Alpha 20 crashing

Having problems where I load into the game fine and then after a minute of being in the game it will either freeze crash and close with no bug or crash report or it will close right away without freezing. Sometimes this crash freezes the rest of my computer and sometimes it does. I have tried this both on a dedicated and private server. I have also depleted all the fixes I have managed to find online related to anything with ram and even other problems. I am currently using 16g of ram. My crash reports seem to change every time.  Any suggestions on how to fix this issues outside of having to buy more ram. Several crash logs are attached as it seems they are giving different info each crash.

If you try to re-connect to a server without restarting the game, you can have memory issues. The memory used in the first attempt doesn't release

so you're using double the memory on the second attempt. The work around is to quit the game and start again.

Does Single Player work? Do other servers work?

Unfortunately I have tried after completely closing steam and completely restarting my PC to no avail. I have also tried joining a dedicated and multiple private ones that I started up myself at different map sizes.

You start the game with a command line option "-force-feature-level 10". At the least I would try to startup without it as this was a solution for some A19 problem.

 

This also makes me want to ask: Did you clean previous save data, generated worlds and configuration? In other words, did you start the game launcher, selected the tool tab and used the last option there to clean everything (and I mean everything, all marks should be checked)

So I did try it with and without adding the command line "force-feature-level-10-0" (this is what I had put in when it had been left blank at first.) I crashed before and after trying this. Sometimes I crash while loading into the map and others I can move for about a minute before it happens.

I don't know. The game crashing sadly leaves not much evidence behind to find the cause. It is something that has to be done to exclude it from the list of possible causes. You might check the windows logfiles (start eventvwr and look for 7 days to die and Unity) if there is anything there about the crashes,

 

What do you mean with "went to all my previous saves..."? In the game launcher you can not select single saves. I'm talking about the game launcher you can start from steam, not for example the external utility mod launcher. Make sure you have the first option selected, to delete game settings. I don't think that the worlds and saves are your problem.

 

I actually did this twice, once in A19, then after the update in A20, though I think it makes no difference.

i thinks is a stupid drivers update  prob i copy the error code on google ans say it often a driver update  problem

Maybe your driver issue caused it. Update all your drivers, update Windows, exclude Steam from your antivirus are a few things you should do. If it is a corrupted save, you’ll need to start over.
