To be fair though... Maybe it shouldn't map to a hotkey.

That's exactly why I never use the hotkeys in this game. Too many times what you used it for last time will hurt you if you hit it by accident now. Avoid them at all costs is my suggestion.

One of my favorite mechanic from past alphas was how we had to draw our own blood to craft medkits

Yea that was a good mechanic.

NOOOO! I don't care for the loot.

I want to see how the bandits move out of their base, walk in the city, kill zombies and walk back to their camp.
    This is so simple:
    waypoint A is their base.
check in radius of like 400 blocks for simple pois (preferrably in the city)
make them walk there like zombie pathfinding
spawn in some zombies at waypoint B&C
let them go inside POI, spawn some more zombies , let them fight
move out and go back to base.
Also I want REAL fights. where some bandits might die not simulated like in a cutscene. That shouldnt be hard, just declare both parties enemies and boom.

I don't care if stuff is looted afterwards, that was just an addon for realism.
I don't want it to happen offscreen. Everything happens offscreen in 7D2D. As you said it is a player-centric game. But not in a good way.
Nothing happens if the player is not there. And that is what I find the sadest thing. It doesn't feel like the world is alive.

With as much as performance suffers from us being on the map not to mention in MP worlds you now somehow think the game can hold up to this? Good luck with that lol.

  3. Sigh, 5 year old law going into the next pahse of activation. Want some actual details and not the BS kind of headline you're repeating here? Go watch Jayz2cents viedeo on it. Or Gamersnexus. Both will show you just how foolish you sound worrying about this nothing law.

Synopsis tho, no user assembled PC is covered by this.

The more powerful the PC the less it is covered by this.

As for the logic behind it? It's aimed at the thousands of office desktops sitting at sleep mode 16 hours a day eating up power for absolutely no reason. That is the most affected group of PC's by this.

Greetings, I have a pretty old question, but one that is really important to me. How likely do you think it is that Alpha 20 is going to be released this August @faatal? I know you guys hate such questions, but with an answer I could decide wether to start a new game now or just wait. Thanks in advance.

Start a new game. They haven't even started doing Dev Streams. August is 99% not gonna happen.

Actually, Madmole has stated that even sealed crates aren't intended to represent factory sealed crates from before the apocolypse. Given that is true, it would probably be best at some point for TFP to change the presentation so as to not give a false impression (or provide some reason why NPCs in the world are boxing things up in nailed shut crates....). However, it does indicate that despite the deceptive visual cues, pretty much everything really has been touched before in the minds of the developers and since they are establishing the balance of ammo in the world it really only matters what their intention is.

Aye, I've always said those crates are easily re nailed shut when people complain about the stone tools being in them. I just didn't want to get that deep into it again in this case. :) So I stuck with less arguable containers.

New video with yet another list of reasons to avoid Dell like the plague.

Alienware used to be reasonably good gaming systems. Then Dell bought them out. At least this one actually has a PSU, and not a laptop brick.

Yea, that was a hilarious system, the other pure Dell system they did at the beginning was just as bad.

Again, thank you all for the feedback and tests.

I have created a little test myself in a vanilla game and the cop can definitely can get to you through one block, not consistently though. In the video, I’m sure he must have been on the ground before attacking, so in reality he could have hit me through more than one block.

There might have been some lingering vomit on the blocks from the previous attack, so who know, maybe that had something to do with it? No other blocks were broken except for the switches that got destroyed by the 2 block AOE.

I've doubled up on the blocks and it seems safe, although, with stars aligned, who knows 😀.

I'm pretty sure that is limited to glass, being transparant and bullet proof being semi transparant.

What you're looting in game is obviously something no-one has ever touched before

That only applies to the store specific crates. Everything else can and almost certainly has been touched before. Ammo is found in many many different types of loot boxes after all. Remember, it's been years into the apocalypse now.

we can assume that people who have a game don't buy it twice.

Yes you can assume, but again you'd be wrong. I've bought it 3 times, one for me, one for my daughter and one for her friend so they can play together. Stop assuming and making things up.

ok quick question : how long game is selling usually? you can find statistic about that . the best sell is in first month in the most situation or after big sale . well i'm sure that 5-15 guys buying after sales on steam for example company of heroes 1.  BUT it will not be like coh 3 - i'm sure that at least 1000 bought this game in preorder

You can't back up your claims with any data so instead you think I should have to show data to prove you wrong? That's not how it works buddy. Nice try inventing even more fake stats in your latest post tho. Some people never learn.

Nowadays guns are more frequent than friggin' antibiotics and funnily enough, than ammo

What do you think would happen IRL if you closed up all the ammo manufacturing plants for a few years? Still think there would be more ammo than guns? In game makes perfect sense in that regard. Tell me how many people are gonna be able to reproduce primers for casings?

this was realeased in 2013 so people had... 8 years to buy?  ofc  a lot of people have on pirate version too but they are playing without buying so i don't count them. always 7dtd can get "fresh air" like the last stand to l4d2 like : 200 new pois ,50 variants of zombie etc - something so big that people in yt , news pages will talk about it

Ah I see, You invented them. Thx for letting us know you have nothing to back up your assertions.

The fun part happens when You don't dig up to a treasure after a few swings, then treasure relocates itself magically if the process takes too long.

That does not happen. Possibly a bug but have never seen it reported.

Proof that the game is still complex and challenging despite what you often hear from players on this forum with 1000's of hours under their belt who want it to continually evolve into even more complexity and a tougher challenge.

Nah, that's just proof that some people never learn anything even after playing a game for years and years.
