  1. Though, to be honest, someone said on Steam that once imported into Unity they'll look worse...
  2. I was thinking the same... and what about the radio?
  3. I see. Thanks for the reply. Just know that there's a lot of people on Steam who apparently find the current farming implementation "not worth it" or way too harsh. My idea was that with a little more balancing boosting the first (say) three levels of the perk a bit, a lot of people would find it more "attractive" to invest into.
  4. @Gazz Is there any kind of balancing planned vs. the current iteration of farming for A21? Thanks
  5. I don't see your point, sorry. Maybe be I misunderstood, but are you saying that in your group only one person opens containers? So you never spread out in a big POI and always wait for the PER guy to come open any container you find?
  6. Someone on Steam posted this video. I was wondering what's really happening here... is that a bug or some kind of glitch? My take is that for some reason the chicken is stuck "inside" the chair and the AI pathing can't happen anymore, so it'll start cycling through the different idle animations. What do you think happened?
  7. Yeah, there was a discussion on this on Steam and I mentioned it here on the A21 dev diary. The "drone guy" has taken note of it, and he said, "I'll see what I can do". So I guess we'll see... hopefully he can find a way to fix the "issue". I don't like the idea, unless they make that bandit in your example stronger. Think of it. It doesn't make much sense that a run-of-the-mill bandit has special or even legendary gear.
  8. This is also supported by some POI I've seen which seemed to tell this kind of story... so, I guess you can't be much farther from "the truth".
  9. My guess is, since it's Prime working on it, an extension or variation of the treasure hunt quests or buried supply quests.
  10. Well, I had a quick look searching for "role play" and got some results (just a few pages) and most of them were from a few years ago. The most recent was from this year on May. I guess it's a niche gameplay and not many are doing it by the looks of it. Or maybe they just play it this way between friends and family, so they don't post there because they already know each other.
  11. Please post in the Meeting Room sub-forum for these kinds of queries.
  12. Yeah, I understand. I was talking about that. If water works as... water, that opens up a lot of "water gameplay" that has been impossible until now.
  13. Everything... but the water rework tickles my curiosity most of all. If done well, it could open a whole new "dimension" for gameplay (e.g.: actually being able to travel/use bodies of water, submerged POIs and such...). Of course I know I shouldn't expect much, but still, leaving behind the current "molasses water" is already great.
  14. @Matt115 won't be happy that they'll be covering the skeleton, I'm telling you!
  15. Sorry for the "nitpicking", but Open World doesn't mean no goal, open world means the game is not linear, and you can go wherever you want whenever you want, that's all. You probably wanted to say that 7D2D is a Sandbox game.
  16. Years ago, I asked @madmole about the possibility of a flamethrower turret... it was the alpha when they first introduced turrets, I think. I don't understand what the problem is with adding that type of turret to the game. It would be great! The ammo could be the gas tanks we use for vehicles, and the burning effect would be so cool to watch during a Blood Moon night!
  17. No, seriously, 1.5K hours and you're still playing like this?? Most people who get killed by dogs/wolves are the ones who are always running around all the time: if you run all the time, you lose stamina left for the fight, PLUS you also have little to no time to hear the warning growl of the wolf/dog until you find yourself face to face with the animal. I'm really disappointed with you @Diragor! I expected more from you!
  18. No, you're right... currently we have no real goal/story but the "goal" to stay alive. Problem is, the story is the last one that can be added, since you can only have a story after you add NPCs (not only traders), you can only have a story after you add Bandits (they're working on the first iteration right now) and finally you can add a story only after all the game mechanics are where the devs think they should be. An educated guess would be at least two more years of development before we can see any of that.
  19. Don't worry! All that work has already been done by the armor smith! Also, if you really were in a battle, you wouldn't have neither the time nor the attention to listen to the "sounds" your armor makes when braking down. Nothing special. Feels like a thicker jacket that has not buttons! Here's one!
  20. The reality though, which makes both you guys "wrong", is that no skill is needed to wear armor. As long as you button up correctly and don't put an arm where the leg should be, you're set. I would say that the only factor which could be considered experience with armor, is getting used to it. The first time I wore a hand-made, true-to-history, chain-mail jacket, I didn't need ANY time at all to get used. So, basically what I'm saying is they should completely remove certain skills from LBD systems and put the bonuses directly ON the object (in this case, the armor).
