  1. So it’s like now I’m writing without a five-page delay. Can anyone explain to me what is wrong with this POI? Found it in another world and checked it, it all happened again.

Item 0 in the post below.

I agree and disagree on the injuries carrying over. I know what you mean about about losing that sense of progress when you are starving / dying of injuries etc and are trying to solve the issue, then it gets "taken away" when you die and you are stronger than ever. I'd be fine with injuries carrying over after deaths, if all of the injuries were fun / not anti fun. Infection and abrasion etc are not a game breaker, it's mostly just concussion and broken leg that are really annoying because they basically remove player agency.

Deaths should probably matter more, but they don't want to create death loops. It's hard to think up ideas that would be fun punishments, without them causing death loops. Things like your respawn location summoning a roaming horde that targets you would be a neat challenge and make you think twice about "spawn on my bed or near it", but then it's death loopy.

Same with something like "dying causes your armor to take X damage". Would make you have to use repair kits and think twice about dying, but then it makes you more likely to die again

If you are caught in a death loop, then you have lost. Why not? After all, death penalties might be optional. In fact, we already have this with the removal of items, but it could be more varied. Rebirth after death should be a second chance, not a reward

So now that Pipe Weapons and 'early game' options for all weapon types are now in... any chance for an XP overhaul in the near future?

My thoughts/suggestion, in the name of a game are: Mount & Blade Bannerlord.

Pretty sure all the framework is in place, specializations well defined, just need a method to track/gain XP per Skill + Cumulative General XP (as-is) for this to work!

I'm not going to retype it here, my essay is here as follows:

Undead Legacy mod have lbd system, u can try it. I think its best big mod at this moment. Inventory, vehicle, recipe system and perks overhauls is very good

Screw the speed. The costs are cheaper which can make a significant different, you get XP from trap kills, you get increased XP from healing and you can craft the first bandage so you can heal every time you are even a single point down for extra XP, vehicles are WAY cheaper and you can get a motorcycle very easily in the game, you get better secret stash, you get _two_ secret stashes using the nerd goggles exploit, better prices for buying and selling, more cash from quests, more quest reward options, more flexibility using robotic sledge/turrets. What is NOT to like? Intellect is the most OP attribute tree in the game. Focus on it for the first two weeks, then switch to another attribute and you'll advance way faster than any other way.

Check out my big post above. I got an auger level 3 on day 7 playing only intelligence in A20

Are you talking about making enough money to purchase one that was available on the first day or are you talking about the Tier 1 Quest completion package? If the former, the bike isn't always available to be purchased and if the latter, I can only assume that you must be playing with a modified day length and not playing the default 60 minute daylength. The Tier 1 completion reward comes at the end of 10 Tier 1 quests completed and most people aren't going to speed run the game to the degree that they get all ten quests completed on day one,

Trader balancing is ongoing and there was definitely some adjustments for A20 and there will be more in the future--but probably not enough to counteract someone choosing to cram 10 quests in a day.  Maybe the solution is simply to have the trader state that there are no more jobs available after 2-3 have been done in a single day.

I do agree that too valuable loot is too commonly obtained too soon. It should still be possible but it should be very very rare-- at least in the Forest biome. If someone wants to venture into a tougher biome for a better chance at better loot that should be possible.

I'm afraid to answer you, but I'll answer. The second one. We played as three. All three received bicycles. I'm not sure about 10, but one of us, the one who managed to pass the last quest before the trader closed, received a bicycle at the end of the first day. I'll check it from the screenshots, maybe I'm confusing it and it was the end of day 2. It's not that important. The length of the day is standard. I agree that in the group quest are completing faster, but it is easy to perform 3-4 tasks a day alone, so you will get a bike on day 3 in solo game. I'm not saying it's a disbalance, strangely enough. You pulled this phrase out of context as always, where I asked about the purpose of the "mechanic" skill, not about the balance of the appearance of a fast bike.

