  1. In all honesty, 16gb is becoming obsolete like 8gb is, 32 is becoming more needed. 16gb is enough if you just plan on playing the game with minor web browsing/discord though.
  2. Yeah this is known, I believe it's been fixed for A21 if I recall correctly; thanks for letting us know
  3. Going over cleaning in detail: https://youtu.be/S3pIZCAqZs0 If you don't have them, you'll need these https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 Last but not least, update or reinstall your GPU driver. Reverify your game files twice in a row.
  4. Yeah I haven't seen the issue since i confirmed the fix to be fixed, but never know.
  5. That should have been fixed... might be a regression. If you folks don't mind, what mods do you have in the bladed weapons/other details? SP, server, P2P as the host or client, or all of the above?
  6. In all honesty, MSI afterburner and Rivatuner are both issues for a lot of crashes. I've given up on both of those programs as a whole. I've got a Zotac card, its software is a little lackluster but it's minimalistic and hasn't caused any issues anyway. Not sure if it'll work with other cards or not
  7. Oh guess I lost the flow of the conversation. Yeah local host is always admin, though I'm sure there's a way to disable that. Cheat mode is a general creative mode option, which if I recall correctly lets everyone have access to the creative menu.
  8. Okay well if this is looking like it is, here's some things to check out. Go to the registry editor, copy and paste this into the path box Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps Delete that folder. Note when you start the game turn persistent profiles off if it's on. To be sure, use the game cleaning tool to wipe game settings Delete the admins file Delete serverconfig xml Verify the game integrity twice through steam in a row Try a new game with one or more of the friends and see if the issue persists. If not, load up the other game and see if this resolved it.
  9. To add, blacklist isn't an admin list, putting an account in there means "this client is not allowed to join the server"
  10. Found in the serveradmin.xml file: Just remove anyone listed there, or change the permission level. Or, in-game, go to the console and enter "admin remove Jugginator", for example.
  11. I can safely say if you launch 7 days and it immediately starts using 14gb of ram, there's something wrong. Mine only uses 1.1 GB working set and 2.9GB commit on launch. If you mean after generating a new RWG, close and restart the game after generating a new world. So, standby memory you're seeing is memory that programs frequently/recently use, it is not memory taken up and that cache is instantly overwritten if it's needed. That's completely normal, and is different from a "memory leak", and is actually Windows doing that to make your frequently used programs snappier/load faster. Case in point, I had 21GB in my Standby. Loaded 7 days into a world, it ate up the Standby, exited the game, I am now at 15GB.
  12. I will say that using a custom page file (virtual memory) is a bad idea in any modern Windows OS, since Windows 7 I believe, especially with Unity games. It causes all sorts of issues, leave it on automatic and it will do its job if you need more.
  13. Truffles available at 3 different traders every 15 days in a new "Today's Special" menu with rotating flavors?
  14. Hm. Do you have a custom page file set? If so, turn it to automatic and reboot. If you don't know, it's on automatic. Does running the game under admin help? If you haven't tried yet. Right click the exe and run as admin

  16. Looking at your crash stack trace... maybe try downloading and installing this vc package. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

  18. Are there any other games that run okay? Open a command prompt under admin and run this: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Run windows update twice (click check for updates twice, even if it says no updates are available) Disable any antivirus software you have (just for testing, trying to narrow down a dying GPU or bad system software or something at this point) FurMark > Home (geeks3d.com) Try running that stress test, do it at max settings and resolution. You can run multiple of them at once to really stress it out (I think you can with this product). You can try running in Vulcan or GLcore too, although DX11 is where we want to be.

  20. Download a fresh GPU driver Download DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.5.5 (guru3d.com) Put the GPU driver and DDU on your desktop somewhere Reboot into safe mode (quite a few ways to do this, quickest is to hold shift and click Restart, then advanced start up options and follow the trail to boot into safe mode (choose non-networking) Run DDU to uninstall the driver (follow the default settings there) Reboot normally Install the new GPU driver

  22. Yeah FSR 1 is rather lackluster; evidently, they made a lot of changes in FSR 2 that make it way better.
  23. The game doesn't like something about the "Pin recipes manager" in the character save, likely something went wrong with the mod and corrupted the character/player save. I'd go to the war of the walkers post in the mod section, but it's likely the player save is needing to be deleted.
  24. Question is, is that machine sole dedicated to you or is it shared by other customers? I would check the logs during the lags, and see if you have any warning/errors popping up a lot.
