  1. I missed that rushing. Here's some basic information https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/glossary-m2-definition,5887.html#:~:text=2 slots.,more bandwidth than SATA%2C M. It goes over 3 types M.2 (and NVME, kinda like a turbo-M.2) are insanely fast, you can get them at a decent price (30-60$ or more) but you sacrifice storage unless ya pay more, same as sata SSDs but just a hair more expensive. They do share the PCIE data lanes/sata ports (depending on mobo and which m.2 you get), so look it up for the motherboard you choose.
  2. That's the beauty of it all (and not to just fluff AMD but it's true, AMD is rather scaleable for the future): get a mobo that you can upgrade parts on later and start at a budget you can do. My AMD rig was only 400-ish after shipping and taxes on the parts and performs well; I can upgrade it into a powerhouse later if I wish.
  3. Sounds good. Just to be clear, I was checking out Fixed SDTD-13039 Robotic drone doesn't teleport with player (Steve) so I wasn't sure if it meant all cases or not.
  4. Yeah AMD is certainly wiping the CPU market's floor with Intel's face. I was pleasantly shocked when I built a rig with a Ryzen 3 3300G and just mildly set an OC profile to overclock the APU clock on it and keep the cores a little higher; I figured I'd need to get a GPU pretty quick but... it runs 7 Days at full textures and a blend of medium and low settings at 40-45 fps outdoors and upward of 90 fps indoors. Heh, just going to keep it as is and my next full-sized tower will be the one for an Nvidia 3000 series card and grab one of the new Ryzen releases for it. Of course, it's paired with an M.2 SSD and fast ram, but both of those are pretty inexpensive now a days.
  5. A little initial pointer is that currently AMD is outdoing Intel in the CPU wars, you can get much more bang for your buck (and a stock cooler that actually is worth using lol). But I'd still stick with an Nvidia card; the 3000 series is looking pretty nice, and coming at a decent price; it will also likely cause a drop in price in older cards too soon. Water cooling isn't needed so don't worry there.
  6. I made a newer, more accurate report on this, see it here Sorry about that
  7. Ah will do @Twigg thanks. Wasn't sure if it was wanted to have the whole trace in the summary or just view it in the log.
  8. Amendment to the report: the sound isn't infinite but lasts for some time (updated report below) Summary: After the Junk Drone heals the player, the healing sound plays for quite some time after the healing animation finishes, rather than ending when the drone is done healing the player. Platform: Win 10 (Ryzen 3200G Quad core 3.8-4.0ghz | 16GB DDR4 3200 | Vega 8 | Game, OS and Steam on a M.2 SSD) Gamemode: SP Navezgane Reproduction Steps: Enter a game of choice; enter dm and cm into the console Search for and acquire a Junk Drone and either a first aid kit or first aid bandage Place (deploy) the drone down on the ground; place the medicinal item inside the drone's inventory Damage yourself a bit; observe the healing sound playing after the animation ends. Youtube video:
  9. I made a new video since the other one was longer, and discovered this isn't infinite yet it last for a decent period of time after the healing animation stops. If a corrected report is desired, I will make one.
  10. This is another short video further showcasing the targeting issues I mentioned.
  11. A little tip: Just because you see something doesn't mean you have to kill it even with things completely useless against it. Dire wolves and mountain lions will lose interest in a chase with you after a short distance; all you have to do is hold shift and sprint in the opposite direction for a bit. These animals are easy to deal with when you have the right weaponry.
  12. Forgotten to add detail: This reproduces with vanilla prefabs as well.
  13. **Gamemode: Playtesting MP Client/MP Host
  14. Null Reference Repro Update: I went and double checked, the null reference error will reproduce by simply: Enter a game, go into dm press ctrl + num * Spawn in a trader Exit the game

    Visual Glitch

I forgot to add that I think it would get pretty annoying in a couple scenarios: Go to heal an ally and a zombie's hitbox crosses vision, healing the Z instead. In combat, accidentally hit right click healing the zombie and having to wait for the animation to finish to heal yourself. Someone trolling by using a massive amount of first aid kits on, say, a demo or something
  16. Retested this after the update, couldn't find anything broken after that (fixed)
  17. Just noticed this got pushed out to a19b178, so this issue persists in that build as well.
  18. Opps... it's late, HERE is the video with the comparison
  19. Confirmed in my Navez run in b4 this happens to zombies as well.
  20. Yeah I know it. The moments are so rare (some of us have seen it) it's damn near impossible to reproduce since.. it's rare heh. For now, putting the "tough guy shirt" on is easier to test that stuff out.
  21. I've learned this the hard way, but being in god mode prevents XP gain from player-applied debuff kills for whatever reason.
  22. Yw! Glad some of the files were okay
  23. Sorry =/ This can happen on rare circumstances when your power went out, or you disconnected from a server while the game/server just happens to be changing your saved files. I am unaware of any fixes...
  24. %appdata%/7daystodie/saves (type this into the run box or in file explorer) Go to your game, youll see files with the .bak extension on them. Remove the same files without the .bak, and simply rename the .bak ones and remove the .bak. Do this in the player folder too.
