Jost Amman
Anyone remembers that "bug" (or better yet "limitation") where after exploring a lot and uncovering a big chunk of the map, further exploring would cover back some parts of the already explored map. I don't know if that is about memory limitations or about how the map is generated. I was thinking the new A17 RWG could also allow to fix that maybe? Anyone knows anything about a fix on that? zootal
I thought they fixed that in A16.4 or so?
Alloc
Like that one? https://7daystodie.com/a16-early-streaming-release-notes/ Limit of per player uncovered map area configurable with preference “MaxUncoveredMapChunksPerPlayer”, client side defaults to 4 times the area of before A16 (128 km² instead of 32 km²)

LuckyStar
Yeah this was a concern of mine awhile back. Glad to see they've increased the size, though I still can't figure out why there's a limit at all. The map isn't really that big. ~Lucky Working-Castle-Tribute-to-A16-Plus-bonus-tips-video
SylenThunder
The limit is mostly in place for dedicated servers I think. Syncing a 66MB file to a client over a lackluster internet connection isn't the greatest idea.

That makes sense. ~Lucky Working-Castle-Tribute-to-A16-Plus-bonus-tips-video
