@madmole  I must say, to whoever sneakily put in the "drop all" button in the backpack whenever we open a storage : THANK YOU.

Even if it's a placeholder and we don't have the keybinding nor the "same type dropping" yet, it saves a metrical ton of time for anyone anytime with just one click.

It does have drop same type...... that and drop all. All it is missing is the ability to lock slots to not drop. You know, the ability the vanilla code had while it was commented out and that actually makes the feature complete.

Only Bike part that you can make in inventory is the wheels as the handle bars, frame, and putting it all together needs the workbench.

Putting it all together can be done in your pocket. You only need the WB to make frame and handlebars.

In fact, It's the least offensive and most realistic jiggle that I've seen in a videogame ever.Insert other media

    1. You're right, it's not offensive.

    2. Yea so because other games do it even worse makes this good? Is that really how low our standards are? Show me where a real boob jiggles excessively like this and even the shirt jiggles along with it. It's stupid looking and overdone to appeal to immature teenage boys....

Either way, if this is her, I saw very little jiggle & no way this could be offensive.

It's not offensive - it's comical and I doubt that's the look they were going for. It's boob jiggle as dreamed about by a 12 year old boy hitting puberty. Oh wait, maybe that's the target audience! Sigh.

Keep up the good work, but the jiggle physics have to go, or at least be toned down. They look outright cartoony in their current state; they look like a female anime chest.

Aye, they do need to be toned down. It looks like hell. What are we? 12? A little wiggle is fine but this is just stupid looking. The hair moving in huge swatches is even worse.

I gave up on that game, I dies four times, all four times I was killed by mountainlions. I agree that the first time I agroed the lion myself. But the second time I got jumped from behind by one of the mountainlions, the time after that I ran away from a mountainlion just to run into another one and the last kill was by a mountainlion that broke into a house that I was clearing for a quest...

Apparently that particular block of houses had a infestation of mountainlions, because around every couple of houses, there was a mountainlion roaming about.

I wish the developers would scale the wildlife in the same manner as they do with zombies. The zombies grow tougher and more advanced the more days you play, why can't they do that with the natural predators too? Start out with dingo's, coyotes, foxes, etc. then go to wolves & zombie dogs, then go to bears, dire wolfs and mountainlions and end with zombie version of those last animals.

That way you don't have to worry running into nearly unbeatable enemies when you are still running around with a wooden club and a bow with 19 stone arrows... Especially since some biotopes are literally crawling with those mobs.

My second game ended with a dire wolf comming at me from nowhere when I was checking my locker. He basically was camping my spawning point, killing me each time I respawned. I managed to lure it away by trying to run as far as I could before he killed me (most of the time he dazed me, broke bones, gave a concussion or let me to bleed with the first hit).

I don't mind a challege, but trying to dodge, circle and avoid these nearly impossible to beat animals all of the time when you are still lvl 3 is not my idea of a challenge, at that lvl coyotes are already tricky enough.

Pro tip - stay out of the snow biome at lvl 3..... no more problems with mountain lions.

Even if none of your traders having working stations, you don't skill int, and you don't find the schematics, you are by no means barred from the rest of the game unless you have amazingly bad luck.

With the exception of forges, all the other workstations appear pretty commonly in pois. The chances that no pois in your area have working stations as well would mean astronomically bad luck. So if you don't want to throw a few points into intellect to get the perks, then systematically search for working stations in pois and mark them on your map.

For the forge, it requires one point in the perk and zero in int to unlock.

You have many options. Use whichever works for you.

and you can also just guy the workstations from the traders...

The real question is why are these powerful mobs spawning so early in the game? Is "gamestage" not a thing anymore?

I was level 7 and I got ambushed by a bear right as I stepped outside a trader compound. It killed me before I could run back inside.

That wandering horde has always spawned early...

  9. You have the option to avoid that. Stay out of where they spawn. Yes they can also be in wandering hordes but you know what? The game is MEANT to be hard. Even a wandering horde can be seen from a distance if you actually look around on a regular basis... Keeping your head down and ignoring your surroundings is just asking to get ganked.

That's not an excuse.  There are plenty of other small studios that have churned out finished games in under 7 years.  "Other people take this long" is not a defensible position and "wait until it's finished" is not valid when they've been teasing a completed version for years with the incentive of buying it for less before the price goes up on the finished version.

The length of the development cycle isn't my issue; blaming things on it being an alpha is.  That attitude is pretty much telling everyone to go take a flying leap until its done; which goes in stark contrast to the method of advertising via streamers that they seem so fond of and the reliance on players reporting bugs/gameplay issues to them in order to improve it.

You're right, it's not an excuse. it's a Reason. there's a difference. And yep I was right, early access is not for you. Show me another game doing what 7dtd is doing with a fully destroyable voxel game and then try this BS about how their somehow not doing good enough for you.

Both the Mountain lion and Direwolf have been made too OP. Between pain resistance, skipping attack animations, increased health, and whatever else TFP have done to buff them, there are pretty much unbeatable at early game stages with common weapons. I pelted a mountain lion with 6 arrows, and then power bashed it a couple of times with a club and it still killed me. And just shot a direwolf in the face with a blunderbuss at point blank range, and it killed me in 3 bites.. WTF!!! Nerf please.

