  1. I have Maps generated From the walking dead Tons and tons of water 8k 10k and 12k Tried 13k computer didn't like it sooo I'll revert back to 10k ....

    Don't forget Ocean side And the Junkyard Where the Trash people (Jadus Led ) [ATTACH=CONFIG]30315[/ATTACH] There's a few that aren't Walking dead Based but I made those for Another Person's mod.. I have uploaded screenshots of the Prison POI I posted and you commented on

    -flat terrain option in the landscape selection

    -debug scenario (all POIs are drawn in a grid, to check if they have spawned correctly)

    -speedup in the road generation (roads will need some more visual finetuning in the future)

  3. Once you 2 (mag and damoc) are in snyc & collaborating we're gonna be in RWG utopia. I can't wait. Hopefully it works with the mining mod that adds copper and zinc to make brass https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?131108-MeanCloud-s-Mining-modlet-(A18)-with-copper-zinc-and-excavators.

    It does work with the mining mod. You have to add the prefabs in the mining mod to the prefabs folder then you need to place the rwg lines into the prefab.list.txt and follow how nitrogen has it and the zinc and copper veins appear . On generation thru nitrogen

  4. Oh really? Damn, now I'm sad I shut it down and started over again. I guess I will stop it again and turn the preview off then. Thanks. How long is it supposed to take, to generate a 16k world? On average or something.

     

    takes me around 234 to 250 minutes lol but worth it :-)

  5. Can anyone playing SP 16k map share RAM usage, maybe along with a rough description of graphical settings (eg. medium, high, etc)?

     

    I have 16G, and on D1 it's at ~10G when I first spawn. But if I exit to the main menu and continue, the game reliably crashes with OOM. I assume RAM usage will increase during prolonged play, so I wonder if I should go with an 8k map.

     

    I play 16k. I have settings on medium

    When writing a prefab into prefab.txt.

     

    Finding the whole prefab size say is 45 x 17 x 45

     

    How ever the offset is -1 so No write whole co ords and the nitrogen will take the -1 into account or would I have to calculate from surface to top of prefab for that y value.

     

    What I mean is from bottom of basement that goes underground to the very top of the poi or from ground level to top of poi.

  8. Hello, I have a question please. I have a dedicated server (BlueFang) and I used this tool to make my map. How do I add the map to my server?

     

    I should mention that I did not download any of the files to my computer. I go to the site and edit the files manually. Adding a map is the most elaborate thing I've done since playing this game (if you dont count downloading mod launcher..which I'm not using).

    Pretty sure you just message the server hosts and send them the map telling them it needs to go in generated worlds. Some servers allow 100% control tho so you just search for where the generated worlds folder is via filezilla or some program like it. And as well can send a message to the server hosts asking where it is to

  9. Yes, its a lot of entries, so its easy to make a typo.

    I used to have an option to spawn all POIs in an ordered grid (the O.C.D. world).

    Have to implement that again for checking prefablists.

     

    Oh I understand typos and ofc that can happen no worries.

  10. Seems to work with your prefabs. I've successfully converted the courthouse. Did you copy all prefab files into one folder? If you still have problems, I could convert the prefabs for you... "All IN ONE (Prefabs and Modlet)" contains all POIs that need to be converted, right?

     

    Yes that is correct. Yeh I did put them all in one folder.

  11. found a small typo in your pregenerated prefablist.txt

    should be industrial;smalltown the delimiter was a comma

     

    Thats the error i got before lol.

  12. You mean from the CompoPack list?

    The list is not really well tested, unlike the vanilla POI list. So there might be some error.

     

    What error do you see?

     

    Yes the one with the compo pack. oh it stopped loading and had errorxcostum_icehouse or something(magoli) only error tho removed it and its loading great
