    armor needs more code anyways.
    its dead as it is.
see what other games have to offer; rechargeable battery-packs for all your functional-gear such as flashlights.
    durability on armor-plates inserted.
    backpacks !!
what does 7dtd have ? jiggling tits

so your water-purifier should have a durability: that filter surely wont be good forever.

Why, so they can nerf battery drop rates too and make it so we can't have vehicles?

Traders need to only sell resources, food, drink, ammo and meds. No books, tools, weapons, armor, crafting stations or buffing items and the same goes for the loot we find.

For the quest rewards keep them more or less the same but limit the quality of what appears to quality 3 so we have an incentive to craft those quality 5 items. The same rewards could be found in those hidden treasure maps quests we find once in awhile.

There is no way this game will ever get any resemblance of balance without a major nerf like that to the traders when they sell most of items that can make us skip progress so easily.

Give us more reason to craft and loot and actually put those  ridiculous magazines to good use. What's the point in looting up mags if the traders will sell all those things and enable us to skip the progress and become OP even faster.

I disagree. Just don't use the traders - no need to put that on those of us who prefer using them as they are.

I get a lot of broken glass when I loot a POI.  Some areas you can get it - Open medicine cabinets with glass, decorations on the wall, some of the noise piles on the floor, mirrors

Sorry I hit save instead of cancel by mistake.  Some windows still give broken glass but not the wooden ones that did in the past.  Pictures give wood (and have for some time).  Some of the new decorations do break down to glass when you destroy them.

I remember pictures giving glass as well in A20 and A19, was disappointed to see it changed. Only new decorations I've gotten glass from are teh aforementioned beer bottles, but I'll keep looking. Thanks!

Just as a sanity check, when you open the Quest tab, there's no pending quests?

I've had this happen to me because I'll grab the open trade route quest and another quest from the trader at the same time. I'll often do the trade route first and then forget that I have a pending quest with them (because it doesn't automatically make it active) and scratch my head when I go back to the trader and they don't offer me any quests

Well... it turns out I'm dumb. I did have a pending quest. XD

  5. Some background info:

    -New day

-Have not done ANY quests for this trader during this new day

-Was previously able to do T1, 2 and 3 quests for them

-Trader is Bob and is at a town

-Have already done the next "Opening Trade Routes" quest

When I go to Bob to grab a quest (I have none to turn in) the only option is Next and he tells me he has no work at this time.

Interesting.  I am on Day 13 and have not had a screamer yet.  (well one but they were a sleeper in a POI)   There are a couple of vids out on the A21 heat mechanic.  Will have to see what I am missing.

I was getting them Day 1 on my single player game, which I use for testing things. Had about 7 of them show up over a span of 2 days.

  7. Loaded up a single player game last night, 200% loot abundance just to test. Raided the Working Stiff store near Jen's old location, and came out with way more weapon-oriented magazines than I did tool-oriented magazines - and not a single Forge Ahead magazine. Seems a bit off, yeah?

I can definitely say that the visual appeal of the game is fantastic; however, I am completely bumfuzzled with a few changes and some old issues that remain.

First, why in world would you remove glass jars and tin cans from the game? I understand you want people to use the new dew collector, but having the jars and cans add to the realism of the game. In my opinion, this change is definitely for the worse.

Second, I'm not sure if it's just me, but after firing one arrow from a bow, the arrow no longer aligns with the crosshairs. The arrow points slightly to the left of the crosshairs. After switching to another weapon and then back to the bow, the arrow alignment is correct...well, until I fire an arrow...lol!

Third, I was really hoping that the "it takes 5 pieces of meat to make one" thing would be changed. For the sake of immersion, one piece of meat should make one piece of cooked meat. If the developers feel that too much meat can be gathered from one animal corpse, simply lower the harvest amount.

Finally, for goodness sake, PLEASE make a toggle to turn off screamers!! As a single player who love to glean every available resource from the places I loot, having a screamer pop up every couple of minutes gets old real quick! Disabling the screamers would be a dream come true!

They don't want realism in the game unless it comes with something detrimental to the players.

In all.. seriousness? They felt it was too easy to deal with water and thirst in the early game. So they made it easy anyway, just in a different way.

I agree with you on the meat, and seeds too. It shouldn't take 5 pieces of meat to make a single cooked meat, nor should it take 5 veggies to make a single seed. But that just goes back to my comment above about no realism unless it's detrimental to players.

Yeah but I meant like real quests.
    Not those treasuremaps and stuff...
Those were added in A17, the worst update by FAR :D

I'm still waiting for the new quest types they promised in A21. They said two new quest types that aren't variations of quest types we already have. Instead, they gave us one "new" type that's just a variation of what we already have.