  5.

I'll tell you what I found on the first day of the game. 100% loot/exp, jog/sprint/sprint/nighmare, survivalist, feral night

    0. It so happened that I started building a base on the POI territory called "part_trader_tile_filler_01". In some places of this territory, I cannot place blocks. Because of this, I have a funny hole in the ceiling of the bunker. I don't understand what it is. Video:

    2. Poor balance of new pipe weapons. What is one reason to use a pipe shotgun or pipe rifle instead of a pipe machinegun? Why is a pipe baton worse than a wooden one in terms of characteristics?

    3. New menu of forms for building. On the one hand, having such a variety is very good, but on the other, why did they add ALL the forms that exist in the game? Broken ducts and the like could have been left for creative, why would a broken wood duct be used in survival? Some of these forms just spoil the atmosphere of the game.

    4. A bicycle at the end of the first day is fine, but why is there a mechanic skill then? I don't know if the trader will issue other transport? (I only played 7 in-game days and opened three traders so bicycle offered twice)

    5. As I thought, the "rebalancing" of the trader was reduced to the fact that they reduced the ammo and grenades in half for the quest rewards. I played through pure intelligence and rush barter and adventurer and this is what I got in secret stash.

Day 3. AK-47 level 3, steel sledgehammer level 1 (bought for mate) and nailgun (bought), concrete (bought):

Thanks TFP very much for work and for the long awaited update. In general, the world looks much better, especially the cities. It's cool, but unfortunately there isn't much new content. In fact, the A20 looks like a remaster of the A19. The pipe weapon does not fill any gaps and is quickly out of the game. In addition, it is unbalanced and therefore most of it is simply not needed. Modifiers for cars are cool, but until not checked. City generation is great. New POIs too. And you know about the drone.

Have the last 3 days really been that much of a burden for you? The optimization issue was noticed on Friday, the day streaming started. Relax, dude.

Yes. It was a weekend and I could play these three days the game I had been waiting for 1.5 years

  7. 12 minutes ago, Roland said:

Look, everyone here can attest that you have posted way more than one word about how you won't be able to play a bit of 7 Days to Die until this next coming weekend because you work and have a job. I really wish you HAD only mentioned it once for me to have to pick it out of some obscure post.

    Default lie

    12 minutes ago, Roland said:

It may have been Friday but it was after watching a streamer play. That's the point. You asked what was fixed thanks to the weekend stream and faatal gave you an example. To that you are going to exclude days of the event since it messes up your narrative?

It really doesn't matter because of the second question you ignored

  8. 12 minutes ago, Roland said:

faatal just said that he was able to optimize the downtown areas so that when everyone without jobs plays today they'll be able to have a better experience. Of course, by time you play this coming weekend because of how tight your weekday schedule is, there will probably be even more fixes so that when you are on insane nightmare and trying to not exploit the trader you also will have a great experience.

Lol how toxic. You probably really hoped that I would be incredibly offended by your false message, but believe me, I'm used to people on this forum taking one word from a paragraph and using it against you, ignoring everything else.

He wrote that he noticed this on Friday, what does your event have to do with it? And besides, they were able to play with it, why couldn't I?

It would be nice to see an appended patch notes to see how many issues were resolved as a direct result of findings of streamer weekend.  Not to justify it, but maybe convince a handful of folks who railed against steamer weekend ;)

Most of the players of this game are not even on this forum. They probably doesn't care at all, because they don't even know about this event. For some reason, I'm sure that if you ask an common player what he would prefer - to watch streams on A20 or play in A20, he would choose the second most often. So, calling someone a "handful" is just ridiculous.

  10. 4 minutes ago, overgoat said:

They have said repeatedly its an estimate and depends on severity of issues discovered.  I'd much rather they delay hours or days and get a major bug patched than get an unplayable release and wait weeks/months for a bigger patch.

