  1. It was early idea - it was scrapped early. zombies doesn't looked too good
  2. You can reused animations for new zombies without problem - in re2 or l4d2 remake zombies use this same animations while have diffrent look. And yes - a lot of zombie veriants is neccesary of immersion. another thing - you can make a group of similiar enemies variants and easy know which one is harder - i will give you RE4 remake as example - cultists looks similiar but you can easy know which one is harder - more ornamet outift mean is better, if have helmet mean he is bullet prove , if have less clothes mean it's much more aggresive. Okay but what about 7dtd? Here it's even simpler - let's make a group of soldier zombies- without helmet it's weaker, big muscle zombie is much more dangerous while zombie soldier in helmet but without tshirt but many wouds looks weaker. Civilians? If you would saw - 20 yo girl in sneakears, short leggins and top you would know that she is faster that dunno - 50 yo zombie woman in formal clothes. And many variants of zombie is crucial for immersive Crawler zombie looks worst to be honest 😕 but burned one looks much better. Still - well this is zombie game. and you meet zombie everywhere. So it would be good if doesn't looked like clone wars
  3. HD update while many zombies were removed and only few added . While in every updated some POI redesigned/new props added/new added POI, In A20 was removed 4 Zombies while adding hm... 2 if i good remember
  4. Yeah i know. But it's too late unfortunatly 😕 @Laz Man is right about that. I'm shocked why building have bigger piority for them. So - well at least 2-3 years waiting for new models of zombies 😕
  5. They were working on random generated zombie but they give up 2 GB is... funny low. You know that requiremnts was higer few times? It's not 2013 anymore. So it's expected technological progres. it's new consol generation of consols etc. so rest of games get highly improvment. Yes - nobody expected that 7DTD will be developed so long - they could without problem finish in 2015-2016 when they were close. But they decided to change thing over and over so..... but standards changes sop they have too add more zombies variants if they want too keep high quality. Will this mean some people can't play? yeah but rly low %
  6. yep body Bags on one car with crawlers but i mean just random corpses on streets, more in bulidings etc.
  7. no new zombies ;/ at least much more cars looks good. But still not enough corpses props ;/
  8. nope. I bought Mount and Blade with fire and sword. If devs change hood game into @%$# it's only their fault - yes they are bad devs. This thing with call of duty since 2019 I wrote generaly about games -.- not about 7dtd
  9. It doesn't work that way since dunno 2015? Game can be good but devs can change into terrible one during next update. So no - if game change and you don't like this - blame devs because it's only their fault. it's not longer 2004 when you bought a game on DVD and nothing would change
  10. Cool cabin. Maybe with skeleton inside?
  11. You know - good post apo need skeleton props! 😜
  12. So this mean in short - more zombie during blood moon or totaly more zombies? I wanted convice them for zombie teens like in No more room in hell or Dead space 2 but they doesn't wanted because it would cause 7dtd would be banned in few countries so some people would lose access to this game
  13. doesn't zombie destroy if they spawn from the other side ? because this looks like good if respawn from side
  14. Okay - gyrocopter should ultimate reward. LIke artifact ball in The forest - usualy defence end with wipe up or evac in most zombie games and films. "TV tropes" - so if someone manage to get it and "ran away " all blood moon it should be some type of reward ofc then gyro should be 100x more expensive and harder to make + use a lot of gas but this would both this and " get to the roof " problem. yeah ladders get damage but usualy are smart enough to not hit them enough to brake it - just everything else except ladder 12:27 - this looks like typical use of exploit of enemy AI. and it's new version because Zombie Tom Clark. this was called corridor too. And very not realistic hah. But large pit can work - well it was in TWD "by accident" - just depend what you mean but large Well literaly there is nothing to do except building for just aestetic. It will be added new biomes in next update but who know what will be later But returing to point - i was thinking what is wrong and good in both games - no i don't what to change 7dtd into valheim or valheim into 7dtd but "copy" some solutions is nothing bad - well that's how cars industry was working. I would explain more about that but i feel too tired - 10 km walk today
  15. No! this is my secret 😂 But seriously - valheim have 1 critical problem - after kiling last boss there is nothing to do
  16. it was a test how zombie will behave and it was rly... strange. To be honest - this sounds like gyrocopter use but gyrocopter have more sense. Well dawn of living dead character were using helicopter to avoid zombie horde - so super vultures was rly bad idea - it would be better to 1) just accept that by devs 2) remove gyrocopter. making tower so force zombies to use ladder sounds kind like exploiting - more logical would be if zombies would trying to collapse such building if there is no stairs 30 lines during chainsaw tier. then you increase more and more because you can use chainsaw plus more trees. so yeah put barbed wire and use sniper rilfe is good enough. So you just kill "big ones" - vultures, glows, fat. normal zombies , spiders and doggos will just die from spikes Well during normal night you can have chances to get screamer and small horde too - so this mean reapair from logical point of view? the most effective. From "gameplay" point of view? who know - in Age of empire 2 DE the best option of defence is keep soldiers in siedge tower you transport above your own walls or use them as armored armor - logical? ofc not. Effective? yeah So if there is option to use strange shaps of walls to exploit zombies? yes i saw many of such fortress on yt. it this does have sense? no. but this is sign that someone can exploit zombie AI rly good. strange example - in Call to arms ostfront i learned how to spam mines to destroy enemy tanks that i had nothing to do because script doesn't allow to more tanks to shows up and i fast cleaned inflantry so i could get even enemy heavy artilery because script teleported that. So this mean that i'm good at this game? no i just know how to exploit vehicles
