  1. A full nest sitting on the ground will remain on the ground once looted, and continually move from full to empty based on a timer after it is looted. There are occasions for half blocks in POIs we can see the nest 'floating' since it doesn't recognise that half air gap and drop to the surface. I shall report that as it was a new feature from TFP where loot can lock in place on such blocks and terrain. It shouldn't be occuring on the ground though and is not something I've seen in play throughs or heard reported over the past couple of years.
  2. There was an A19 version. In fact, since A19 still holds a place for many people in the community, this new post shares the updated A21, along with A20, and A19 versions in one since it is such a small modlet. A19 could certainly get rough and gritty but at least the 'homestead' feature was more prominent for players in a party who liked to take that role as a support player. That is not really the case with the direction A20 began and A21 has pushed further. All out for ourselves...
  3. Here is a small 'Quality of Life Server Side Only' combined Modlet for Clear Bulletproof Glass Blocks for A21, A20, and A19. Download here: https://github.com/arramus/Clear_Bulletproof_Glass (This Modlet is Server Side Only safe. This means it does not need to be installed on the client machines because it has no custom assets.) A few images for A21. Craft in the forge in exactly the same way as regular bulletproof glass. Place Ensure you place connecting panes at the same time so they are not rotated. Rotated blocks show seams. Damage the glass And repair with glass The left side is regular weak clear glass and breaks instantly. The right side is the clear bulletproof glass with all that extra strength and repair-ability, but at a cost. While this is clear glass, it is not as clear as it was for earlier Alpha versions. Possibly the lead... ^^
  4. Testing is going well. All guards and animals could be recovered. Even the piggy which we expected to be removed by now.
  5. Removing certain animals and guards on an obsolete system, will allow the working ones to remain. There may be the loss of one or two things here and there but it won't be too bad. It will take a bit of time to iron things out and then we'll release a test release version for A21.
  6. Here is an update to the Oakraven Collection (A21) Oakraven Cooking Stations https://www.moddb.com/mods/oakraven-forest-collection/downloads/a21-oakraven-cooking-stations Oakraven Cooking Stations allow players to craft and use 4 types of Stove/Cooker. They have an increased output area to 'store' food, show animated cooking features when they are active, and do not require unlocking. Craft on the Workbench as a Variant Helper and use the 'E' key to choose between the 4 versions. A few images.
  7. After more investigation, the NPC Zombie class for the Guards is not functioning and it seems that Retro is the best way to go for now. We will not forget this mod though and will consider using default zombies to take the place of archetype ones. It won't look pretty but it could be functional. An alternative is not server side: - NPCMod since their guards can be asked to stay in one place or follow the player on quests and for looting. - Oakraven Collection Bee Hives and Chicken Coops for the resources they bring.
  8. The tire has that nice context of being the spare tire that drops down during the final wrench moment. This mod sits quietly doing its thing in the background, but really makes all the difference on those servers with a constant player count in the double figures. There was a lot more updating to get this ready for A21 with all the new types of vehicle out there. It's much appreciated.
  9. A 'server side only' mod typically changes background settings for content already existing in the game. Oakraven Collection Mods contain custom content. They work on a server but are not 'server side only' due to the custom content. The custom content is the Chicken Coops, baby Chick models, and Bird's Nests. 7 Days servers do not feature a download function beyond the World file. The others/clients joining the server need to install the same mod(s) in their Mods folder or they will not be matching the server custom content. They will either see these blue boxes which show missing content (a new A21 feature), a red console warning repeatedly scrolling on the page, or some other warnining/joining issue.
  10. Here is the seed and parameters for the image above. It has 4 old west towns, a nice sized city, and a mix of other features on a 6K. It's generated with A21 stable which has all of the POI updates, fixes, and revisions for a stable playthrough. The switch from Old West Outskirt to expanded tiling has been favourable.
  11. Here is a small update: 1. RWG Mixer The RWG Mixer for placing the expanded Old West Towns was unstable for making the Old West as an outskirt of a central Old West. It would predominately leave the town with a big hole in the middle. This has been updated to remove the Old West outskirt but increase the amount of Tiles an Old West Town can populate. The reason for adding the outskirt in the first place was because Old West tiling was unstable. However, A21 has greatly improved and both scenarios have switched places. ^^ Here is an image with the result on a 6K. All 3 of these Towns are Old West (with their own trader inside the town) and the tiling has greatly enlarged.