So what so serious they found? More importantly, what did they fix?😂

LOL, I'm sorry if I sound like I'm mocking you, but I assure you, I'm not: I think your avatar is perfect; every time you write something I can see that rooster speaking exactly like that, and it fits perfectly with your general tone in your replies!

Is this sarcasm or did something happen over the weekend I missed?  I don't like watching streaming stuff, I've never understood the point of watching other people play games.

First. Of course, I also did not watch a single stream. By the way, I think nothing happened this weekend, as expected, these "testers" did not find anything significant.

Sodium, atomic number 11, was first isolated by Bachgaman in 1807. A chemical component of salt, he named it Na in honor of the saltiest region on earth, North America.

Bachgaman, I am a little concerned about your diet, it seems you are eating to much salt.

What's salty? I really don't know because I haven't played yet. I didn't play because I didn't buy 5000 bots like some other people did. This is true

Looking at it for what it is in A19, a sensible and functional system that doesn't need to be molested, couldn't I just use the exact same reasoning and say:

'Those who don't like farming, mod your server or individual game to remove seeds full stop, or just don't farm.'

You could. And people like you did it when I asked why the trader gives out 200 ammo for tier 1 quests

    11 hours ago, Khalagar said:

People aren't complaining about farming being nerfed to encourage using the perk, people are complaining about the RNG aspect which is not fun and can lead to very unhappy moments, like MisutoM showed in his message on it.  If you take the quest reward for farm items instead of for a gun or bike or something, and get your farm plots and seeds, and have 1 point in living off the land, you can still lose all your seeds after your first harvest with bad RNG, in which case as the player, you are going to ne unhappy that you didn't just take the bicycle or gun

If they want to nerf farming, they can just make it take longer to grow a plant and let living off the land increase growth speed. That way there's no RNG to punish you for daring to try to farm before you have the perk line completely maxed out. The current implementation is basically "Don't touch farming without max perk" because you can lose your entire seed stock

Also, the current method takes way longer and requires a ton more player intervention, which is not fun. It's not a fun use of time to screw around with trying to open menus and craft seeds and drag and drop to hot bars and rearrange things etc just to replant your crops, compared to the current system where you *don't* have to do that and can instead use your time to do something actually enjoyable

Fine. Then why isn't anyone complaining about the trader's RNG? You can get the crucible in the first week if the RNG puts it in a secret cache. You can buy the AK-47 on the second day if the RNG puts it in the assortment. The awards are also RNG. Loot in chests - RNG. Your position in the random world is an RNG. The quests that the merchant gives you - RNG. Loot from zombies - RNG. Resource location - RNG. Buried Treasure - RNG. Let's delete it all? Or maybe few people who do not want the difficulties in a survival game will start using the creative mode? You don't care how to have "pleasure", so why bother others.

  15. 1 minute ago, Beelzebubs Ghost said:

All of this, but with the other suggestion.

    A. Seeds remain and 1 crop.

    B. Seeds remain and multiple crops*

*Depending on Living off the Land perk level.

Btw for those eho claim farming is or was OP, I'd first like to know what's OP about it - and before they answer that, hold the perk name in the forefront of their minds:

    'Living Off The Land.'

Not struggling, not tedious artificial slowdown of food production, but living.

(IBTT - In Before the Thriving 😬 )

Why is everyone whining about new farming? The old mechanic was really OP and also incredibly boring. You just got a whole plantation from several potatoes in a matter of days. It's too easy. It looks bad. It's the OP. That being said, use a cheat menu or mod, or edit the xml files to get as many stacks of food as you need. And stop complaining.

The farming changes sound excellent. However, the snow biome are full of walking mountains of meat (mountain lions, dire wolves, and bears). Hopefully this will be addressed in the future and all the predatory animals wandering the snow biome will only provide the player with rotten flesh instead of red meat. :)

It is enough just to reduce the amount of meat from them. And to reduce the number of wild animals, it is really strange sometimes to observe a couple of bears and three pumas in one place.