Then don't go where they are..... Daytime forest you won't have those problems. Btw, I just ate a mountain lion on D4. Saw him in the distance, nerdpoled up onto a roof, shot him with a lvl 3 prim bow, he came over, shot him about 10 more times. he died, I ate him. Working as intended. Boars? Lay down a frame right next to them. Upgrade it, Hop up and nerdpole 1 frame higher, upgrade it 2x. Shoot boar, he comes close, shoot him 4 more times. Eat him... RInse and repeat. Boars are my go to hunting target.

That would be more meaningful if the game hadn't been in Alpha for 7 years.  There's a point of reasonable expectation in which you expect something to be done.  You can't keep playing the "It's an alpha" card when the game is old enough to enter school.

This also goes against the "just get a mod" approach to balancing out the aspects that people don't like as, with every update, mods have to be tweaked and reworked.  The mods I used back on A15 to add extra places to the map are now useless, the mods from Alpha 16 that made it so if I stayed in one place too long I'd have to slog through a horde to get out don't work, the mod to remove bees is now useless and I have to mod out vultures again, etc.

Guess how long a AAA studio with hundreds of employees takes to make a game....... 7 years for this size team is perfectly normal. You are just getting to see the entire process. If you can't wrap your head around that then early access is not for you. Wait til it goes Gold.

the way they said it, was more that the lower tiers just aint worth using anymore. rather then each tier being special in there own ways. hell look at the revolver and the magnum. the litteral only reason to use the revo is for a discount at the trader. rather then one being higher damage but only 6 rounds, and the magnum being more versatile at the cost of damage.

and another one, before, the AK had more damage then the M60. but the M60 was.... a M60. Bullet hose, or a more precise, damageing weapon?

as a note, i went into creative and compared quality 6 weapons to each other to check there stats. its why im making a fus over this. XD

?? The Revolver IS the Magnum, Same gun..... Did you mean to say the Desert Vulture instead of magnum? That is the semi auto 44 cal.

  14. Like:

New lighting is awesome. It looks incredible and runs better at the same time.

Stone age - love it. I do not want to be finding an AK D1. Period.

Food - Love it. I'm still only up to D4 or so but it's always on my mind to be sure and kill something during the day so I have dinner. It steers me to quest in a different direction every day to find fresh animals also.

New POI's and Zombies. Love em ofc, who wouldn't. :)

    Dislike:

Combat music. As I feared, it's already close to making me want to turn off the rest of the music just to get rid of the combat music. It is not only very repetitive but it also serves as an unwanted warning that zombies are coming. If I don't see thew 5 zombies coming my way then I want my first clue to be blood splatters as one of them hits me. I DO NOT ant the music to warn me they are coming.

Candies - No thank you. I hate temp buffs. Period

On Screen Sprites - Urgh. Hate em. I'm not 12 and playing a kiddie game. Especially the digging circle. Seeing them on the compass was plenty. I do not want stuff onscreen in my direct view.

Overall I love A19. Fantastic progress and polish across so many areas of the game.

not so crazy about the saturation and the new light reflection off small things like bags, trash and the like (especially outdoors)

I like that progression was slowed and the blunderbuss was buffed!

Overall there are quite a few QoL improvements that I like.
But it seems that doghordes can spawn on day 2. Closing and reopening the save gets rid of them tho (they don't get saved lol)
At least I can fight one evil with another evil :D

I really dislike that there are so many cities around. I like to use a remote poi for my first base... now I had to build it from scratch... which is kinda nice, but I still want to be further away from cities!

Was it the dog horde with the zombie bear? The one that starts at gamestage 5, just like it has since A17? GS 5/55/105/etc...

  16. Not a fan of the new dark color scheme. It looks washed out and pale. A darker black would be better for better contrast. The slow fade in when going to the next page is a bit annoying but other than those two things it seems to function quite well.

  17. Hey guys,

I got a request from a discord user for an 8k map for use with Ravenherst. Used Nitro with Melt's RH files and got a the map I wanted. Loads up no problem, fixed biomes how i wanted, all good there. I was pretty happy with what it gave me back in terms of prefab placement, a few buildings not perfect placed, but I always check and tweak placement when i put in roads so no problem.

What I did notice though is RH's customized versions of a Magolis set, and a LOT of duplicates as its a very small selection from Compo, made even smaller by having some removed in Melt's scipt, which im not knocking, I also removed the sphinx for shooting the terrain up.

What I really want to know I guess is, whats the difference between those and me just using magolis set? Is there anything, outside of rwg placement problems, that would cause issues in RH if i also added in compo pack either instead of, or in combo with Compo pack? Like I said, I mostly hand make or at least severely clean up rwg maps, and it seems like a waste not add those building from compo in.

I havent played, but Raverherst looks pretty good, and I would like to maybe do this and a few more maps specifically for RH players who dont really do maps or mods. Any input is always appreciated

RH takes the more OP POI's out of the compo pack and iirc also edits some of the others left in removing loot boxes.