  13. The A21 Server Side Vehicles can be found here. Github https://github.com/arramus/A21-ServerSideVehicles Nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/4510 They're back! The original concept from Snufkin for customized Server Side Vehicles using base assets returns in its intended form, with a collection of the most functional vehicles for A21. These are using an attachment buff on top of additional customized features and at best are considered experimental. Thank you to Oakraven and Snufkin for contributing to this pack. Thank you also to the Guppy Modding community for finding a workaround for these decorative attachments. Features: - Server side mod doesn't require the client to install - Custom decorative attachments to default vehicles and game assets - Performance boosts to speed, performance, hop capability, and buff defense - Hooked into regular vehicles Known and Potential issues: - Janky. They may have performance issues due to processing demands. - A red console warning tells us an asset is using an outdated Unity feature, and nothing can be done about that. It was reported as a 'bug' but it is not a priority issue since we are using these vehicles in ways which were never intended. This warning appears to be simply that. - They push speed to server limits and chunks may need 'catch up' where server hardware is a little sub par.
  14. A small update for the Mono Bikes: 1. Torque, Velocity, and Turbo settings are now reflective of the default Motorcycle. This will resolve any issues with acceleration issues.
  15. The mono bikes require an update since b323 overhauled the turbo, forward-reverse, and torque system. It's on the list and will be updated in a few hours. A new map seed with Coops already installed as a mod in the Mods folder will see Coop nests appear dynamically as the player opens up new chunks and regions.
  16. I have accepted and completed about 60 POI quests so far in Preppocalypse from Tier 1 to Tier 4 without issue on a community server, and from Tier 1 to Tier 3 on the dev testing server. I can't say I have experienced anything like this yet. Apart from being pushed through blocks and clipping through into underground or another block and getting stuck, nothing else has been out of place. I have also not heard of a similar issue from the other players in the community server and can see them getting through a lot of quests since we party up and I automatically get quest shares. They are eating their way through them for books and so on. I wonder if there are any other complementary Mods added into the Mods folder to help consider if there are any conflicts along the way. It would help a lot if you were able to share the dedicated server log if that's where you are playing and/or the client log to see what is happening at those times.
  17. Here is a small update: 1. Vehicle sets and overhauling received a few changes to match the new (b323) vehicles formatting. This ensures reverse, turbo, and torque are in compliance.
  18. Likewise for your customised server configurations. It was absolutely hilarious in there at times and kept the game stimulating and enjoyable. Now to update the vehicles before anyone notices they can reverse across an 8K World in less than 5 minutes...
  19. Just checked that Preppocalypse didn't reset player saves (at least in my instance) when updating both a dedicated server and client to (b323). There were no warnings in the server/client log either. Pushed a small stacking update to cooking pots and grills as well to bring them into line with Beakers.
  20. Here is a small update: 1. Bullet Proof Glass Repairs The Preppocalypse Mod has already included clear bullet proof glass that can be made in the forge just as with regular bullet proof glass. It can be repaired with broken glass rather than needing to totally replace with a new glass block. Since glass jars can longer be made, the default bullet proof glass block has also been given this capability. Glass is still ubiquitous in 7 Days and this gives it an additional context. Damaged Bullet Proof Glass Repaired with broken glass 2. A few recipes have reduced their time until ready as they were taking a bit too long in comparison to recipes of their class. - Yaki Miso Onigiri - Wild Rice and Mushrooms - Blueberry Prepper Bars ^^ 3. Paint can be stacked to 6000 which matches other industrial type resources.
  21. Added to the first post for A20 Server Side Vehicles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This mod has been partially updated for A21. However, the feature which adds decorations to vehicles such as spikes to the 4x4 is not working as intended. This has been reported as a potential bug (even though it is for modding) and we are awaiting a response or action on this. It will be released once resolved. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22. Yes, there is. The message posted before your message explains the current situation.
  23. Adding a modlet once a World is already up and running is always a risk, and more so since A20 based on how things are stored in the World files. A19 was more forgiving but those days are gone. The Coop Mod removes existing nests before a World begins, and then adds these updated versions. The nests are placed on the World dynamically as a player moves to new regions in the World. It is best not to add and remove mods once a World has gone live unless you are willing to take the risk as the consequences can be World changing in a negative way. If you are going to start a new World without this mod, that resolves the issue. If you are going to try again with this mod, ensure it is installed before anyone joins the World. Scanning through the test log on a new World of Navezgane with only the Bee Hives Mod active in b317 did not show a similar error report. The Avatar Controller used in this mod is 'AvatarAnimalController'. This is the same one used for snakes, bears, boars, etc. It is bundled into the game by default, and as such is native to the game files. If other players using this mod experience the same issue, they will be able to see your error post and hopefully upload the whole log to show if there are any other mods in the mix or if it is purely linked to the Bee Hives.
  24. Yes, it can be a lonnnnnng file for sure. Pasting it here and then sharing the link is what TFP recommend when posting bugs and things like that. https://pastebin.com/
  25. I'm using the A20 farming for A19 in A21 and it is functioning appropriately without any errors or warnings. A cross check of the files for A21 shows compliance. I've been using it for about 50 game days so far with multiple harvesting for all plant types.
