Zombie Bear melee range?

I set up two hatches and uh... the big ugly bear was able to reach in and took out my head.

Nasty.

 

What's the swiping range of this truck?

Where you right up against the 2nd one, or were you backed up from it.

I would think the have around double what a zombie does if they lunge. So like 2 squares or so.

 

Does anyone know if there is a hot key in dev mode to show hit boxes?

I won't get near melee on a bear until maxed steel armor, brawler and hopped up on beer.

Then I'll punch his head off. 

 

Otherwise?  Machineguns from a distance.  (or from height.  5+ blocks.)

 

(melee them without maxed stuff, is "hold my beer, I want this Darwin Award")  😜

Gotta love Darwin Awards!

 

I usually just use a pistol or 44.  It doesn't take many headshots to kill a bear and unless it's right next to me when I start shooting, it never reaches me.  No need for a machine gun for them.  😀

My guess is 2 blocks plus whatever distance they glitch through the hatch. lol.
