  1. I think some of those things on the list are quite reasonable..the sham and the tier 3 weapon schematics but the other ones..not up to me but I don't see why some of us those couldn't appear on the trader much farther into the game or after a certain lootstage
  2. it would most certainly explain why I am not finding these things at level 120 in the wasteland/snow biomes, with 5/5 lucky looter my lootstage is so high that I completely cut off my ability to get alot of these items This obviously isn't intentional but players shouldn't be punished for playing super efficiently or trying to min/max the game, you should be able to get everything in the game regardless of playstyle. Just an observation, and I am sure everyone agrees. It is just a matter of finding things in the game that still need tuning and tweaking. It is an early release game afterall. A20 loot is still very new, And I am sure it will be changed and altered and tweaked many times between now, Alpha 21 and going into gold. That said ,I am really enjoying Alpha 20 overall and I will continue to grind and play out late game, providing feedback and reporting any bugs I find.
  3. definitely an unintended oversight. It is something that isn't an ESSENTIAL lategame item, but it can only be found in early to mid game, and can't be found in the lategame when you will most likely make use of/need it. It would make more sense if I could find it in the wasteland or the snow biome where my lootstage is over 300+ but I can't and I am level 120. It doesn't make sense considering how many irradiated zombies I encounter that an item that helps deal with them just doesn't drop Could we get QA or someone from TFP to pass some kind of feedback on? as stated above, definitely seems like an unintended oversight that should be addressed.
  4. What? Traders can't sell rad remover schematics in the secret stash? I should stop wasting my time checking the traders then. Also that seems like an oversight
  5. One more question. Can this schematic appear in all of the traders secret stashes as well? What can appear in traders secret stash tier2/3?
  6. it makes no sense to me that schematics no longer drop after lootstage 240. It means I can only find this item in the forest and the more rewarding zones, are not actually more rewarding because some of the things I want just wont drop in the those zones oh those things I have done zero of. looks like I will be doing some tier 5 Poi's in the forest. but I will probably only be able to do 2 per 3 hour cycle because I have to dedicate a day every 3 days to trader checking
  7. my lootstage just standing in the middle of a road in the forest is 167, and its 190 in a tier 3 POI, I also think it is silly that it is 0 percent at lootstage 240+ because that means I can't find it in any other biome can we fix that? shouldnt a rad remover schematic/mod be able to drop at any lootstage in the game? my horde base is in the wasteland, it will never drop in any of those lootbags

I am playing on Pregen8k alpha 20 B238 It is 100% loot and buildings reset every 30 days I am level 120+ and I only have 1 Rad remover mod (on day 87 now) Since day 70 I have been checking all 13 traders with acesss to secret stash tier 2 and 3 through better barter 4 and 5 with the goggle removal It takes me from 6:05 till 22:00 to check them all more or less I have looted both tudor_mansion_01 Pois (houses with underground bunkers and library uptop(tier 3 Pois), not modern_house_18(big tier 4 mansion) I have looted every single bookstore on the map, some twice with quest resets I have done crack a book HQ 3 times I have checked various numerous mail boxes, news stands and crack a book containers I did the church with the library in the basement I have looted over 250 schematics and I haven't seen a single one for a rad remover Why is something so essential for lategame gated behind rng? Why can't it be a tier4 quest bonus reward option? Why can't we scrap 5 random schematics to get a new random one I have had all skill books completed since day 50 I don't get it why can't I find this one schematic I need, or even this one mod. any ideas?
  9. I wouldn't call it flawless. There are still alot of bugs and maybe even a bit of balance issues to iron out. (Rarity of acid,beakers,sewing kits for example) Also making .44 less rare and making it so you don't loot containers to have nothing in it/be empty. If you Lootnsomething and it is empty, why didn't it just tell you it was empty? Alpha 20 overall is really solid and stable, and as I said some things still need a bit of fine tuning and alot of bugs still need fixing . Overall 9/10 release

I experienced bug number 2 on my dedicated server as well. the drone had broke down and I was unable to repair it through the radial menu. could only fix it when I had returned it to invetory I would also like to add that I was playing alone on the server. It had broke down and I had to relog for the symbol for it to appear. it was about 2 km away and this was in Alpha 20 b238 stable

  13. I have been... lvl 90 ish, loot stage 200+ in the winter biome and with goggles, and all I get is heaping piles of ammo for the most part
  14. where do you find high quality weapons and armor in the late game? currently tier 3-5 end POI containers only have ammo and medical supplies. you occasionally get stuff in the weapon bags and other containers. is this the intended philosophy?

