zootal Posted November 25, 2019 Share Posted November 25, 2019 What do you mean "memory leak"? When/where do you observe increased memory consumption? How do you measure it? A18.2 does indeed have a memory leak, but it's not tied to video settings, it has to do with joining a server, exiting, and joining a server again. Each quit/join ties up a small amount of memory. Sooner or later you max out ram and start to hammer swap file, if it doesn't crash before then. More often than not it crashes first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AmethystLainey Posted November 26, 2019 Author Share Posted November 26, 2019 I notice it if Im watching a streamer or any video the video starts to stutter and buffer like mad but the game is fine but I also have my task manger up and notice the memory go to almost maz when this starts to happen. Greymantle Posted November 29, 2019 Share Posted November 29, 2019 It seems to be some memory leak for me. I get 100 plus frames most of the time with drops down to 70 at times.
