Tonzza95 Posted October 30, 2022 Share Posted October 30, 2022 We have noticed that in multiplayer the host has a good ping of 80ms, but the non-host has at worst 1000-250k ping in multiplayer. This problem did not exist in the alpha 19 version. We have tested our own internet, which we have verified to be good, and we all have a ping of 16-29ms. katarynna Posted October 30, 2022 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I believe ping that high is often associated with antivirus/windows defender/etc. It is not sufficient to turn those off. you need to whitelist 7dtd with anything you have installed, whether turned on or off. If the highest ping listed is first or last, the problem is something on the computers slowing down your connection. If you aren't familiar with tracert, run the command prompt as administrator.
