  1. Actually that "never gonna try" is a section I look through and have gotten a few bug reports out of when further information is provided (or, sometimes when provided no information some can be a missing link/hint for another bug), I was rather confused when you just made a new ticket in response to me asking. And about logs... so many bugs not enough hours in a day, if a log is posted we can quickly tell if it's vanilla or not (and reduce the likelihood it's a wild goose chase). It's not like I was going to ignore your ticket, but I just would have like to have that little bit more information, it wasn't and wouldn't have been ignored, in fact I had plans tomorrow to check it out.
  2. Confirmed and reported per A20 B28, A19.1 B8, A18.4 Although, interestingly, this was way more in depth than at first glance. Had nothing to do with a tunnel or blocks, simply placing hatches or doors on the ground then entering CR causes this. Just as well, it affected various lootable blocks you find on the ground/road. Interesting bug, thanks.
  3. Especially seeing how a flying pebble also produces the same result with drywall lol
  4. Hah lol I'm the same way. I like crisp, clean textures and none of the jazz. Shaders are nice to have up there, too. I will say that 60 FPS is so good to have, and anything above that is vital for twitch-shooters but other than that, it just gives you a buffer to drop FPS and stay above 60 I guess lol. But, I do like keeping my refresh/fps the same to reduce screen tearing. Although I hate the input lag 99.99% of games cause with their native V-sync, so I never use it. And you're welcome. The first one in particular showcases it, the second is more on the refresh rate.
  5. Definitely got for an NVME/M.2 SSD. My load times in 7 Days are mere seconds versus a few minutes on an HDD. And it helps with performance. Resolution and size are 100% up to your own eyes. Personally, I don't like 2k and up as a long-term play resolution because too much pretty and sharpness kills my eyes after a bit, I like a happy 720 - 1080 (although 2k/4k/8k is really really pretty lol). As far as refresh rates, FPS, etc., I do recommend at least staying at 60FPS and using something like Freesync or something outside of games if possible. To explain a bit more... maybe this will help ya (yes, it's based on CSGO but the theory is the same, and no you don't need to max your FPS when playing solo stuff or a game like 7 Days, it's just the theory of it all; I normally don't go for videos on research but a lot of people are visual learners and this is a visual thing lol):
  6. Yeah don't forget higher refresh rate monitors will burn out faster, too. And you, to be honest, don't need all of that unless you plan on playing twitch-shooters such as CSGO competitively. Even so, 60hz works fine.
  7. I second waiting for the 3000 series to come out but not for the few stated reasons: wait because the other cards' prices will drop. There's no point blowing most of your budget for a card and then needing a really good PSU which will eat a lot more budget up and leave very little for your mobo/ram/cpu/case/cooling/monitor(if needed)/Windows(if needed). Better to get a heavily discounted older card that will do completely fine for whatever you want to throw at it which will enable you to invest a lot more into the rest of the system.
  8. I missed that rushing. Here's some basic information https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/glossary-m2-definition,5887.html#:~:text=2 slots.,more bandwidth than SATA%2C M. It goes over 3 types M.2 (and NVME, kinda like a turbo-M.2) are insanely fast, you can get them at a decent price (30-60$ or more) but you sacrifice storage unless ya pay more, same as sata SSDs but just a hair more expensive. They do share the PCIE data lanes/sata ports (depending on mobo and which m.2 you get), so look it up for the motherboard you choose.
  9. That's the beauty of it all (and not to just fluff AMD but it's true, AMD is rather scaleable for the future): get a mobo that you can upgrade parts on later and start at a budget you can do. My AMD rig was only 400-ish after shipping and taxes on the parts and performs well; I can upgrade it into a powerhouse later if I wish.
  10. Sounds good. Just to be clear, I was checking out Fixed SDTD-13039 Robotic drone doesn't teleport with player (Steve) so I wasn't sure if it meant all cases or not.
  11. Yeah AMD is certainly wiping the CPU market's floor with Intel's face. I was pleasantly shocked when I built a rig with a Ryzen 3 3300G and just mildly set an OC profile to overclock the APU clock on it and keep the cores a little higher; I figured I'd need to get a GPU pretty quick but... it runs 7 Days at full textures and a blend of medium and low settings at 40-45 fps outdoors and upward of 90 fps indoors. Heh, just going to keep it as is and my next full-sized tower will be the one for an Nvidia 3000 series card and grab one of the new Ryzen releases for it. Of course, it's paired with an M.2 SSD and fast ram, but both of those are pretty inexpensive now a days.
  12. A little initial pointer is that currently AMD is outdoing Intel in the CPU wars, you can get much more bang for your buck (and a stock cooler that actually is worth using lol). But I'd still stick with an Nvidia card; the 3000 series is looking pretty nice, and coming at a decent price; it will also likely cause a drop in price in older cards too soon. Water cooling isn't needed so don't worry there.
  13. I made a newer, more accurate report on this, see it here Sorry about that
  14. Ah will do @Twigg thanks. Wasn't sure if it was wanted to have the whole trace in the summary or just view it in the log.
  15. Amendment to the report: the sound isn't infinite but lasts for some time (updated report below) Summary: After the Junk Drone heals the player, the healing sound plays for quite some time after the healing animation finishes, rather than ending when the drone is done healing the player. Platform: Win 10 (Ryzen 3200G Quad core 3.8-4.0ghz | 16GB DDR4 3200 | Vega 8 | Game, OS and Steam on a M.2 SSD) Gamemode: SP Navezgane Reproduction Steps: Enter a game of choice; enter dm and cm into the console Search for and acquire a Junk Drone and either a first aid kit or first aid bandage Place (deploy) the drone down on the ground; place the medicinal item inside the drone's inventory Damage yourself a bit; observe the healing sound playing after the animation ends. Youtube video:
  16. I made a new video since the other one was longer, and discovered this isn't infinite yet it last for a decent period of time after the healing animation stops. If a corrected report is desired, I will make one.
  17. This is another short video further showcasing the targeting issues I mentioned.
  18. A little tip: Just because you see something doesn't mean you have to kill it even with things completely useless against it. Dire wolves and mountain lions will lose interest in a chase with you after a short distance; all you have to do is hold shift and sprint in the opposite direction for a bit. These animals are easy to deal with when you have the right weaponry.
  19. Forgotten to add detail: This reproduces with vanilla prefabs as well.
  20. **Gamemode: Playtesting MP Client/MP Host
  21. Null Reference Repro Update: I went and double checked, the null reference error will reproduce by simply: Enter a game, go into dm press ctrl + num * Spawn in a trader Exit the game
