid is used.

Ya I am so ready to play and I literally have every survival game on steam with a 80% or higher rating and 7D2D is pretty much the only genre of possibilities I keep coming back to. The only other game I really love to a similar degree is Rust, but there is no real SP.
Recently made a solo server and WOW is it weird running around with no one.0 -
Forget jars, let's talk rocks

I play with a lootable persistent corpse mod and crawlers usually have rocks/clay/sand on them which makes perfect sense given their method of locomotion
