Modori
When creating a newly generated map something goes wrong during the process and proceeds to generate incorrectly. https://imgur.com/a/snsOEWE
BFT2020
What is your map size? Maps need to be in increments of 1024 to generate correctly, and the issue you are showing indicates you might not have put in the correct map size
Modori
The second image in the album has the settings of the generation. It says 8192 map size?

Sorry my bad. When I clicked on your link I only saw the first picture on my tablet and didn’t notice the scroll bar. I will try running that seed on my computer later to see if I get the same result.

Modori
It was a fresh install. I don't believe there was left over mods interacting with the client. Yeah I have a Ryzen 7 and 2080 super.

Check your log file, and copy it to pastebin and link here if you want someone to look at it. Check that everything is cleaned as instructed in the blue banner above. Also delete any mods folder. If everything is clean and it still happens, it might be a memory thing.
Modori
https://pastebin.com/6svd0d4U I did a newly generated map and posted the log up.
Star69
Try removing your mods first then try to generate the same world. It’s possible the mods are interfering with generation.

Star69
The last log you posted still showed mods so they are definitely still loading.
Modori
How do I completely remove them then? I thought just doing a fresh install would solve that issue? Thanks.
unholyjoe
try using the launcher either via steam or going to the folder and clicking on it.
Star69
There is a folder called Mods in your 7 Days directory that may or may not be deleted depending how you uninstall your game. Just delete that folder if it’s still there. I’ve never used mods myself so hopefully Unholy Joe’s suggestion will fix it.
Modori
I tried cleaning the game state and then doing a fresh random generation. I also deleted the mod folder in the directory. The same thing happened.
Modori
Does anybody have any ideas? Would really like a solution to it.
Star69
Other than cleaning the data like Unholy Joe demonstrated above, then uninstall the game. Before reinstalling the game be sure you’re opting in to A20 then install. This assures that you have zero A19 files. If you really want to be thorough, after uninstalling, remove all folders that are named 7 Days to Die and The Fun Pimps. You’ll find them in your Steam folder as well as App Data ->I think Roaming or it could be Low. You can also search your registry and delete anything named 7 Days to Die or the Fun Pimps. After that install a fresh copy of A20.

I guess it wasnt wiping correctly even after uninstalling from steam.
