  1. Which other mods have you tried? I'm wondering if its just the direct download that is failing. Some of the larger mods use a "clone" method, and download differently.
  2. I've seen a few people have this type of error the last few days, and I'm wondering if github has changed their certificate. If you select "Disable SSL", and restart the mod launcher, does it work?
  3. Sorry for the trouble. Do you have any anti-virus or firewall software running that may be preventing the mod launcher from download it? If you click on the View menu, in the Mod Launcher, and select Log Files, you'll find the 7d2dlauncher.txt log. Click on Upload Log file, and then give me the pastebin.com link, and I'll take a look.

  7. It is passing the serverconfig.xml successfully, so it's working. I don't think all options in the serverconfig.xml is read by the client, so this could be what you are running into.
  8. Have you posted the log files yet? The installation is fairly straightforward, so we need the logs to figure out the issue you are having
  9. I don't think there's any valmod icons. Sounds like your game folder may not be clean from other mods.
  10. For mods like this, that modify the DLL, you cannot use EAC. It always has to be disabled. Starvation servers would have this disabled, so you'd be able to connect to them without being kicked.

  14. Thanks for the log. In that same screen, can you change the drop down that says 7d2dlauncher.txt and select output_log.txt? I'm not really looking for an error, but rather confirming that the parameter is passed in. I don't think all settings in the serverconfig.xml are valid for local games.
  15. That functionality hasnt' changed. Can you upload your game log file showing the failure? You can go to the View menu, then Log Files, and find the output_log.txt of the current mod.
  16. Yes, can you grab the log files from the server? On the server, do you have a "Mods" folder?
  17. Sorry for the trouble. CB Mod is just an XML mod. You'd just extra the files, and upload them as-is. We'd need to see the error logs to see what the issue is.

Windows XP and Server 2003 - %userprofile%\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\*.* Windows Vista and Server 2008 and later - %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\*.* Copy the %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ into an Explorer window, and delete everything in that folder. It'll get re-generated when the program starts up.

  21. I can definitely turn it on in the Mod Launcher. I have the config created for it. I would recommend creating a Data/UMATextures/ folder, with at least one texture in it. This will save people from getting a red error on start up, and speed up their start up times after the first load.
  22. Congrats on your release. In order to get into the Mod Launcher, we need a direct link to the zip file, and that link can't change if you update your zip file Usually I suggest GitHub for this.
  23. Hmm, that's strange. Usually that's a connection issue between you and the host. Sometimes clicking on Disable SSL helps in that regard.
