You can just press the 'R' button and it will empty the dew collector all at once. Press 'E' again to close it.

While they're working on all of this new stuff, I hope they address and fix all of the bugs in the current Alpha: While driving, your vehicle hits an invisible wall and elevates into the air or bounces back. Sometimes it keeps happening and a restart of the game is required. Suddenly dropping through the ground. Zombies clipping into the ground, you can't see them, only to suddenly jump out of the ground right in front of you, hitting you while they're at it. The ridiculous reach of the Zs. The Zs ability to hit you through solid walls. Vehicles and the drone simply disappearing. Drone pathing...it's pretty bad. These are all off the top of my head. I don't mean to and I hope nobody takes it this way...I am not trying to hijack this thread. My point is that while they are adding new content, which is great, I hope that simultaneously they are addressing the bugs that exist now.

7 Days is the best $20 I've ever spent. I started playing on A19 and have hundreds of hours into the game. I think it is a great game. Are the graphics cutting edge? No, not even close, but graphics are not how I judge a game. It's the fun factor and replayability that is what I value and IMO, 7 Days has that in spades.

Intruder in my Single Player Game?

So I'm playing my game, single player like I always do, and all of a sudden I notice a message on the left side of my screen saying <someone> has joined. Then the message faded out quickly. I'm thinking, WTH??? A little bit later I see a player running across the street a bit away from me. This character was not a zombie. It stopped for a second, then took off running again. Is this even possible that someone can join your single player game without you allowing it or setting up a server, which I don't know how to do? Anybody else seen behavior like this? Weird.

Yeah, I've had this happen to me twice. In both cases I had to use "jd clear" to be able to deploy a new one. The bad part about this is I had a L6 drone but Creative Menu would only give me a L3. Don't know why that was. Definitely an annoying bug when your stuff just disappears.

I've had the missing drone issue before but that wasn't the case in this instance. It was just really bizarre.

Can a game save become somehow corrupted so that it affects FPS? I was on day 58, driving through the pine forest on my motorcycle when all of a sudden it was like I hit an invisible wall and I bounced back. Trying to go forward again, it happened again to where I'm floating in the air, then finally came back to the ground. I proceed again and then it happens again and again and again. By this time the game was unplayable because it was a slide show. I hit F8 to see FPS and it was at about 3. So I quit the game and restarted. Same thing. Then I quit the game, rebooted my PC, and restarted the game. Same thing. Finally, I started a new game to see if I'd get the same thing but it was fine. I then went back to the troubled one and I was still getting only about 3 FPS. Obviously unplayable so that play though was done. It seems something happened to a file(s) somehow to make this happen. Has anybody else ever experienced this?

I recently had the same thing. My horde base is elevated 13 blocks high with a single block path 13 blocks long. For support, I put a column in the middle of the path. The Zs would stop there and start beating on the block directly above the support column. I really don't know why. So, for the next blood moon, I removed the support column after making sure the path wouldn't collapse and that Z behavior stopped. Clearly it has something to do with the column but I don't know why.

You need to complete 7 missions to advance to the next tier.

True but I wouldn't imagine it would be too difficult to offer the user a choice: "You have smelted materials in the forge. Picking it up would cause you to lose these materials. Continue? Yes/No." Without that I still think it's a bad design decision. Excellent idea! That is the solution. Thanks very much.

Yeah, that's 50 stacks of iron and 33.33 stacks of stone. I don't know that one can realistically do that in one game day. I've mined a full game day before and came away with about half of that, even with mining perks maxed, using the buffs, with Q5 or Q6 gear. I'd like to know the secret too!

I wish they would give the 4x4 some road clearance. It's kind of silly that the 4x4 doesn't have any extra clearance. It gets hung up on the smallest of obstacles. The motorcycle does "off road" way better than the 4x4, and it's a street bike!

OK, thanks. I figured it was hosed with no chance of recovery. I'll just start a new playthrough.

So I paused my game last night and forgot about it. Overnight, my computer rebooted, obviously it had some Windows updates. Today I open my game. It is still Day 20, the map is still open where I've been, but I am at the original spawn point with the game telling me to do the tutorial quest. All of my gear is gone...everything, yet it's still Day 20. It's like my character has been reset to Day 1 but it's Day 20. Has anyone every encountered this and if so, does anyone know if there is any way to recover it?

Concur. I've had at least a half dozen quests where a button didn't work, therefore the final zombies wouldn't spawn and I couldn't finish the quest. I learned that destroying the button is the way to go although that is painful if all you have to do it with is a stone axe. Better than failing the quest though.
