Is it possible for the user to choose where the game files are? For instance, I have multiple games under a folder called 7DTD on my C drive. If I wanted to join your server I would like add a folder with the game files to play on your server rather than it touch my game under steam.

I can't play RH so wondering if these will ever make it out as separate modlets?

I will think to ask who is hosting when I watch again.

As you are into maps, have you heard about maps larger than 4k not working on a server? Was watching a streamer last night and he just rented a server (forgot to ask which one) and he said he had to use a 4k map as they told him anything larger wouldn't work right now. Some glitch maybe. Was wondering if your maps were different. He has used Nitrogen but don't know if he tried uploading it to his server.

Yes. It says (v0.447) at top. I have selected border biome as water. That was the previewMap.png in your output folder you showed above correct?

How do I get the map to show like that? I picked water as border biome but it shows a full land map. No water around the outside.

I know you wanted it as an option but for now you could try this. From way it was explained to me and having done a few maps you need to make the import_HM.png file in resources all one solid color. I also think the number corresponds to the world depth. So for example if you use R=90 G=90 B=90 to color the map then the ground depth will be about 90. I am still in process of getting the biomes straightened out though. Damocles explained it to me in an earlier post so you might have to read back a bit. Damocles can explain all this better.

Good idea if it is not hard to do. I often change a few of the settings for each map to the same thing (EG the co-op spawn and trader near towns). If personal settings could be saved that would be awesome. - - - Updated - - - Thank you will give a try.

Damocles, you might not remember but you helped me make a perfectly flat map. The thing is I don't seem to be able to make one and still have all biomes in it. Is there a setting to have my flat world and still have random biomes of snow, desert, burnt, wasteland, and forests? I would like the desert and snow random...not just snow in north and desert in south. Also no big deal but I just noticed in the biomes setting that wasteland is misspelled as wasteand a couple of times.

Did latest update break Nitrogen? Keep getting stuck on loading map.

So if we use Nitrogen and copy teh main.ttw from A18 then all is good? I miss my flat map.

I had thought I had seen a streamer already do this. When someone made a donation they could spawn in either something to help him. (food, resource, weapon) or something to hurt (zombie, bear, dog) Maybe it was a dream.

So just to be clear, if I use the one for servers on my home server then there is no chance that I or anyone that joins my server will get banned somehow for using it? Or anyone using it on their own rented server. No one will get a ban for it? The only chance someone may get a ban is if they use it on client and join a server that doesn't have it?

When I run the new version I only get 1_waterZones.png. Am doing exact same way as I did for v2 wich gave me the other files.

I thought I saw it mentioned that the map could just be put on a disk/flashdrive and copied that way. I imagine he would just have to add it to the Generatedworld folder where his other ones are.

I do it but I have my map perfectly flat...no hills no mountains. right now I have ground level at 175. I wouldn't know how to do it with a map that has variation already.

Damocles, is there a way to change the output folder? I would like to be able to save my maps automatically to my generated world folder instead of having to copy them. Maybe what you have now is default with option user can change it. I make so many it would save me time lol
