  1. Cool, so all I need is this download and it covers all of your existing zombies plus your new additions? https://gitlab.com/guppycur/a21-mods/-/tree/main/gupA21-Zombies
  2. For the zombie pack update there are two downloads here : https://7daystodiemods.com/guppys-zombies/ There is no explanation on the two downloads. I have the previous version on my server. In order to update do I just download the 2nd set? It's confusing. Thanks.
  3. Here is the Discord for the Server: You'll need to install some vehicles in your mods folder to join, links provided. Our aim is to provide an awesome VR experience with a large set of VR complimentary mods. Flat screen can join too, the VR mod is client side. https://discord.gg/2c86HchH You can find the latest release of the VR mod on Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/3011
  4. Since you're knowledgeable with working on the vehicles do you know if there are any hard coded limitations that would prevent the development of a mod that would allow players as passengers to shoot from vehicles? It would be a game changer mod if used with the 7D2D VR mod. I recall seeing talk about a mod like this in the past. I wonder if it's just a simple switch in the game to reactivate it. Thoughts? No worries if you want to avoid topic drift, I know my question is off topic to your mod.
  5. This would be an epic gamechanger used with the new 7D2D VR mod I recall talk about adding weapon functionality while in vehicles in the past. Is there a mod that achieves this or did in the past? Perhaps it can be edited to function in A21? We found that several custom vehicles worked exceptionally well in VR. Not being able to shoot while in the passenger seat felt like a lost gameplay opportunity. I'm sure TFP probably disabled it because of the 3rd person view they went with for vehicles. It's no longer an issue with the VR perspective. Imagine Horde night, A 2 person team up in helicopter circling a building offering support shooting down at the horde while 3 others are up on a POI building top. Or driving with Bdubyah’s buggy or other custom vehicle, passenger blasting away as you cut through a horde on the street... Would be super cool.
  6. I'd like to chime in also on this mod. I'm running it on a 7D2D VR server (VR is client side but we select mods to compliment VR) and we're loving the action and energy this brings to the game.
  7. We did a pretty extensive amount of custom vehicle mod testing last night in VR and I just wanted to let everyone know that approximately 80% worked fantastic. The only issues we ran into on the ones that didn't work well were based on the camera placement, because of where the player model was placed or oriented. Some of the vehicles allowed our entire 5 player group to ride together in VR which was a blast! We selected 11 to test in VR Vehicles that were excellent in VR: MD-500 Helicopter <--- My personal favorite in VR UH-60 Helicopter <--- Our 5 player group had a blast with this one! Golf Cart <--- Just looks perfect in VR Buggy <--- Looks Awesome UAZ-452 <--- We loved the interior in VR, all 5 of us fit inside! Jeeps <--- Look and feel great to drive in VR Dirt bike <--- Lots of fun and maneuverable in VR Humvee <--- The one with the open top/back, worked well A few that didn't work so well: Sherp - The player model is oriented where you're looking at the ground Duster - Maybe it's designed this way but left and right are opposite before you take off Marauder - Unfortunately you are placed right behind the engine which blocks your view in VR EDIT: A mod that would be huge in 7D2D VR would be one that allows passengers to use their weapons. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? Shooting out of the MD-500, or off of the back of the Buggy would be a game changer!
  8. Software development has a lot of unforeseens that creep up. That is why an exact date can not be produced. Please understand that and be patient people. Let them get it right. Those that understand the complexity of the process would rather wait for a superior release than a broken one with constant fixes.
  9. Simple Ideas to Improve the game: Can you guys consider adding some random elements to the zombie generation?: Zombie randomization ideas: (Some of these would probably be pretty simple to add, others a bit more involved) Clothing colors - (simplest to implement most likely) Voice pitch adjustment - (within a range) Voice variations - (maybe even have more silent breathing or moaning variations) Model walking/movement animation variations Model skin variations - (a range from fresh zombie to deeply rotted with several steps between) Zombie damage - (Maybe some of them spawn missing an arm, or a leg, or just cosmetic damage like a twisted arm or head) Behavioral variations - (Essentially a selection of personalities such as mindless wall bumper, standard AI, crafty/intelligent full AI) I've been a player of 7 days to die for several years and one thing that really keeps the experience down as a veteran player are the clone zombies. I think at the very least randomizing the color of the outfits they wear would go a long way to add more realism. Even subtle color variations within a range would be fantastic. Ideally adding a full spectrum of randomization would really be next level for this game! I hope you all consider implementing some of these ideas!
