If you have Refresh Mods Automatically checked, it'll do a pre-sync every time you hit play, looking for updates. If it does not find any, it plays. If it does, it downloads, then plays. Dan7d2d
I've downloaded the Mod Launcher, but it always shows and Error during install. Error 1001. Ive tried different locations to load the program and have downloaded the installer multiple times, I've turned off AV during download and install, not sure what to try next. Try this: https://github.com/SphereII/7D2DModLauncherReleases/archive/master.zip Extract, and run. It won't auto-update, but there usually isn't a lot of updates. People with slower internet, and slightly unstable internet, is causing disconnects. Mods hosted on Azure and Github are not experiencing this issue. Can definitely vouch for this. I have satellite internet and anything from Github or Gitlab fails quite often (to the tune of eight hours to try to get ONE mod downloaded). Azure is spotty for me too. Click on View, then Open Configuration File. Close the Mod Launcher, and look for the RemoteServers= line. This probably has some badly formed stuff. You can delete this entire line, save, then restart the mod launcher.

Perrius
Hallo first off all sry for the bad english. I have a problem installing mods, or rather see them. when i download war of the walkers, and pre-sync the game, I can only see the mods that I manually picked on the list, but not all the mods for the game. When i start the game, it only shows the vanilla game. I have tried reinstall, see if it happens to other mods (I does). So I am a bit lost. the launcher worked fine last week, so i dont now what is wrong

Some of the hosting sites seem to be struggling with the larger repos, and sometimes our connection to them is inconsistent. Sounds like you hit one of those times. Are you using the 7D2D Mod Launcher, or are you using the Vortex Mod Manager from Nexus? This thread is just for 7D2D Mod Launcher.

I don't think they have a mod launcher configuration.