  17. Bug Description: when you scope in with the 2x Scope on a sniper rifle and fire it the muzzle flash animation shows up in the middle of the screen. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Attatch a 2x scope to a sniper file 2)ADS with the sniper rifle 3)Shoot Actual result: Bullet is shot, but muzzle flash appears in the middle of the crosshair Expected result: Bullet is shot with no muzzle flash in the middle of my screen. not sure if this is also an issue with 4x and 8x scopes but you should test those too. if you guys would like any additional information let me know!

  19. it may be bloat...but it adds friction and makes deciding to craft require a bit more investment and patience. idk this sounds silly but I like the nuance of having to smelt things in the forge before I can use it, as annoying and pointless as it is, it feels good to do, and it also frees up some storage space
  20. Maybe true. The trader was always there though in A19 and is still a solution in A20. But the trader is feeling alot more like an ONLY solution and not an option. Acid at its current scarcity makes the trader even more OP because you can just circumvent the problem with tokens and grinding. also in A19 I would never ever buy vehicles from the trader because it was far cheaper and more convenient to make your own. A20 is the exact opposite. if I want chem benches or vehicles or anything that requires acid to build, I am ONLY getting it from the trader because it is a far superior source compared to trying to scavenge the lands of A20 There needs to be a middle ground where both methods are just as acceptable/viable, or even in a game with asymmetric balance, they should both be in an acceptable range of balance. The scales in A20 feel far too tipped in one direction atm
  21. There's has to be more than one solution to acid than just having the book. Take hunger for example. Many ways to solve it. Hunting,cooking, questing. In a19 there were a handful of reliable ways to get acid. In a20 you need 1 book(rng) and exact knowledge of what to hit. And wrenching medical cabinets for acid is just unintutivve. Loot got tweaked and rebalanced. And I hope that acid being super rare is just an unintentional consequence of all the changes and that it is something worth looking into and adjusting before stable. It takes acid to make chem benches for example, so shouldn't wrenching destroyed benches atleast yield acid? Or have a chance to have acid on then Could acid also be a 50% chance thing at the trader like antibiotics except with a bit more variance in quantity? A20 just lacks a variety of concrete solutions for acid atm compared to a19. It's also something you can't craft or grow and farm. Also acid seemed to be in a pretty good spot in A19, so it's odd that a nerf to its drop rate has never been mentioned or conveyed, and never has anyone from TFP said acid is too common or OP. So I suspect that this isn't intended unless a Dev says so. One thing to also note is that the new loot system is a work in progress.i feel TFP have got 95% of the new system nailed down pretty well. There however seems to be a few hits and misses that need observation,data and feedback so that it can be fine tuned. Acid and beakers seem much more rare. In general equipment for forges and campfires is far more rare. Ammo and first aid bandaids/first aid kits are more common now than in A19. I am sure the new loot system will get there by A20 stable though.
  22. What? What Is your secret? With how little acid I find, the Greasemonkey perk feels so useless and wasteful because I'm not even finding enough of a key resource to craft with it. Why invest in something I will never have the resources to craft? In a19 you'd find enough acid to actually craft stuff. In alpha 20 atm anything that requires acid to craft is like playing in a sandbox with no tools. You can't really do anything
  23. So... what is everyone's thoughts on the super scarcity of acid? I'm on day 36 and I've only found 6 acid so far.5 of it went to a Chem bench and I have hardly seen any. Has anyone had any luck with acid? Also what type of medical containers yield acid when wrenched? Would like a photo if possible As is Acid seems far rarer than antibiotics maybe acid should be offered as a potential quest reward?
  24. So what's a shapeHitPointMultiplier and how does it work? Or is it something added for the future re-implementation of different block HPs?
  25. I like this, but then what about Tier 2 Restore power quest? also what about instead of doing a full clear, you have to instead fetch a battery or a part of the generator in the POI to get it to work? so its fetch and do the gen, not do the gen and clear?