  17. i can't. i always choice the most logical and efficiency solutions. Do you know this joke about skyrim "this time i will play as mage - 50 hours sneaky bowman again" but this won't help what guns i'm using if i see this same looking zombie in small room
  18. Zombie in 7dtd =/= narrow corridor Do you know that flat POis? 4 floor flat. so my observations - zombies were getting inside and were going on staircase , some just was hitting random block near entres for some reasons? some just came to random apartaments and were hitting walls. just part of them can to fight with me. To be honest - for me ladder camping is just exploit. and it's just like death corridors in older alphas And yes wood spikes are much more effective - it's cheaper and trees are infinite - and yes - okay let's make dart traps, ammo for this + blade traps with gathering resources for this and check time ( this will be totaly RNG because depend how fast you will find parts) then cut trees and make 30 lines of spikes - making such lines will be much faster and cheaper. For normal night you don't need shooting . just fix spikes at morning - and save ammo for blood moon. i don't see sense of making 100% automatic system for blood moon. In factorio this have sense - you always making something - new lines, factories etc. But here? if you set day per max minutes - you would have rly boring 30-45 minutes of doing nothing. But then at least you can camp with hunting rifle and kill just vultures and range zombies
  19. Valheim is much better if you play in 2 people - you know : i smelting ores while and my friend cutting trees or swim with resources. " he landscape has very little to explore: there's a forest, and some flowers, some caves and a few ruined buildings... wow! So, much, fun." Because it was like this how vikings saw a world ? Like literaly - just wooden house , then small village and nothing for kms? If 7dtd was set for example piooner period in USA - well it would have similiar situation. Plus - mining if 7dtd is not effective anymore. While it's a base in valheim. There is a forest - so there you can find diffrent type of tree = diffrent type of wood. Flowers? There is a lot of things depends of forest - normal or black or swamp or plains. Caves? well there is some type of caves and some of them pretty "important" buildings? ofc there is small number of them but there is thing that almost doesn't exist in 7dtd. LORE! You can find a lot of information about lore - why there is no other humans, why there is so small number of buildings, why they are undead. So there is a lot of content - trust me - just find a friend and you will always have something to do - taming animals, increasing comfort, making food and potions, a lot of option to build ( which here suit good - well vikings are not post apo survivors), finding bosses. so yeah there is so much. well you can have many biomes on one island - so this can crate mix - you can find mobs from diffrent biomes fighting against them etc. And this looks on begining as you saying but there is two elements : 1. enemies have diffrent weeknesses - so plains boss is weaker against cold so frostner or cold arrow are much better that blackmetal weapons. so until silver tier - it's simple - better tier just mean better weapon 2. there is LBD - so if you don't dying you are get better and better - and this depends on type of skill - both increase damage and stamina draining. so let's say you need 3 hit with flint axe to kill if you have 1 lvl that on 100 it will be 1 hit kill. And you always have to came back to older biomes - to get bluberries or thistle to potion in dark forest , fishes or ... ores because some thing need lower tiers metals too - so do swamp dungeon with silver items is rly fast and you have bigger boat to transport it. In 7dtd basic cube is good against normal zombie but number of them decrease and you have more and more wight or fat cops - in valheim you will always ( with small exception - now bugs can respawn in some biomes if you manage too kill mistland biome but chances of respawn is small) only greydwarfs in meadows no chance for wolfs or draugs ( unless they came from nearby biom but still will spawn in their own biom). Well later this cube will be just too low dps to be able to deal with enemies - try too kill normal zombies on begininng then 3 bikers with this same cube let's having 3 lvl of clubs - depending on your luck you will kill them faster or longer because you have % of chances to knocback - so it's just clean luck. i agree that smelting or swimming boat can be "grindy" but... 7dtd have similair problem - it's just luck what POI you will find - you want pills? you can find factory or gunshop so useless for you so much - in 7dtd everything except trader is RNG - and even you don't have 100% chances to find antibiotics even if you loot few pharmacy - in valheim you can be sure at least that you will find some surtiling ores in dungeons. so both - 7dtd and valheim can be grindy just about diffrent things
