  1. Easiest way to find the bug report forum is to click the blue banner and click ‘HERE’ at the bottom of that page which is the link.
  2. Do they reappear the next day and can you interact with them when they’re invisible? It’s not a return of the A19 bug where they drop through the surface about 5 or 6 blocks?
  3. Performance-wise, I’d turn down water quality and turn off bloom. Those both hit performance hard. You should see an immediate boost to fps I believe. As for texture glitch, I have no info to support this, but how about dynamic mesh off. That’s a new setting for A20 and it would just be an experiment to try it. You can also mess with those other settings on that same page as dynamic mesh as I believe they are all new with A20. The only settings I’m sure about are water quality and bloom.
  4. Yes, paintings are blocks now so you must destroy them before placing other blocks.
  5. Can you screenshot your video settings including the page with mesh streaming? Maybe messing with the settings that are new to A20 will fix your issue.
  6. The only sound issue for A20 that I’ve noticed is the opening/closing sounds for vault doors is way too loud.
  7. Hmmm.....works perfectly for me and is a common windows command. Make sure you are spelling it correctly. I just tried it again. If you just type tracert without an ip address it gives you options to run with the command. Be sure you are putting a space between tracert and the ip of the server.
  8. I think you misunderstood......running tracert can detect if your connection to the server is faulty, it has nothing to do with the server whatsoever. If your connection to the server is dropping packets, your game will be affected, not any other players. EDIT: maybe posting your log file using pastebin will give us more answers in case it isn't the internet connection
  9. My guess, based on other people with similar issues, is that you have A19 prefabs mixed in with A20 prefabs. If you rent a dedicated server, have the provider wipe it completely and reload only A20. There have been issues with some providers not eliminating all A19 files so until they get things figured out, you will just have to wait. If you run the server on your own pc, bring up the game launcher and select Tools then Clean Game Data and check everything then hit Clean. Now uninstall the game. Before reinstalling, right click on 7 Days in your library and select Properties then Betas and select latest_experimental-unstable version. Now install the game then set up your server.
  10. Post your log using pastebin and maybe there’s info there. Also take a look at your Event Viewer and see if there’s anything related to 7 Days or The Fun Pimps.
  11. Yes, for A20 there’s a 50% chance you won’t get a seed from harvesting.
  12. Speedtest doesn’t show all internet problems. Open the command prompt and type: tracert xx.xxx.xx.xx The x’s is the ip of the server. The result lists all the hops to the server and any packet loss. The more hops listed, the more likely you are to have problems. If it’s clean then your internet is okay. Be sure to run this right after crashing because packet loss can be intermittent.

Update all your drivers, update Windows, exclude Steam from your antivirus are a few things you should do. If it is a corrupted save, you’ll need to start over.

  17. From the server log, it appears to be a prefab issue. I wonder if there is some mixing of A19 and A20 files??? Anyway, if you haven’t done so, post this in the bug report section so the QA team can figure this out.

  20. @Stelios I’m seeing zombies in your game, I’m just not sure if the number is correct or not. Khaines mod is causing an error so I’d remove it in case it is contributing to your problems. No mods are going to be fixed for A20 until it goes stable so, for now, mods should not be used. My suggestions…..remove the mod folder, change your spawning.xml back to vanilla and do what Beelzybub suggested and visit a city, especially the downtown section where zombie spawning is increased over normal to test whether zombie spawning is bugged.
  21. This is usually due to generating an odd sized world. Rwg worlds must be multiples of 1024 So a 6k world is actually 6144, 8k is 8192 etc. So check the size of your world.
  22. I noticed that last night too….they don’t render until you are 3 or 4 blocks from them so when you can see them to shoot them, you’re in the blast radius.
  23. I don’t see an error in your log. As a test, try removing -force-d3d11 from your startup line and see if that helps.
  24. Give it a whirl and let everyone know how it went. Trust me there are many server owners who would love to host a 16k map.
  25. You could try turning on feral sense at night and see if it helps. Otherwise post your server log and someone can look at it to see if there’s a problem. Instructions are in the pinned topic above about how to report problems. I don’t have any problems with not enough zombies on my server and I have no mods and haven’t edited any xmls.
