Psychodabble
So I leveled a POI on the edge of the trader protection zone and, as seen in the screenshot, a couple of debris chunks fell on the wrong side of the line. They are really tweaking my OCD and I'm hoping one of you know how to get rid of them. HELP!
Sjustus548
Oh man that sucks! I hope someone will be able to help you with that because I might have to just pack up and move to a different location lol.
Boidster
You might be able to use one of the techniques to reset that chunk. For example: (Have not tested this myself. Proceed at your own risk. Your mileage may vary. No warranty, expressed or implied. Offer not valid in South Dakota or if your name is Reginald.)

Though I appreciate the suggestion, I'm terrified to try such a thing. You see, just off camera to the left are my home and horde base...so resetting the chunk would basically be cutting off my nose to spite my face. I do have cheat mode enabled though, so if there are any dev tools or console commands that can counter the trader protection, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for. Vampirenostra
there is a ball shaped tool which makes terraforming, this one will ignore traders zone as if there was none, but be extremely careful with it as the results can't be undone or reverted! Let me switch to the game and check it for you. It is called "DEV: Terrain Remove Tool" looks like a min craft topsoil block with - sign on it DO NOT USE IT!! It only removes terrain blocks and your debris is not! So you will simply spoil your road!
Boidster
Unless you want to use the creative menu to rebuild your base after resetting the chunk, I fear you may be permanently knackered.
Kalen
You should be able to go into the xml and turn off trader protection. Then you can get rid of the debris.
