  1. There are already new skeleton remains models, both picturing animals and Zds. I would think that is enough, but an additional bunch of them wouldn't hurt. Those you showed are a bit amateurish compared to what we've been shown for a20. Right now the standards are higher than that.
  2. Or a very obvious and extremely readable prop, like a written note in a container or a drawed text on a pole, tree, fence, stand, bin, etc that can't be destroyed/respawns until player reads it. Much much cheaper that way and the edge cases are already in (satchel).
  3. Exactly. That's both of them. Thank you for the clarification. Yes, I was talking about the sprite one, they track correctly but don't show the sprite. Nice to see they are ticketed. The descriptions are still missing some animals like snake and boar though. I wouldn't know where to unlock each. Edit: I'm of course assuming that these issues haven't been adressed yet in a20, if they were then ignore this post.
  4. I think you are overreacting. TFP always* stated that their vision was a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena with flying bears and chibi entities that explode in Confetti when killed. It was talked about in the A20 Dev series 5 (5th stream of this year). They also confirmed* that most of the dev team lads are in the process of locking themselves up in content, which might prove faatal in the long run. * : aka TM. Statement that will become true real soon,soonish or mostly sooner.

  6. Also, I forgot to tell you that each piece of the new 4-piece armour will have heat and cold resistance/isulation to various degrees. That was one of the reasons of deleting clothing in the first place, no clutter and meaningful pieces that can always become many sets . If those resistances will be a fixed value per piece/across pieces or a varied one, we don't know yet.

Madmole explained this in a dev stream back in 2020 so I can explain it to you as per the original design (the basic idea won't change, but the effects might be different in the final version): 1- A set is 4 pieces: Head, body, arms and legs . 2-There are 2 things you need to think about separately: individual piece buffs and full set buffs. -Individual piece buffs example: Farmer Outfit: Body armour individual bonus: QUALITY 1 (grey): adds 10% chance to harvest an extra crop. QUALITY 2 (orange): adds 20% chance to harvest an extra crop. QUALITY 3 (yellow): adds 30% chance to harvest an extra crop. QUALITY 4 (green): adds 40% chance to harvest an extra crop. QUALITY 5 (blue): adds 50% chance to harvest an extra crop. QUALITY 6 (purple): adds 100% chance to harvest an extra crop. Hat/headset individual bonus: Adds a 10% chance to find a seed in loot. Also, adds a 10% to harvest a seed when harvesting. Don't know the details of the quality level for the hat, it might be something in the lines of 1%/2%/3%/4%/5%/10% depending on quality level. Boots: Decrease stamina use when sprinting in grass by 10%. It might also be quality-affected. Gloves: Increase Rifle damage by 10%. It might also be quality-affected. Then, there is the Full Set Bonus: Carrying food items never encumber you. Increase armour rating by 10. Not based on quality. You will get the full set bonus when every piece is from the same outfit, period. If you use THE FULL SET of the farmer outfit, you get the full bonus of the farmer outfit, if you use 1 piece from any other set, you won't get the full set bonus, but you get the individual buff of that different piece of armour plus one from each and everyone left in your body from the farmer outfit or any other outfit, obviously. You will never get the full set bonus if you use different kinds of pieces. It MUST be the same set, because the bonus is pretty hefty for any one of them.
  9. That is not it, this is a bit different. In 19.6 (No headgear and completely naked with no glasses or cigars or anything ) you can only track: LEVEL 1 OF ANIMAL TRACKER: Chickens and Rabbits (green tracks + they show on compass). LEVEL 2 OF ANIMAL TRACKER: Deers (for anything else, the only thing broken is the compass icon //edit: and the map icon//, because the perk works fine and it DOES detect them as seen in the green tracks timer, it just doesn't show them). LEVEL 3 OF ANIMAL TRACKER: Nothing (It works because the green timer starts when predators are close, it just doesn't show them on the compass //edit: nor on the map//, the only thing broken is the compass icon //edit: and the map icon). So... @SylenThunder , shall I report this issue in a brand new ticket? Also, the description of levels 2 and 3 doesn't show exactly which animals it tracks. For example, there's no mention of animals like snakes or boars at all.
  10. We did talk about power armour A LOOOOONG time ago in a19 dev diary. But it was never promised and it is certainly not "planned planned".
  11. You are right. He did mention "power armor". It would be nice to have a "gas powered" armour that behaves like the Fallout 4 one, but in reality.... is it really the best thing to do when we will have full armour sets that give us huge bonuses to whatever rol we might decide? Also, it might surpass the height of the camera as it would need to be bigger than the player, resulting in another can of worms. I sense a big NO here.
  12. According to devs' words, armour sets will be in a21, not a20. Power armour was never planned so there's nothing to scratch, but there will be plenty of buffed armours that will do amazing things I'm sure. Like fill in the taxes for us when we are out exploring.
  13. Btw, they showed a Newstand POI in the dev stream. It was just the very stand and had no magazines at all as it was totally ransacked, but it looked like it was your "platonic" small POI anyway.
  14. @Kinyajuu I don't know if this question got through in the Dev Stream: Will there be more RWG map size options in both ends of the spectrum? Like 2k x 2k and 4k x 4k ones for low end PCs or maybe even for "full-landscape-no-cities" players . And/or 16k and 32k sizes (with "RAM's gonna get bad" warnings) for crazy PC rigs (or gameplay future proofing).
  15. @faatal some time ago you showed "Bubbles" in action. What are the placeholder plans for it in a20? What is that entity supposed to do compared to an ordinary cop or barfing vulture?

  19. @Kinyajuu , Will there be 16k x 16k maps and 32k x 32k maps in the future? Some of us wouldn't mind a warning of a 30 minute-1 hour generation if the result is 10.000 hours of endless Jen's boo... I mean POIs and exploration.

Yes, while basic animation is in, Idk if it's first person-ship-worthy as it was designed to be a misc movement like chopping wood in Skyrim and might cause clipping with some car elements, like window borders or roof/rear at value 0 or 0 ish. The rest sounds correct, as long as nothing did change from a19 code-wise in that regard.
  22. Unfortunately first person needs polished driving animations an clipping testing. A limited first person would be odd and overall a bit bad. No more than 3 weeks to get it done with 1 animator that actually has the time.There's always shamway up the road in a21 if you don't mind stealing some mates for the task.

  25. Well I would set it up to change 2 times a day, not 12. My shrink is still waiting for an appointment. Not sure if it's due to the weather though.
