  1. *************************************** need much more info. output logs from server when this is happening and output logs from the clients when this happens. you stated you running biggest map.. provide the size of this map and also - did you try a smaller map. could be the servers size of the map is too large to run smooth. usually anything larger then 10k may cause this as that is why we support up to 10k but we have seen 10k maps bog down servers if the poi spawns are set to a high number.. many factors involved. where is the server or are you creating it yourselves (not renting)? can you all play p2p together? also provide copy of the server config (you can XXX out the passwords) Thanks QA Tester-unholyjoe ***************************************

  3. i wont say it will or wont as many computer react differently but my windows 10 is very old version (by my choice). 2022-09-30T20:23:24 0.028 INF OS: Windows 10 (10.0.16299) 64bit i do not have any issues with 7dtd and havent since i have been playing it and as a tester.

IF i understand your dilemma correctly. if you placed down a sleeping bag as you stated, then there is the issue and this is by design. the game will not let a quest be operated when a bedroll is placed on the property by a player. this is to protect players who have made a base with a poi and dont get accidentally reset by another player who may not know they are using it as a base. so if you were to control said poi and set up as a base (even if temp) and someone else had the quest as well and if he/she clicked on the rally it would reset the poi and you would lose all you had there and then you would be here complaining about it... right so that is what we dont want to happen and why it disables the poi from being questable until the player vacates and picks up the bedroll. also i will point out that the bedroll makes the difference so changing blocks or adding some will not stop this (or should not at least on vanilla game) so remember if you have a storage chest full of stuff.. you will want to relocate it off of the poi property or lose it with a reset. this is if i understand what you are talking about.

  6. *************************************** 1. the link above leads you to the page on how and what to report. 2. wheres the beef (like output log of client and or server) 3. but per #2... if it happens on a specific server, then the issue is obviously with that server and not a bug in the game. (you will need to deal with the server owner on this) good luck and let us know what the issue was and how it is fixed (if they fix it) i will place this in the cant repro thread as you have already stated it only happens on one server.   7. a lot has been re-balanced and a lot is still being re-balanced. my personal take on it is simple.... the game is not ridiculously re-balanced to where you die quicker... but you do have to work to live (hopefully) and not order out for those door dash meals in the game. and seriously... there will be those who these changes will not affect and thats where modding comes in if its not hard enough. (but that just my thoughts)
  8. that does explain it all. so if the devs change things to up the ante to a survival game... you basically want an offset to make it counter the change... hmmm sounds like playing american football in reverse only mode. you will never win nor advance.
  9. precisely... thanks the game is about survival not living on a cruise ship sailing the bahamas... (and no i am not saying we will have cruise ships) BUT... if that is how some want to play, they can always turn off spawns and turn on creative mode. after all, thats why we have those options. and also... they can find or create mods as well. ALSO... "Define "plenty." It often sounds like you guys don't actually play your own game." well hell the jigg is up, i guess i have to purchase 7dtd just so i have to play it now. of course that was me joking but yeah... 14K+ hrs here and that wasnt from playing other games (which i do as well).

  12. precisely... voxel games have to treat a completely destroyable world a whole lot differently then that of a static map game. it is more extensive in computing all changes as quick as possible but there is always many factors and many computer scenarios that affect this. if our game was not destroyable to the extent that it is, we wouldnt see this issue but right now, its the price for being fully voxel and destroying (barring sky and bedrock obviously).

  14. as i was already doing a video showing this i see where jugg has commented. as he says there are variences with low level items but as i show with my level 1 bow and no perks nor mods.. i one shot them with no issue. you can drop console and type showhits 1 to turn a tracer on so you can see where you are actually hitting. showhits <time> <size> Shows the impact location of weapons. Size is the width in cm. Suggest starting with size .05 Time is in seconds, how long the hit markers are displayed. Default = 10.
  15. its not a question as to when they are coming but more of what alpha build they want to play in. they have been here since a17. as for conflicting comments.. always watch the front page and WHEN something is confirmed either way, then you will know. lots of rotten grapes on the grape vines.

  20. please read (much more detailed info is needed) the screen shot merely shows you have an issue (it does not tell us what the issue is).. the real help is the files described in the link i provided.
  21. please read to see what all is needed for help. also, the screen shot does not have any errors in it that could cause the issue you described. Yellow WRN are debug info for devs and not Red ERR or NRE that could be the culprit.

  23. it has to be unobstructed so no roofs or windows above it. we built a room to place it in but no roof so zombies didnt get fascinated with it or random flying vomit. most time i place it in middle of of my roof top.
  24. to me the rare aspect of the dew collector is mostly that... it may or may not be rare that you will have the dew collector very first thing in game.. as for the components needed.. the filter is sold at any trader and or as a quest reward and also a very low loot rate to find as for the other ingredients, they are merely loot and or harvest things to get the needed polymars and a couple other items. in my play thru test with a friend.. we managed to buy the filter on day 2 (for us the slowest part was collecting all the polymars) and selling everything we looted to get the dukes to buy the filter (priorities... bullets gear or water filter) we chose the filter as top priority. we did do a lot of drinking from water puddles so-to-speak and drinking the murky waters if we found them. so for us, we started to equalize survival with the first dew collector and after we had 2, we were ready for the killing spree. the game is not impossible and some hard core players will most likely claim there is no threat or the change doesnt affect them. to each his/her own... objective of the game is to enjoy it. while there are aspects i dont like (none of which are in any topics lately) i just learned to adapt and over come the obstacles and bash some heads in while playing.
  25. as this is not a full fledged sim... the dew collector works equally well in ALL biomes. so fear not or are you referring to something else?
