Tier 6 Trader Quests

i think there could be some more quest types

 

Bounties: Hunt bandits or survivors npc's. when you kill the target they drop the "bounty head" so you can say to the trader "yeah i got em"

 

Delivery: drop off supplies to survivors npc's or white river camps

 

recovery: kill a fallen white river courier and recover the supplies!

 

wipe out: kill off survivor npc's or Bandit camps

Escort: Take a NPC with you (preferably in a jeep) across the map to a far away campsite. If either of you dies, you fail.

 

I wish the AI was good enough for convoy ambush quest where you are charged with stopping a bandit convoy that follows a set road path and you have to mine/destroy/spike a bridge area and ambush all the bandit vehicles when they stop.

depends on if the escort can defend itself.

 

 

but maybe the bandits could send troops to you and can wait around the drop off

Definitely agree with that, I already find T5 quests to be big enough building-wise. I usually avoid Clear quests on T5 bit too repetitive. Even lower tier quests could be mixed up a bit. Build a bridge over water, or repair / fix the radio tower or something different.

Yea T5 clear is a bit much but at least it's a good way to reset a POI.

 

As for fetch....I think they want us to DO the POI's more than just circumvent them with nerdpoling and chopping our way through them. A good work around for that would be to make the fetch quest fail if you break any blocks in the poi. Just code the curiour bag to be someplace not behind anything you have to break and make any broken block autofail the quest. If you stick the object somewhere in the middle of the POI then it wont matter if you nerdpole up to the roof or not. Call it the "leave no trace you were there" clause in the quest.
